Lol, every scroll is 100% to fail or succeed. The drop rate at getting a scroll that works is dependent on the scroll's % of success.

Example, a 10% scroll will work 100% or fail 100%, the drop rate for a scroll that is "100% success" is 10%, and the rate of getting one that is "100% failure" is 90%.

A 60% scroll will work 100% or fail 100%, the drop rate for a 60% scroll that is "100% success" is 60%, and the rate of getting one that is "100% failure" is 40%.

And that is how scrolls work.

What I just posted is the "formula" if you will...of how scrolls work with their drop rates and success rates. The way of looking at scrolls without that formula would seem like they're each individual, but they're not.

Of course there are way more than just 5 of those scrolls and the more trials you make, the closer to a 60% success rate you would find.

However, this method seems unlikely to me. Using random number generators would ENSURE you a 60% chance each time.

If you had only 5 scrolls in the world then my factual theory would be irrelevant, but because that isn't the case, then your ideology you used there is also irrelevant. Every scroll is 50%. You have the % success rate as a % of possibility of looting a working scroll compared to a failing scroll.

Like I said, I made a server, and the method i said is the way it works.
