  • WOW! At 5:30 I noticed yore wearing glasses. You may bee rite about distracting people.

  • I don’t comprehend why so many people just have no tact.

    And

(Yore a pretty girl people aren’t looking at yore feet) That made me LOL.

  • shut up annoying girl

  • @seijisan Well you're a doodie head.

  • One day, you will have a biomechanical foot, you will practically be a cyborg, and people will look at your foot, but in awe!

  • And I'm like and like and I'm like and like that like they like are like and like but like and like ummm like like like ....umm...ummm ...ummm...ummm ummmm like like like

  • Nice to see some who isn't afraid to show off and talk about her diffability.

You did say you would post a video "soon" explaining how you lost your leg. Please define 'soon' since it's been 7 months LOL.

    B

  • you look good

  • you ma'am are awesome

  • i am so happy i came upon your video. being an amputee, like there are so many things riding on my head sometimes, it's like so ridiculous. i usually wear pants so, the skirt isn't usually an issue but those were great pointers.

  • you are pretty...

  • you are really pretty and i love this video. everyone IS self-conscious about something, but ur right. people will focus on the good things more :) (i feel super confident now)

  • My eyes rarely get past the neckline, regardless of their legs...

  • Speaking as a guy who might walk by you in the street and look down at your legs, the first reason why is likely to be "Ooh, cute! How're her legs?" Once I see that one is "OEM" and one is "After Market," the next thought is, "Oh, too bad, she was hurt. I'm sorry to see that." It's not pity, it's not disgust, it's just the same sort of sympathy you'd feel seeing somebody with a black eye or a broken arm. After that? It's back to, "She's _really_ cute!"

I promise you, THAT's why guys look!

  • will u date me, please!!!

  • I really like what you had to say. As a quadruple amputee, I echo a lot of the same thoughts. You have a very positive frame of mind and that's great.

  • My friend in an amputee right above the knee and he lost it to cancer. he used to dance and play drums. now that he has gotten good at walking with he prosthetic leg he is reteaching himself how to play the drums and how to tap dance with his peg leg. its so cool and i'm proud of him

  • @AlyssaMarieRosee hey...thats me hahaha

  • There's a woman I've seen around my area who is an amputee. The way she's dealt with this issue is she's extremely blatant about it and doesn't try to hide it at all. Instead she's modified her prosthesis to look like a futuristic robot leg with LED lights and wires and it looks bad ass to be honest. It even has compartments for recharging batteries and a dock for her ipad when she's sitting.

  • marry me

  • wow yur amazinggg were u already in college in this video? jus curious i think yur really beautifull i was jus watching that other one ther where u were in college

  • you are gorgeous

  • I can't stop staring at her boobs.

  • I taught a preschool class and one of the children had a prostetic leg. She wore shorts, skirts and sandles in the summer. More power to her!

  • Yes that's what it means v

  • Please don't take this in the wrong way but does this mean that you only have 1 leg?

  • Hey hit me up some time Jon42045211@yahoo.com I'm just trying to find new people to talk to

  • When are you going to be 18?

  • You are a beautiful girl with a warm caring nature. Your video will help many people, thank you very much for sharing.

  • I can think of lots of reasons to stare at your legs. Rowr!

  • really cute amputee ...

  • "You have your heart, and that's what you need." Right on.

I'm not self concious about my left BK, I even have a Superman logo, in flames. Even though I'm OK with it, and I expect it with the Superman design, it can still get old. Great job discussing this, the paranoia we feel as amputees (about staring), and focusing on what really matters.

Now, with people constantly staring at my leg, I understand how women are annoyed by "chest stares." :)

  • so how do you keep your foot from sliding off to the side when you wear shoes like that? I have the same cosmetic prosthesis and the same type of shoes, and my foot slides off to the side. I buy the shoe a half size smaller for that purpose only but nothing works. HELP!!

  • yeah upload more videos please, what cup is that?

  • You are beautiful... with legs or without.

I'm sure many people appreciate your videos and it has likely helped many people, so keep it up!

I hope you make a video of what happened to your leg. I know you're probably tired of getting that type of question, but it's just natural human behavior :) Plus, with a video you might not have to explain yourself as much.

  • nice girl ,a love this girl !!!!

  • wow you're so beautiful :)

  • ditch those glasses, they suck

  • you are a an inspiration for those girls out there who can´t cope with their problems. i wish you the best of this world...you are so strong! keep your head up cause you are a pretty girl!

  • You're really cool. I'm looking forward to the whole story! (hint hint)!

  • You're awesome! I'm not an amputee but I stumbled upon your video, and I'm glad I did. You have such an amazing confidence about yourself :)

  • Well you really have your head together :-)as for what other people think, who cares!!.When I had an ostomy bag(twice)one of those bags you poop in people would stare at the bulge under my shirt at times the wind would expose the bag people would make comments gross noises. The bags were not clear so you couldn't see anything I finally started to go shirtless in the summer, hey its life I figured people needed to get over it I had to.Its part of life for some, people need to understand & accept it

  • I'm looking forward to hearing your sory. I did a video on the subject: "My Story, a Tale of Larceny, Diabetes and Amputation." Hopefully you didn't have to go what I went through.

What I hate are talking to people who really enjoy talking to me-- and when I tell themn my story, suddenly they have to be somewhere else.

  • well, i won't wear mini-skirts but i do wear shorts and my berkies :)

you seem to be quite positive and upbeat about being an amputee. i have some problems with my stump. there is a sharp piece of bone and the hole that my stump expressed from attached itself to the bone too. i was wondering why the pain wouldn't stop and i had swelling evey time i used my prosthetic leg. my physio guys figured it out... seeing your vid helps with a lot of the issues i am having, so thanks for sharing :)

  • Boobs!

  • @robopenis thats what i was thinking when she said" theres plenty of other things that people might be looking at" lol

  • what?

  • lmao at 3-20

  • @gercolt why?

  • The rest of you is okay? Like making babies?

  • Can I just say, I think you are incredible. I am not an amputee and I dont think I ever will be, but this is inspiring. You are so so so right that anytime anyone looks at anything, us girls (and maybe even guys) think its a bad stare and how they must be looking at what makes us uncomfortable. But I guess I should wear what makes me feel like I look good rather then trying to please everyone because you just cant. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • WERE what you want ,fuck everyone ,life's to short to worry about staring ,cunts

  • Be who you are..see my video and link

  • No one is gonna notice your missing leg, trust me. ;)

  • I just stumbled across this video....I think it's great that you're making these informative/inspirational videos for amputees! Love your positive attitude!

  • I'm an amputee also, I had my left forearm amputated when I was 7,and I wear short sleeved shirts all the time and I don't care if people stare!

  • oh and i subscribed ;)

  • i love the message you're sending people and i love this video. the more power to you. I hope you dont mind i shared this video on tumblr, and i did give u credit. :) keep up the good work.

  • bbyyyyy fk u don need ur leg if u lost it u look gorgeous my love can't u see urself?

bby trust me any guy would date u like wtf seriously i would date u anytime wish was closer to prove it bby ur great my lose i swear i would kiss it for u hehe wear a skrt and everything love u so much bby wish u all the luck in life mwahhh

  • i am an amputee too....check out my channel

  • i love your attitude!

  • would love to see her stump

  • Your so beautiful wish you the best don't worry about your image you truly are one great looking young women might be the next model . Maybe you can show of your sexy leg in a mini one day keep up the great work love the videos please keep them going :):)

  • booobs

  • You shouldn't worry, you are one hot girl, especially in the specs! You should wear your leg without the cover on you'd look invincible, look at aimee mullins, good luck

  • im so jealous of your foot that can wear heels. mine is so flat, i cant wear the little heel.

  • amputee or not, miniskirts are sexy!

  • It's a choice any amp girl makes & it all depends how confident she is with her pros and being an amp girl. Just because one leg is shorter than another doesn't mean it's any less attractive. It also doesn't make you any less beautiful. Also, lots of girls who don't like how their legs look don't wear mini skirts. It's much less of a challenge being a BK amp girl because there's less to be concerned about. You can also chose to celebrate being different.

  • You're super!!! I like the way you deal with that stuff, very wise of you. It sucks how self-consciousness can make life uncomfortable.

  • Great video - a very interesting perspective

  • I've always felt really uncomfortable wearing mini-skirts in public, so I can totally relate.

  • @JoshSundquist Really josh? youre hilarious.. but next time you reach a goal you should wear one in public for the subbers

  • Yeah, i've known some amputee women i've seen, they wore skirts every time i saw then in public, they were above knee amputees and i probably thought they were self conscious and wore skirts cause if they wore leggings, it would be pretty easy to tell that they're missing a leg, like an empty pant leg, or a stump if they had short shorts on.

  • According to that prothesis you held up. you appear to be a BK amputee, below the knee. So then, how did you lose it?

  • @Chachaman111 yes i am a bk amputee i'll be posting a video pretty soon with the whole story! thanks for the feedback:)

  • Can I just say I think you are soooo hot your leg would be the last thing anyone would look at, you also come across as a really nice genuine girl, great video :)
