What makes the Saints better is the fact that both teams have incredible QB's and electric offenses, yet the Saints D is nasty while the Pats D is....bad, to say the least. @youngj1921 Brady follows the plays Belicheck calls 98% of the time, every now and then he'll check out of certain plays into runs but that doesn't require much intelligence. As far as reading defenses goes and pure QB intelligence Peyton Manning is by far the best in the NFL, and in NFL history. Ray Lewis said it himself and so did many others. Peyton Manning unfortunately carries the largest burden of any QB in the league because his team is mediocre at BEST, both offensively and defensively.

@Amgbenz0 I look at how reading defenses pans out on the stat sheet, aka less interceptions, and Brady wins. He's just cooler in the pocket. If Brady knows what your doing prior to the snap, you have no chance, period. My point is that both are essentially coaches on the field.

The thing about that is he never really checks out of plays or calls audibles, so if they are having success passing in the second half of a game after not much in the first, chances are Belicheck figured out the defense, not Brady. My point is Brady is not a coach on the field, he just executes Belichecks calls to perfection, most of the time. Peyton is on the other hand a coach on the field, a player and a game manager.

@hitdoctor24 I wouldnt consider someone the best pure passer when they throw ball into the dirt or into the stands as soon as he starts feeling the pressure from the pass rush. I like Brees but he is horrible under pressure, and hes fortunate to have the offensive line that he does or else he wouldnt be able to accomplish half the things he did on the Saints.

Eli Manning isnt the fastest or most elusive person in the world, but the way he moves around that pocket, steps up into open spaces and makes defensive ends miss on almost sure sacks all while keeping his eyes down field to deliver a big throw.. its just simply amazing. Even though hes earned a little more respect this year, i still think Eli Manning is underrated. And about Brees, you'll see what i mean next season. Hes terrified under pressure.

And that same Patriots D you're talking about with the help of some big time mistakes by the Ravens is the reason the Patriot are even in the superbowl this year. I like Tom Brady but he choked in the AFC Championship and he got bailed out by cruical mistakes by the Ravens and a game saving strip by the Pats DB in the endzone.

Bengals aren't good against above .500 teams, they can only beat poor teams. Giants proved they can beat Dallas, so as long as they win out, they've got the East. And i will give the Pats credit. They've had some major blows to their secondary, but even at that, their defense is just really, really bad. I just can't see the Patriots going to the SB this year.
