i know everyone assumes and that pisses me off when they're not there and don't know what happened. WE wanted to fix the pads because we actually knew how to fix it and we told them that and what he should do. but that stupid fuck insisted that he do it his way and it would work, but he didn't do jack shit. i lost that tournament because of pad shit, a lot of people did. but pky or cky, i don't remember, and phrekwenci or however the fuck you spell his name, are fucking idiots. horrible tourny.

I've only had to fix the pads at our arcade a few times, but I think I even do a better job than that. Though I will say that they are a pain in the ass to clean sometimes. Or maybe it's just because I was the first to clean them here...

These pads were screwed up. Presses were registered when people didn't even hit the panels. I was right up against the left machine and saw cartoonhero's errors.

Actually, this IS how you test sensors. By applying pressure to each L-bracket while they're still on, you can find out how much they need to be loosened/tightened or to just plain test them.

thats not as bad as at my arcade the technician thinks fixing the itg pads is going in the test menu and seeing that they all work and walking away. still thats pretty pathetic for a big tournament like digital life.

I'm going to say this. After seeing people fix the pads the other day at the arcade, this is NOT how you fix the pads. I saw the sensor taken out, cleaned up, put back in, tested, rinse repeat until it really became sensitive.

I can understand not having time during the tourney, but during the offtimes *9am*, it should be looked into. Unless that was the machine that came broken (which I'd like to know WHERE it came from?!)
