So essentially, this isn't copying GoW at all, and what does it matter, Dantes Inferno is on Xbox so people can play a GoW style game on both platforms. Nothing wrong with that. Now if GoW was multiplatform then yeah, this game would be a waste.

Strangely, my problem with this game doesn't originate from the game play being ripped from God of War (which is actually said to be a rip off of Devil May Cry). God of War and Devil May Cry were awesome so it would make sense other games would copy. My real problem is that they took an Italian poet and turned him into a crusader and scythe wielding bad-ass. It's not BAD per se, just slightly (note horribly) inaccurate.

This is not a fucking copy of anything. It's a game which is based on a movie.. what so ever. That it is a hack'n'slash game, is what it is. This game copied God of War from the slow-mo cinematic button mashing sequences, right down the hit-count on the side of the screen. This is pretty much God of War for Xbox 360. Players will pretty much get the same experience from both, but if you have a PS3, i recommend GoW III
