Both compete with japan branded trucks and beat some and lose to few. The ranger fears no titan and the silverado holds its own against most im looking for a tuner for it currently all in all american made trucks are what started it and they dam well are gonna finish it

Don't get all butthurt that the Chubby got it's ass handed to it. Titan is now rated as 317hp but is actually closer to 360hp stock. GM makes good engines but the imports almost always last longer and make more power.

My truck weighs 5500lbs and has 350hp, the Mustang weighs 3500lbs and has approx 275 hp. I still pulled on it despite having a 1 ton weight disadvantage. Torque is king and the VK56 owns all except for diesels.
I would have to admit that is pretty impressive. But just remember this statement when your truck is being pulled behind my silverado in about 6 years from now. Hell I'm surprised it lasted this long! Applause!

I like the LSx engines but the only advantage they have is a wider selection of cams. Look up Toomnymods his is bolt-ons, tune and very mild cams.

Call it what you want. Maybe the one i raced was junk or he didnt know how to run, but i beat his ass. As far as trucks go stcok, the Tundra is the only one that will beat a stock Titan and that could go either way.

I have an 05 Titan King Cab LE 4X4 Bone Stock. Before I bought it, I prices all other american made trucks. I will tell you, titan gives you more bang for the buck. I bought mine for about 33K, 33K a ram doesnt even have leather or a hemi. Anyone looked at HP and Torque numbers yet? Titan schools even a hemi in torque. Its made in America. Best truck out there

1. if you look at any site that really knows what they are talking about they will all say that the titan has way better dependabillity than any american made truck. 2. The titan has the most power most wanted by a truck buyer. 3. The car and driver people think the same, this is what one of them said word on word (their are trucks and then thier is the titan) 4. Spend the money you saved from not buying the Titan on your Silverado. . .

Well argue if you want, but my freind has a SWB 2006 Hemi Ram and it has owned EVERY truck he has run it against, except the SRT-10 Viper truck. But a Titan gives it a better run than anything else.

Neither one "sucks." I've driven Chevys and Dodges, owned a 92 Ram, it was a great truck and with the 318 Magnum, SWB and a 5 speed was faster than the Chevys and the Fords of the same era. I think a gas guzzling Tundra trying to compete power wise is probably a bad idea. People who buy Toyota trucks buy for mileage and longevity even though My Toyota was the worst I've ever owned longevity wise.

First off, why would you compare a blown truck to a N/A truck? Is it because you know you have no chance without a blower? A stock 5.3 Chevy is lunch meat for a Hemi Ram, Titan or a lightning, and with a blower it might keep up with the Lightning. Maybe. Of course pull up next to a Titan that has Stillen badges on the side and I suggest you keep your head low until he moves off...

Ha ha ha nice i always smoke silverados with mine with the exeption of the SS, its a little hard to get those but im not impressed with it for being a preformance truck...nice run!!
