No he couldn't. Tim Burton was very bizarre in the beginning of his career, but money changes people. Pee Wee's Big Adventure was one of the most bizarre movies I have ever seen. It inspired me to buy the movie. Unfortunately, the movie is a little slow moving and lacking some plot. It had tremendous potential! The Str8nime concept is awesome, but the movie can't only depend on the style.
