I've just had a thought:

At the end of VOTD, Mr Copper discovers that 1 million pounds is equal to 50 million credits. That must mean that every sum of Earth money is multiplied by 50 on Sto.

Earlier in the story Foon tells Morvin that she dialed the competition line 5000 times so that's 5000 credits. If you divide 5000 by 50, you get 100. That's approximately £100, so if Morvin had to work for 20 years to make that sum of money, he'd be on £5 a year.

Actually, I was half-joking. I didn't think much of The Runaway Bride, mostly because of the effects-laden spider villainess. I do realize RTD wrote it. For me, "42" marked when Series 3 became consistently good, but most of Chibnall's work on Torchwood, particularly "Cyberwoman," has been mediocre at best.
