gsr B18c1 and sir-g b18c have the same vtec train but has a low vtec kick-in sound do to the unique cylinder head design. All b-series type R's use the type R b16 cylinder head.
next time warm ur car up lol look at ur temp gauge i had a gsr and own a type s rsx now.....they run better when there hot... and shitft out 8,200 rookie
its good to know that someone knows how to slip a clutch to accelerate from a stop. these other people posting and trying to make your driving look bad must be driving around in automatics since they don't understand that you have to slowly engage the clutch manually on a manual transmission which is called slipping the clutch in order to successfully get the car moving. we need more knowledgeable people to start posting comments here on youtube. these others need to go somewhere else.
@hayde348 we've known this for a little time now. i'm pretty sure that's why there are cam upgrades specifically made for non-vtec and vtec systems alike. stop being an idiot
@TheHumanRicer probably cause 1st is to short caue its torquey and you stay in vtec through second so by putting it in 3rd and letting it crossover slowly would be much much louder :P
wt does it sound like the vtec

@clucasrob85 When he went into 2nd he rode the clutch like a bitch, no one is arguing with his start.
azasmith91 3 months ago
@azasmith91 how do you know he rode his clutch? he could have had a stock clutch and stock clutches don't hold too well.

@Petewebber2 you have to slip a clutch to take off no matter how fast you launch. otherwise, you will stall and fail

you should do it during 3rd gear. i have tried it a couple times in my gsr. i notice it is much louder during 3rd gear. just my opinion
TheHumanRicer 1 year ago
@TheHumanRicer: yeah that is true at third gear it is much louder, but we were at a red light so we launch at green light.
