@JTheTeach many of the "traits" we pass on are not always genetic. Most health problems are actually bad eating habits or lack of nutrients in the food. So mom and dad eat nothing but twinkies and teach you to do the same. Their a couple of couch potato marshmallows and when you grow up you become one too.
Health habits aren't genetic but the do get passed down from generation to generation as if they where. Same goes for prejudice and social habits.

Reasonable? Me?! That hurts! I've been accused of being reasonable even less than I have of not using enough exclamation marks!!!! It amazes me how so many music critics failed to appreciate just how much humour there was in Bauhaus's music. The song Nerves on their very 1st LP is quite hilarious!

@MisAnnThorpe Lenny Bruce really was a genius and the exception to the rule I'm afraid, but Richard Pryor and Bill Hicks had the right idea. Bauhaus funny though ? you'll have to educate me. My friend started a club back in those days called the Batcave and all those chaps used to come down, it was a great atmosphere and very friendly and the goth girls look marvellous of course.

@CountThrillhammer Their 3rd album Mask is as funny as it is dark. Muscle In Plastic shows Peter Murphy doing a nice line in self deprecation. There is a b side included on the CD, named after the 4 band members, where they each do their own thing. Murphy sings about how to make fish cakes! It's so ironic that a band so often accused of pretentiousness and taking themselves too seriously were one of the very few 80's band actually able to laugh at themselves!

He's not a transsexual. And transsexuals aren't weird. Chances are you've seen one/talked to one before, and didn't even know about their past, or what's in their pants.
Only invertebrates can be hermaphrodites, so there's no human hermies. There's intersexed humans, but they share little in common with "hermaphrodites". You could be a "weird" person too ya know, 1 in every 500 men have some genetic female trait like XX male syndrome. Most don't even know.
