  • man I love classic wrestling...watched those matches in Indy back in the 1970's.Valiant Brothers..Dick The Bruiser...Crusher...Cowboy Bob....what a great time to be a kid.

  • I ref'd a match for Jimmy before he retired. He is a super nice guy. I had seen him wrestle many times, so I knew what to expect. I totally forgot about how he would kiss the referee!!! I guess he wanted to surprise me with that one, and he did :)

  • One of the great ones Jimmy Valiant

  • I saw him wrestling in the 80s. I remember him on NWA wrestling on Saturdays on TBS. I also remember seeing him wrestle live with my uncle at the old Cleveland Stadium after an indians game against the A's. not sure if Joe Carter was still with the Indians then but I know Cory Snyder was.

I remember him, the Rock n Roll Express, and Nikita Koloff.

Then I saw him on the UWF on ESPN Classic, did not know who he was until I saw him in a match on there. That beard was just so long then.

  • is he ill?i mean he is so thin, hope he's ok

  • @pheet ive spoken with him a few times over the past few years, hes ok, after the major part of his career was over and he was out of the spotlight he started to drop weight. he went on a goats milk diet, he likes goats milk, and due to the fact he retired he dosent have the need to be heavy, plus with his age he wanted to be a more healthy weight. Ive got some recent photos of him with me and my family, im 6 foot even and i still look small next to him.

  • @pheet NO he dropped the weight due to his knees from years of wrestling. He became a vegetarian in 1990. He is still 200 plus pounds but 6'5. In his prime he was 300

  • If you can take the time to visit BWC,do it!I did last week and drove 6 hrs. to do so.The time spent was worth every penny of travel expense and then some.

  • Boogies School is still open. Thats where I got my training from. Boogie is the best trainier, friend, and mentor. He cares for all his students even after they graduate. I strongly recomend anyone who has a dream to strat wrestling to go to that school

  • If there is one thing in life that I would like to do before I die or he dies is to meet Jimmy.I wish he would come out to California.

  • is his scholl still open?

  • Wrestlers who are just starting out need to watch this guy to see how to grab an audience's attention. His charisma was off the hook.

  • ONE OF MY FAVORITE WRESTLERS OF ALL TIME.BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN AND BUGSY MCGRAW THE FUNNIEST TAGTEAM EVER. THE FUEDS WITH PAUL JONES AND THE NY ASSIANS, THE EXOTIC ADRIAN STREET FUEDS WERE THE BEST!

  • The WWE doesnt do anything with Jimmy.

  • @Halloffamer333 ya and it's dumb on there part i watched jimmy on tv and his brother jerry live in indianapolis and jimmy could help out there $hitty shows even from behind the curtain he knows what people want and has a history of delivering just that

  • He invited me to be a part of his camp several years ago. He really is as caring and warm as he appears. He has a genuine love and respect for his profession, the people in his profession, and those who have supported pro wrestling through the years.

  • My BOOGIE MAN, love having you here in my neck of the woods!!!

From your ghost hunter fan Sandy!!

  • @1rodfan631963 Jimmy Valiant is indeed awesome.Loved watching him growing up. Are you saying you're a ghost hunter or just a fan of the tv show? Know of any cool places in southwest VA that are haunted? Is Jimmy interested in the paranormal?

  • @ar4216 I am a huge fan of Boogie and a Ghost Hunter. Have investigated many place in our area and beyond!! Check out our fb Eastern States Paranormal. Not sure about Boogie but his wife seemed interested!!

  • @1rodfan631963 That's pretty cool. I just looked up you all's website. That theater in West Virginia is really cool looking.

  • @ar4216 Thank you!!! Are you from this area?? Keep in touch!!

  • I remember when Jimmy Valiant turned on Chief Jay Strongbow. I was a little kid and couldn't believe it.

  • Jimmy rules!

  • Jimmy Valiant is one cool ass old dude.

  • @carl22069

bro alot of guys started real young, its a good time to learn. Better they learn from him then from a friend in a backyard

  • He seems like such a passionate, caring person. He was one of my all times favourite wrestlers. It is nice to see someone who has been blessed get something back. Take care Jimmy and thanks for the memories!!!! Thank you for the upload great video.

  • @rojoy2 I'm just so glad to see someone who I loved as a young child still be alive and retire. We lost so many legends too soon. Great to see this guy looking good and being vibrant! Me and my dad would mark out when that music hit! Loved the wars with him and the Great Kabuki and Pistol Pez

  • Now if every wrestling legend could do the same as Jimmy instead of taking up all the spots and opportunities from the young, up-and-coming talents like, Hogan and Flair, this business would be much better. I know it's been said so many times and many ways, but I get tired of it. Well done, Mr. Valiant!

  • @dagreatcapri82 "cough cough FLAIR cough cough Hogan cough cough Kevin Nash"

  • hey uncle jimmy <3

  • I was trained as a professional wrestler by him, went to his school BWC in Shawsville VA class of 2004. I wrestled an indy match in NJ June of 2005 and had him and Johnny Valiant manage me VS Big Bad John {an indy wrestler}, also I was managed by Johnny Valiant several times. I went on as The Night Ninja {ring name} to wrestle Roddy Piper, Lanny Poffo, Headshrinker Samu, Tito Torres and more.

  • Been in the ring with him. I was a referee at the time. He gave me a Kiss!!! What a good man!

  • Awesome video, about an awesome man.

  • This was very well put together. Boogie is a staple in the NC/VA area and a hell of a good man.

    Excellent video!

  • Over 10,000 matches over 40 years? His body is still strong and mind is still intact! He's not a legend. He's THE legend! I hope to someday soon to visit his wrestling camp while he's still with us.

  • Trully A LEGEND. The Man that gave me my start and break in the wrestling business. I am forever greateful of Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant.

  • woooo Jimmie!!! mercy! mercy!

    thanks for the memories

  • A real legend......thanks very much!

  • I really enjoyed that., good job
