The beginning is obvious they used archive footage from the first Halloween, and that scene with Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasance was the only one they did in the first one since Donald worked only 5 days. In Halloween 2, they're only scene is at the end when Dr. Loomis comes to rescue Laurie after discovering why Michael is after her.

I Personally Loved Halloween III. Alot of people hated it because Mr. Michael wasn't in it. But personally I thought it was a horror masterpiece. Especially cause it has such a great open ending. It's one of my favourites.

Yes, they tried to take the series in a physcological direction, meaning what could happen on halloween, but due to pressure to the fans, they brought him back and kept rehasing the same Michael story again and again. Many fans hate the sequels, but they wouldn't have made Michael Myers the icon he is today. Personally, I love the sequels, but the Zombie remakes were horrible.

What the hell...Laurie, who probably had never fired a gun in her life, takes a revolver (knowing Loomis, probably a large caliber like a .357), and fires twice, hitting Michael both times, straight in the eyes. That'd be a hard shot even for a qualified marksman, but Laurie manages to do it without ever firing a gun before (likely). Then again, Michael WAS less than three feet away from Laurie at the time, and at that distance, it'd be much easier not to miss...but still.
