1. The Large Magellanic Cloud is 160,000 light years away from the center of the Milky Way Galaxy.

2. SGR 1900+14 is not in close orbit with Sagittarius A. It is thousands of light years away.

3. The star you are referring to is the S0—2 or S2 star, which has an orbital period of 15.56 ± 0.35 years. It's last perigee with the Sagittarius A Black Hole was in April 2002 so it is impossible for a perigee on Dec. 21st 2012.

How do Gamma Ray Bursts tie in with this, why is it all so synchronised?

The GRB model shows three waves of energy asscociated with such an event, so half way point would be another Earth impact. There are two types of waves, atmospheric waves and actual gravity waves. The atmospheric kind happen when a fast moving airmass passes over a stationary mass, like at the base of a montain. As you can see, the Draupnir wave vid shows Kansas. We are flatter than a pancake.

My belief is that space and time should be seperate. Time should be thought of as an "energy" like light, and space is just the medium that these forces manipulate

When looking at the Const Sagittarius, her arrow is pointing into the heart of the galactic center, Sgr A*. This constellation is closer to us than the galactic center, but is in the same spot in our sky. Sag's stars are 800 light years away, Sgr A* is 25,900 light years away. (+ or - 1400 Lys).
