@beckieisagangster the fact that it sounds like it's right next to her mouth is actually, a skill of the guy on charge of the sound.. he's probably an engineer.. it's hard to make it sound good when the artists moves the mic so much, you have to compress it a lot, otherwise when the mic is close to the mouth it'd saturate the gain like hell

definitely the man knows how to deal with that

Actually, I didn't say enough, because most people don't understand subtlety. Some girl rang up a guy I know once, and a couple of weeks later he had the fuckin' Greeks on him. He even moved house.
