moved away from the caymans when i was 17,now 23 im here in college in the US,almost puts me in comatose just thinking back at these places,worked at brac reef 2001-02 and my first dive was on the russian destroyer,good times... couldnt of asked for a better place to grow up,miss it...
it's really nice except we recently had an earthquake and don't know we will have an after shock or not but otherwise it is nice but i am taking advantage of it i am not going to the beach enough. But i still wish i could see snow i am canadian and i have never seen snow!

I used to live there. Things have changed. I remember when they had all dirt roads...! I worked for the Architect and drew the plans for that aitport. You should have seen the old airport that we replaced. It was the only International air port in the world that didn't have a clock on the wall...!!!

I just went Scuba diving in Grand Cayman and it was the best experience of my life. I will be going back in the near future to get my Advanced Scuba Licence

Great Video! I've visited Cayman Brac 6 times I think. My family has been working with a church there for a few years. It's an absolutely beautiful place to visit. We would hang around the Brac Reef Resort just about all day.
We spent 5 days on Cayman Brac at the Brac Reef Resort which I would highly recommend. The food, service and hospitality were awesome! The resort is older, but clean and secluded. We stayed at Sunshine Suites on Grand Cayman, beautiful resort, but would not stay at that resort or 7 mile beach again. It was too commercialized. Its was like being back in the U.S. I would stay on another part of the island Rum Point maybe? Hope this helps.
If you are looking for somewhere that isn't to commercialise.... you probably would want to check out the grand caymanian hotel....im from Cayman and it's quiet in that hotel.... also camana bay had its opening this week

Ha ha, small world! It was my first time as well, diving in the ocean and all. If I was there Nov. 1-8th, then I might have seen you there. I too was at the Brac Reef resort. Awesome bar food too. Much better than the Lunch Buffet. My group went diving on the Twin Sisters Boat (one of the resort's boats). I too would recommend Brac Reef Resort!

Went to Grand Cayman and LOVED IT! Can't wait to someday soon go back. My boyfriend and I stayed at Grand Hyatt. Most amazingly beautiful place.

If you are looking for somewhere that isn't to commercialise.... you probably would want to check out the grand caymanian hotel....im from Cayman and it's quiet in that hotel.... also camana bay had its opening this week
