In camp douglas just outside of Chicago thousands of Confederates died from torture and neglect the prisoners were starved, and unlike union prisoners starveing because there was no food at all for guards or prisoners.

In andersonville the gaurds were dieing at an alarming rate along with the prisoners this is due to the horrible food shortage in Georgia hundreds of civilians starved in the andersonville area due to food shortages.
In camp douglas just outside of Chicago thousands of Confederates died from torture and neglect the prisoners were starved, and unlike union prisoners starveing because there was no food at all for guards or prisoners.

This would cause southern troops to be taken from the armies to put it down because the southern armies at the time were beating the yankees on the battlefield. He even wanted to transport them to Central & South America. The yankees wanted them freed, but didn't want them up north. Lincoln told them that slaves couldn't live in cold climates to calm them down.

Federal Power had bonuses such as liberty to slaves. State Power had bonuses and that depended on the state's law. Lincoln favored the Federal Government over State government. The Emancipation Proclamation, which stated all slaves on the North/Free States are declared freed.

The books are praised by many people including Texas Congressman Ron Paul. They include completely factual and documented evidence and show why the War between the States was actually fought.
