I do these workouts a couple of times in the morning, really strengthens and relaxes the body for whatever comes along during the day. Thank you guys!
Way too little explanation. If untrained people lower their legs as low as shown and lift their lower backs from the floor, cause they cannot hold it with their abs, they will insure their backs.
That's why, as explained in the introductory segment, one of the other women demonstrates modifications for less experienced people. Thumbs down to you.

Are beginners verbally made aware of things to avoid in this video, or not? How do beginners know what to look out for? You don't really want to tell me that you can SEE if that spine is in neutral, do you? And beginners don't even know what that means. Sorry, not good enough.
From a personal exeprience you can never tell in general what to avoid and be sure that you cover all the possible mistakes that someone especially beginners can make. The best way if you are a beginner or have a condition to do One on One class and learn the theory based on your body analysis. It is not only in Pilates it stands for anything that you want to learn. The video is just fine for people who are familiar with exercises
this is realy good ! thanks =) But I have a problem. I want to find something that train the back more specific, but I cant find anything. doese anyone know where to get some good exercises? thanks !
I have done several workouts, but Pilates are the ONLY thing that I felt in the areas i needed it. All the other workouts, afterwards i was sore all over, but pilates i felt it where i needed it the most! they are awesome!
Yes, these do work. I have been doing Pilates for a year now. The technique by Katrina is good. She is very clear. If you can, try and have a 121 with a teacher to get the basics and understand the breathing technique. Pilates is the best exercise I have every done. I absolutely love it! Have fun!
we already have a tendency to have a kyposis and forwarded shoulders. and the posture in pilates esp. when you lye down on the floor, excersises are nearly always in the position of kyphosis and forwarded shoulders. so don't these exercises accelerate this process??if you write privately I'll be grateful. my english isn't very good.I hope I could explain my problem.excuse me.
hi sarah. don`t know, if you have already find the answer but let me give you some advice. The thing is, that you have to use a head pad under your head, if you're in a supine position and try to stabilize your scapulae( slightly contract the scapulae into a V shape), try not to lift your ribcage,(when your arms are behind your ears) keep it connected with your abdominals.

Glad it worked for you too. My bro and I
used that kind of program and it actually did
wonders on our stomach. I thought that was
just a fraud site but I never thought an
internet program would bring our stomach
into flat lean abs. Anyway, you forgot to put
the site. Its all in the site:

I am not sure if the first exercise is good for the back but the others are fine.

Yeah, I was told by a good physical therapist never to arch your lower back to the posterior.

hw long does it take b4 u c d results?...?
BL3SS95 3 years ago
you'll never see the results as long as you have a layer of fat on your stomach.
