  • yeah , ur right cut off your nail, I removed mine yesterday , had nails n imagine the result,my eye was reddish the day throughout n painfull seriously.so couldnt put my lenses on again atall

  • JUST DONT FORGET TO TAKE IT OFF WHEN U R GOIN TO BED. IT'S DANGEROUS! SERIOUSLY...

  • pls stand still sir.

  • Really wana try them, but I hate the thought of shoving my finger anywhere near my eye.

  • ok... taking it off is easy but putting it in it cost me 1 hr and earlier i was late hehe

  • ITS STUCK IN MY FUCKING EYE !

  • I always lose a lens in my eye, than i assume it popped out during the day, then i wake up the next morning and its on my pillow

  • Comment removed

  • I was expecting he'd say in the end: "...and that could be a problem"

  • DON'T PUT "How to Wear Contact Lenses " in the tittle if you're only going to show HOW TO TAKE THEM OFF.

Can't ExpertVillage get anything right? My gosh!

  • @JohnM3D why dont you learn to read dipshit the title is How to Wear Contact Lenses : How to Remove Contact Lenses. its obviously a playlist

  • my eyes are too strong i cant keep them open :P

  • lol this guy has mad facials when he talks

  • I had problem to get them in... but it was very easy to remove them :D

  • Wow, this pinch technique is MUCH easier than what I was taught before. Removing my contact lens (I only have one) was a struggle before I watched this video. Thank you for uploading this.

  • first time taking off my contacts took me like 10 mins

  • You have wonderful luck I've tried a hundred times to lay it down and all the family tried to close my eyes but I can not insert a lens I am very frustrating

  • try lenzshop.com.au for cheap contact lenses. I use them they are the best!

  • @truehop Putting them in. Take whichever hand is your hand you write with, (clean hands) and put the clean contact on your index finger. Pull down with your other hands middle finger and pull down your lower lid. Put your contact on your lower eye and slide it up and once your hand touches your eye quickly blink alot. That's what I do. Taking it out. I'm a girl, so I have to cut my index and middle fingers' nails. Pull down your lower eye lid and slide the contact down. Then pinch it! Easy.

  • Wow contacts are so easy. It takes me 10 seconds to put them in and take them out.

  • @iStephaniTV TEACH MEH!!!

  • i'm wearing them right now ! and its almost impossible to take them off ! i need to sleep school tomow and i'm going crazy -_-

  • Tell us something we don't know~ :D

  • 0:43 he's pissing on it XD

  • Nervous, Dr Edward?

  • am i the only one who has an easier time taking it off than putting it on

  • @vivian821 I do too. It's super simple for me to take them out but it takes a few minutes to get them in.

  • It takes like forever to take them out

  • fuck you ExpertVillage. Content is great, the ads are terrible.

  • I had very long nails about 6 months ago, and putting contacts on and taking them off was as easy as with short nails. I just popped the contact off with my nail by sliding my nail under it, it didn't hurt at all.

  • I just got mine yesterday, and not sure what i find harder, think it depends on how your eye feels.

Yesterday getting them in was easy, but taking them out took ages, today, it took an hour getting them in, but an earlier tonight i got both of them out first time.

  • I'm the first user of lens.. it easy to wear but I don know how to remove damn...

  • @Iep737975 same here

  • @Iep737975 same here

  • its hard to remove it without using my finger nail...

  • what if you used a shop vac ?

  • Ive been trying them for about a week. Max in time about an hour. Max out lol 2 hours. Min time in 10 seconds min time out 2 minutes. You eventually figure out your own techniques.

  • Comment removed

  • yeah this is my first time pullin them out and it's hell tryin to take them out I got one out then had to come smoke a cig and break for the other one. It's irritatin I'm left handed so my right eye was easier took me about an hour now for the left one but the best technique I've found for new users is to roll it to the edge and just pinch it and don't blink or your back to square one

  • how to remove that words on the screen? its hard for me to watch :(

  • hello guys, i want to ask all of you a quistion: will a contact lens fit all sizes of eyes or do you need to buy a smaller size for kids

  • @gamerGUY117NZ Contacts have special sizes, so yes.

  • @gamerGUY117NZ for kid...maybe they should not wear ..because it will hurt....

  • Man for the first 4 hours everything was cool. Then my left eye started getting this weird feeling, like the contact was not centered anymore or some air bubble or was irritating my eyelid skin. I took my left contact out, somehow the pinch technique worked. Took a while to put back in, and it only got worse.

By 8 hours, it was time to take them both out. Left got out in 1 minute. Right contact, took forever. 45 minutes. Had to use a different technique. ---Are contacts really worth it?

  • @exbladex99 It gets easy after awhile.. :D

  • @exbladex99 no......sometime..i face the same problem ....

  • I tried the pinch technique and the lens scratched my cornea. It better to slide and grab.

  • @PraptiUltraviolett May i ask wut happened after u scratched your cornea?

  • @iSashimiX Yes, you can either wait 2 weeks (no contacts) and it should clear up. I kept putting my contacts back to early and ended up needing antibiotic eyedrops to make it heal faster.

  • The guy putting in the contacts is pretty cute.:)

  • @RainbowPerfume i know i went to my uncle the optometrist and i put them in so easily but i couldnt get them out. in fact i was so bad he had to get me a different kind that i could take out

  • @cheesestick84 Haha, me too :D

  • I just got my contacts yesterday and I couldn't get my right one out so I had go to the doc this morning. I have them in now and still can't get them out. I'm gonna try the pinch right out technique. any other suggestions?

  • GRRRRR Still cant get this mother out!

  • this guys voice is soooo friggin annoying...... like ahh! hes a doctor or what ever and cant even say a full sentance with out studdering or saying one thing then switching around

  • aww im gonna have to cut my nails?

    i love my nails

    nooooo!!!

  • @jbtkm1 uh eww

  • @jbtkm1 You don't have to cut the finger nails, because there are NON-pinch techniques to take it out. Just search youtube.

  • I had my lens fitting at Vision Express today and it is SO HARD to get it in and out, optician had to take mine out in end, i cannot have them until i have learned to do it in the store so have to go back Tuesday and try again! :@

  • @LittleLummo same thing for me! I went today, got them in after like 30 mins and couldnt get em out! My doctor got em off and I have to go back NXT monday and try it again before getting them. <.<

  • it's way easier for girls because their fingers are tiny...

  • The key is not to blink or it will go straight back in position. Just slide it to the side continously , whilst keeping your eye lids wide open. (;

  • For those of you having problems taking them out when you've worn them for a day; add a generous amount of salt water eyedrops to your eye, the wetter your eyes are, the easier they will be to get out, then just position your finger on your eye and slide them down towards the edge of your eye.

  • just got them in after 1/2 an hour.... im too afraid to take it out... nooooooo!

  • stupid ads!!

  • At the thing about long nails, i'd just had to laugh! :D

  • nervous much?

  • FUUUUCK SPENT 45 MINUTES TRYING TO TAKE THAT SHIT OFF.

I look like motherfucking satan. My eyes are BLEEDING

Couldnt have done it without this vid. To whoever uploaded it. THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

  • @juggernaut1990 bleeding?seriously?i dont wanna add contacts....

  • today was my first day trying to put them on i wen in at 10:13 and came out at 2:00 there was no one there. it took hours to even take them out

  • i am going to have to develop a technique where my nails dont touch my eyes!

  • @meynai mini suction cups

  • I couldn't put them out. The nurse had to do it. Puting them in was somewhat ok, but out!?! It doesn't scare me to tuch my eye, its just when I see something coming, even tho I am pressing lids by the lashes away, I blink! I almost manage on one eye, I somehow slid it a bit down and it wrinklet a bit (so I could easier take it out) but naturally the feeling on the eye was wierd and I blinked. I am scared to put them back in...

  • @22Kristina23 Its always going to be the fact that your touching your eye and the fact that you are putting something on your eye. Your eye is automatically going to reject object that is touching the suface. So really what your going to have to do is just get used to the feeling!

  • dude how long time do it take for the (begginers)? answear me!

  • @1342hack Depends. For me it was in a matter of seconds when i got mine in. Getting them out probably takes about 3 minutes at least for me. Really all in all it takes about 5 minutes.

  • I just got my contacts today. Getting them in and out took about an hour, since it was my first time doing it, but now it's actually getting easier, and I'm much more used to it. I love them!

  • Thanks, I just started wearing contact lenses since 2 days ago and getting them out took me about an hour yesterday, now I did it in around 5 minutes. You saved me a lot of pain :-)

  • I had to learn how to do this at the vision care center, I could only get one lens in, and the doctor had to take it out for me. It took 2 hours. My head hurts...

  • puttin them on is a BILLION times easier! D<

  • @RainbowPerfume really? i just got them and find it easier to take em out...

Im only watching this now though because im suddnely having trouble. >_>

  • @NickyNick227: ya, i can usually stick it right on. i had trouble take it out... but got use to it :D. just keep tryin!

  • @RainbowPerfume I think I got it down now though, but I can pinch my lenses out now so its a lot easier to take them out now.

  • @RainbowPerfume Really ? I find it so easy to take them out, but not to put them in. Haha everyones different i suppose

  • @RainbowPerfume my mum says the opossite but i also wear contacts and i agree with you.

  • @RainbowPerfume But for me is much more easier to put them out.

  • @RainbowPerfume I FIND IT A BILLION TIMES EASIER TO TAKE OUT :/ IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME ?!?!?!?! ;)

  • haha. nice it's SUPER EASY. did it on my first try. :)

  • goddam it! it looks really easy, but when ur gonna try to do the same, u cant..... well, i can't... :(

  • i seriously suck at the taking out part! drives me nuts. triewd for ages one night till my eyes were bloodshot and horrendously painful and in the end i had tro get my dad whos a GP to remove them with tweezers as i could hardly see anymore!!!! get so worked up and annoyed with it grrrrrrr. nowhere near as easy as this guy makes it seem... in myt experience anyway

  • my eyes qot bloodshot too . lmaoo i thouqht i wass alonee . thiis shit is so hard . i jst qot them 3 days aqo .

  • It's pretty easy to wear them but when it comes to remove them at the end of the days this is a horror!!!! I really hate that and although the idea of the contact lenses is brilliant, that small aspect makes it much worse .. I wish I could manage tis easily !!!

  • oh my freaking god...took me 15 minutes to get my right one out and 25 minutes for the left for the first time....12:42am..

  • i couldnt even get mine out...i had my sister help lol

  • i woulda had my mom get them out for me standing right next to me but i was determined to get them out xD...plus she has long nails...

  • lol im determined like that but for contacts i get fusterated and yeh aha its easier getting someone to help

  • wow I have easier time putting them some sometimes! I can do all the steps, till Im about to close myeye the contact pops out or gets stuck to my finger! :( But the worst is taking them off, As soon as I touch the contact my eyes shut, I cant keep them open :( so it can take me up to 19min to get off

  • heh..really strange..I will shot a video of myself sometimes and show you how easy is for me to put them put...they´re out in 5sec:)

  • Removing contact lenses is soo easy for me :) I have both of them out in 5sec:) Puting in is harder.. :-/

  • really i find it harder to take them out then put em in lol

  • Can u only wear colored contactz if u need glassez

  • no u can get nonperscription

  • thanx

    ☺☼

  • so i can like go 2 a website and just buy them(i have glasses but i dont really need them)

  • No i have clear ones.. =D

  • nope, colored and clear contacts are the same thing except look. Contacts can replace glasses in about every case.

  • We don't need to see you. We need to see the techniques. Egoist.

  • i just pinch right of the cornea. lol just got mine yesterday - im getting used to it now, though it is still aggravating at times.

  • my mom luvs this commerical

  • thank God I don't need contacts...

    I just use glasses lmao

the idea of touching my eyeball creeps me outttt!

  • this guy sounds like his full of shit, not even an optometrist sum old fart dressed up like one

  • yo fuck youtube and their fucking stupid ass advertisements

  • really YouTube, a 30 second ad before a 1minute video?

  • @John88LC poor u. i didnt get an ad. xD

  • @John88LC

hit F5 to skip them all.

  • @John88LC if you wanna skip the ad, just refresh the page. that's what I do.

  • can i put my coloured ones over my percribed ones the colour isnt availible to put medicine in if i dont have my contacts in everything is soo blurry what should i do :\

  • How I was taught was to pull the bottom part of the contact down to the white of your eye hold it there, look up to the ceiling etc, and then pinch the contacts, because your looking at the ceiling the contact won't reattach to your pupil and it comes out only, I've wore them for 5 days and I'm done in 10 seconds this way. Be brave it never hurts.

  • i tried that it is hard

  • i once tried to put two in at the same time

  • Put glue on your finger and start poking haha, that's one way ^^

  • iam gonna buy a pair of light blue contact lences - i like handsome with themLOL"

  • lol when I got my contacts I didn't know how to take them out. The doctor explained me but when I had to do it by myself I started freaking out. It took me like 2 days to learn how to do it. After some bad experiences I learn how to put it in pretty fast. It's very easy, some people never learn though... Just practice and never get nervous, that's it :)

  • omfg thanks a ton!!!

i just got mine and am freaking out cause i can't remove them =/

  • Woo! i used to live in Wilmington!! :o RANDOM!

  • what i do is i put my thumb on the bottom of my eyelid, i use my forefinger to slide the lens down, when it meets my thumb it sort of bunchs up, you pinch it and it comes out. but every1 adapts their own way of doing it ^.^

  • lol well i have long nails and never had probs to put my contact on and remove them ..

  • no it easy both ways...put them in with your index finger...and you take your finger not your nails and kind of pinch them out i promise it wont her because the plastic is on there you re pulling the plastic off....

  • its harder to take it out then it is to put it in

  • thats what she said?

  • I tried both ways!!! Ugh! this is so fustrating! Does any1 hav an easier way to remove the lense?

  • at first it is frustrating, but after 2 days you'll get it for me anyways ( and i thought i would have problems with it )

open your eyes (if you need to then force your eye lids open) slide with index finger all the way down to the bottom... then give it a wide pinch

    takes practice

  • yea, it took you 2 days. it took me 2 weeks and right now im not even know how to put it in!

  • just pull your upper lid and place it on ur eye (pref white part) while ur looking up

  • look at the sky, open your eyes with both fingers, and push and pinch the lenses downwards

    u'll get it

  • til u head back and drop it on (not from a far ditance from eye!) then slide it around till it fits lol

  • this is the easiest way dude

  • how do i remove a contact thts stuk @ the top of my eye. its way up ther

  • thanks doc!!!...I got astigmatism and I'm suffering to try to put my contact lenses on my eyes, but I'm improving. there's a saying: The practice makes the teacher...!!! thanks x the video...!!!

  • why r u ovin right and left my eyes got tired are u busstin our somethin u had to go to the toilet then do the video any ways i was sitting with my auntys all i heared is a girl was wearing contact and it melted in her eye i wanna know why i am scred i have them and scared to put them in it's frikey wat if dosn't get out u know how u put elyiner on ur water line mabye it will go in the skin like i mean where ur water line is it will go down wouldn't ti

  • a. contact lenses don't melt, so unless her tears are made of petroleum-based solvent, she probably lost it.

    b. if it moves away from the front of the eye, looking and moving your eyeball around will re-center it. it won't go "in the skin."

    c. if you're scared to wear contacts, don't wear them. it'll probably be harder for you to put them in if you're scared. you gotta cowboy up and pop them in.

    d. lay off the crack pipe.

  • Spelling and sentence structure such as yours truly makes me fear for your future.

  • The previous comment was towards Miss Sarah

  • this is so hard to do i cant do it. it took me 5 min on my right eye and an hour on my left eye .. putting themin is so much easier

  • Lol for me i couldn't do it at all. Soo the opticianist said come back next week. So at home for a week I practiced touching my eye. I came back and I still couldn't do it. So the doctor put in herslef. Then it took me 15 minutes for me to put the other one in. The it only took me like 7 minutes to take both of them out. I think taking them out is way easier than putting them in. I usually push the contact down then pinch. :)

  • why he look so stiff

  • nervous

  • omg i live in wilmington nc

  • i can't !!!my cleets are stuck in your cornia!!lol

  • Spongebob xD

  • this is really helpful! thanks! ^_^

  • worst video ever. He only shows one technique (he said he would show more then one) and it is the worst way to take out your contacts.

You can scratch your cornea using this technique, and you obviously have to touch your eye because your fingers are touching your eye!

  • well ummm technically your touching the contact

  • This is a helpful video! It only took two tries for me to take them out using these instructions.

  • lol first time i got was today only took less then 5 min to put both in but taking out for me is very hard.

  • omg it took me 20 minutes to put my contacts on i was so mad

  • same, I put them in in less then 5 mins but had to have the optician take them back out because I couldn't pinch the contact

  • great video, two questions du,

    1) does the lens ever falls off or move away from the pupil?

    2) when you want to only get a colored lens and you have a 20/20 vision, do you need a prescription?

  • no to both of them questions, i got coloured lenses today just from a standard cosmetic shop, have to be over 16 tho

  • will the contact ever roll to the back of your eyeball...?

  • Ahahahaha. No. Not a chance : )

  • that bad dude, unhealthy for your eyes

problem is the absorption of gas to your eye is a bit limited with the contact lense on, so you have to take them off for a while to prevent damage to your eyes

  • why was he usig so much solution

  • he's cleaning the lens.

  • I accidently pinched my Iris, hurts :(

  • hahahahahahahahah

  • rotflmfao

  • aww im so sorry

  • lol

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • For beginners, One-day disposable contact lenses are always a good choice. They do not have to be sterilized overnight, and you can throw them out after wearing. This reduces the risk of infection as you can wear a clean pair everyday!

  • thats not how you take them out dumbass you gotta pull up your top eyelid with your left hand, then pull down the other eyelid with your midlle finger and then (while looking up) place your index finder on the contact, make it slide to the bottom of your eye and then pinch it with the index and thumb, remove. this is the way to not hurt yourself

  • Maybe for beginners that is best (I am a beginner, so I do that) but as you get more experienced you'll learn how to do it properly with only one hand
