It was my understanding that George wrote this for Patti. And Eric wrote Layla for her. Supposedly, Eric and George remained best friends after that. But Eric wasn't there at the end for George.

Prabhupada was talking about the sacred Tulasi plant. He was saying it was growing profusely under Patty's care therefore this proves Patty is devotee because the plant will not grow with non-devotee.

Well, i always knew in my heart that Srimati Patty was an exalted devotee of Srila Prabhupada; this confirms it, thanks Prabhuji! It's also subtly stated in Nov '77 when S. Damodar impudently challenges SP: "SP, can you tell us why you want to go on parikrama?!" SP: "Good Patty!" (i believe SP's reverse speech in that statement is: "and George" HDG wishes to leave the Ravana, Guru-killing swine and go see "GOOD Patty & George" (Duh!!)
