You know when I first heard this song I really hated it. I dunno why but it just had this odd, off tempo mixed with the way the lyrics are sung.

After about a week I love this song now, I figure the greatest feature of this song IS that it's such an odd mix of sounds, not something I hear too often.

Personally I don't think this was the best choice for a single. I think it sounds to slow, synthetic, and almost depressing. I like the song, but its one that I had to get used to, like many other songs on the album.

He's a genious. I thought when i first listened to plastic beach that this was the end for them...but as always happens to me with him, when i make some more listenings i rediscover a great kind of music. congratulations for him, for Albarn (= Gorillaz)
