No idea. He is known for having a very extensive pedal collection. You can see it on the dvd that came with the last album if you got it. I believe most if not all of his stuff is programmed in with a midi pedalboard and is all rack units. Jeff's stuff is a lot less complicated, as you can tell.

Well, it seems different now. It seems as though he doesn't even try anymore! I would say my favorite album by them was always Adore which, to me, was about as great of an album as there could be. Billy just seems bored when he sings now, for some reason.

I definitely agree with you. Adore was beautiful, and it's still my favorite all time. :P But in regards to Zeitgeist, etc, you're right! Musically and lyrically, the album doesn't mean anything, when in the past the Pumpkins' music always meant -something-, or at least made you -feel- something. The odd thing is, the real Billy still shows in the work he does with others. I think mid-life crisis may be responsible for the new Pumpkins?

I cannot explain how happy i am Smashing Pumpkins is back. I´ve been so happy for the last two years. They have all my support and i no longer feel like criticizing anything, i just enjoy and explore the new sounds, the voice, the chords, that´s what music is for, to enjoy it.

I love the Pumpkins but I hope Billy puts a bit more effort than he did with Zeitgeist and A.G. into the next album! Also, for christ sake, hire somebody to do some background singing! Billy doing background vocals for Billy sounds sort of generic.

It was Iowa, not Indiana...and they elected to play a very short tour in very intimate theaters...gave other people a chance to see them that would not normally be able to due to the distance they'd have to travel.
