in last 2 years yes... and in 2002 but than rod was playing 3rd one and allan played on black-white...

but few years ago (2002-2005) rod usually played on his gibson sg and allan on this black-white tele (in 2005 allan played sometimes on this blue jaguar... it was horrible choice imo).

btw. is that custom tele the same on which jeremy was playing in 2000?

could you play world on tele? i think it sounds much better on it than on gibson.

(i wish idlewild always use teles when playing world... especially rod!)

They usually do use Teles =p Rod uses his Mexican one in some weird tuning and Allan uses one of those custom ones. I actually don't like my cover of Held the World so I may redo it...

I thought Rod used his Tele in standard tuning and his Gibson SG at a half-tone drop.

Thanks =D yeah they use some really weird tunings... When I Argue is tuned something like Eb-Eb-Bb-Eb-Bb-Eb, really odd. According to the Remote Part tab book, YHTWIYA is tuned C#-F#-C#-G#A#-C# with a capo at the 4th fret... he defo uses the capo live so I'm guessing it's the same tuning.

Oh I should probably point out that most of their songs are just tuned down a semitone, think some of the older ones, especially off the Captain EP, are down a full tone but yeah... I think it's just a handful that are in weird tunings.

I'm not sure, sorry. According to the Remote Part tab book, the song was recorded in open G tuning with a 5th fret capo... I'm assuming it's in the same tuning live as Rod definitely uses a capo on the 5th fret for it. Not sure if that's any help to you... could be a starting point =)
