Ummm ... sorry to burst your bubbles but the mitral valve or the bicuspid valve is on the LEFT side and not the right. Right Atrium --> Tricuspid --> right ventricle.
I've got my bio 1 exam coming up and this has made things a lot clearer for me! Thanks! I didn't expect to get a giggle out of it as well... '..by no means an accurate anatomical representation'. Hehe.
THANK YOU! I have a test on the heart this week and thanks to a shitty teacher and shitty textbook just couldn't wrap my head around the flow of blood through the heart til I watched this vid.
i loved the way you did explain the flow. if you can could you explain the mechanism in simple terms that regulate the blood flow through the arteries, capillaries and veins.
I'm a last semester nursing student and seriously this is the first time I"ve FULLY understood the blood flow through the heart. Thank you SOO much!!!
Wow thank you!! I am having a hard time learning this but your video helped alot! could you make a video where you just say random stuff and add the word "blue" to each sentence! jk I like that way you say it!
This was very helpful, you moved at a great pace for relaxed learning. The drawing of each part was very helpful. Thank you, I'm making this one of my favorites.

I have struggled all through university trying to get my head around the blood flow of the heart. Sometimes I think I've got it, then I confuse myself. Your explanation has made it so easy for me to really 'get it'. Thank you so much.
This is a great video! its always so easy to forget the blood flow if you dont review it all the time! I will definitely recommend this video to all nursing students!!
This video helped me so much! I had a Biology test and i was looking for a video to help me understand the blood flow and you did a wonderful job! So again, thank you so much!!(:
Thank u so much for posting this video. I was sitting in class so confused and this clears everything up. Now I understand what my professor was trying to say. Sometimes I feel like teachers just have to rush through information to give students the information for the test, but they lack the time to make students truely understand material like the heart. Thanks again :)
Thank you for the simple drawing and explanation. I am an older student and was having difficulty following my instructor's lesson on this in my college anatomy and physiology class. She tends to ramble on without demonstrating what she's talking about. :) Good job!
hi can you explain how does the blood pass through the tongue to the stomach.....and right ovary to ventral abdominal wall.....pleeeaaseee.....your answer would be very much appreciated
Wow this video is truely a life saver. Thanks for being forward thinking enough to share it and explain it a bit better then most A+P professors. I tip my hat to you friend.
I noticed you didn't mention the interatrial septum or maybe I just missed it. But you mention the interventricular septum so I suppose it's common sense what seperates the atriums. But this video really helped me understand the blood flow through the heart. Thanks man I appreciate it! :)
You helped me SO much! I have an anatomy test on the heart tomorrow and was completely lost, but now I understand! Thank you SOOOOO much again, thank you :)
This video was so much help! I just couldnt get it from reading the texts, now i feel a lot more confident after having watched this video 3 times then drawing it twice.
This was very, very helpful. I'm about to take a final on the cardiovascular system, and I needed to know how the blood flows thru the heart, and this was a great tutorial...I even started the video over and drew the heart with you, it gives better understanding to see it versus just reading it in a book, so now I feel more comfortable w/this part of the cv system! Thanks a lot!!! Keep posting these videos!
What a lucid video. Explains so much that £50 text books haven't. Are you considering pathophysiology of the heart also? Please keep posting, your work is really informative. I even drew the picture with you myself.
