The eggs can be slightly heated over a double boiler if you a skiddish about the raw egg thing...Ive made it that way for years with no problems. Just make sure not to make the eggs to hot or they will curdle...the alcohol if used will kill any salmonella and raw egg flavor, dont forget to add a large cinnamon stick inside container.
