shadowing an area with a light colour? ..... highlights need to be just that... light.. and your shadows need to be dark... wtf man why do you think the camo paint is applied to the face as such? highest areas IE: bridge of nose, cheek bones are light green, and eye sockets, throat of the nose is dark? you just breaking up a weapons outline... do it right, no bright highlights at all. the ambient light from the sun will do that for you. just break up the outline with earth tones.

You may want to blend the colors a little more. Also the Brown really looks like a dark red in the light.

Tan base coat, OD green, SMALL amount of brown, black, tan, green, primer dust (no obstructions and stay over 9 inches away from the gun.

Just my experience.
