actually his metaphor sucks. if your nailing something with a hammer, no matter how far in it already is, you want to hold the hammer at the end to maximize the leverage of the hammer. choking up on it just makes you use more arm and less hammer. do you want to hit the ball with your arm, or your club? need to learn about leverage my friend.

He does have some good points, like choking up on the club to get more control. He is left handed so it's deceiving to the eye that he has a bad swing. It's not the greattest posture but it's pretty good.

He actually said 'line up square to the target'. I agree that you should be open, but if you watch the video, he has an open stance when he hits those flop shots.

He says that you keep your feet square to the target when hitting a flop shot... what utter bullshit... you aim your feet to the left of the target if you are a righty or to the right of the target if you are a lefty, open the clubface and keep your upper body square to the target so you have an out-to-in swing... he is the worst pro of all time... i'm only 16 but i have mastered the flop shot and i know more about the mechanics of golf than he'll ever know...

you must be only 16 if you dont know how to listen/watch properly.. he said he wanted your feet more square to the targert for the low shot, not the flop shot. his point was that the lower shot was easier to execute than the flop shot.
