The band is actually pretty tight. It only sounds a little cheesy cuz their mix is off...guitar and bass needs to be up, with some more gain on the guitar. The guitarist did a decent job playing two guitar parts that come and go in different time.

Sounded pretty good on the voice. Try a pick on the bass part....you'll get rid of the slapping on the neck of the bass. It comes through pretty loud. I sing and play bass on this song in our band and it needs a nice crisp pick sound on the bass. The bass on the original sounds great. Has that late 70s, early 80s bass sound...much like The Knack and The Records.
