America should be ashamed of itself .... richest nation allegedly, yet a doctor works for virtually nothing so the less fortunate are treated. Wonderful man in the most tragic country.
I find that what he manage to do is very simple in theory, yet harder than hell to do for most people (myself included).
It's simply to have a great dream and a grand vision beyond your grasp yet within your reach, the will and effort to achieve it (lots n lots of it), and finally: Understand what you NEED to live is ALWAYS very very less than what you DESIRE and WANT.
This is a prime example of money not being an incentive to drive people's passions for a better world. Now that you have this example, and there are plenty of more, you can crush this capitalist structure of irrelevant traditional beliefs. If you guys want a deeper understanding why money is an irrelevant unreal nonhuman outdated notion of motivation and about a revolution to our traditionally old ideals, you should watch "Zeitgeist: Moving Forward". It will change the way you see everything.
Humans are evil, yet they are the nicest being you will ever meet. (aliens notwithstanding)
You see all these fat, cigar chomping bankers sat on their golden chairs, and then you see people like this great example of a kind and helpful human being. Sometimes I hate this world, and sometimes I adore it.
This brought tears to my eyes, we should introduce into the school curriculum a subject entitled 'how are you going to serve Humanity' during our time on this planet, not what are you going to be? How successful can you be?
just goes to show how fucking greedy the medical industry is. This guy has a heart and shows it. He makes a lot of money and instead of putting into bank account for his own personal life, he actually helps people who can't help themselves. We need more doctors like this. Good for you doc!! To all the other doctors out there driving porshes and have their own boat, fuck you!
@cravintruth I understand your point and do agree, to a degree. Just realize that medical school takes a lot of money and a lot of time. And also that much of what he does is subsidized by the government, so "free" it most certainly is not.
@mtb416 Nothing Dr Bob does is subsidized by the government. Not one penny. I know because I manage his accounts. He has been a " for profit" practice, and giving away over $100K a year in free care, and the reamining is mostly medicaid. This is one of the greatest obstacles Dr Bob has. People just don't understand this level of charity. They think there is a catch. Beleive me, he does not make a salary, and the clinic is NOT subsidized.
@c4yurself Medicaid IS a subsidy. So I don't see how you have proved anything I said wrong. I think what he is doing is very charitable, but that does not disprove that much of what he does is subsidized by the government.
@mtb416 some patients have medicaid, some private insurance, many/most have no ins. Those with no insurance pay little or nothing. The clinic collects far less from insurance than what is costs to literally keep the lights on. I know of a few govmt subsidized clinics where the doctors make very good salaries, and the offices are well staffed, thanks to grants and other funding. This is not the case here. It is complicated, but believe what u will. Sceptics are not going to change Dr Bob :)
@c4yurself How have I been skeptical? I never thought that he's making money off this. I have pointed out that government helps somewhat (truth) and that doctors today often have to dig into their own pockets to cover the medical costs. How can pointing out the truth be construed as "skeptical?"
Get over yourself. He's a good guy and doctor, I never said otherwise. And how can they deduct from insurance? These people don't insurance! Your comments prove to me that people are becoming stupid.
@mtb416 I agree-people ARE getting stupid.. what EXACTLY IS your point? What you call "subsidy" in this situation doesn't even cover the rent. Do you think the government should not cover anything at all for these patients? If not, what do we do,let everyone die? Do you have any idea how much money it costs to RUN a medical practice? I do- This IS what I do for a living. It seems to me that some of you people on these forums just live to argue pointlessly.

@MajorYT Yes, what we need is a group of people willing to get the media and celebrities involved. I am a "friend" of dr bob paeglow's.( google that)
- The doctor will NOT promote himself.. I spoke with him a couple weeks ago, and he remains so humble. To all: Please contact me if you are willing to help spread the word about Dr Bobs mission, and get him the attention he deserves.
@c4yurself Wow what a humble person, if he doesn't want to promote himself then we have to! I gave the link to Ellen's Twitter page but no replies. Hmmm...
This doctor does great things, but for those who think all doctors should do this - no one could afford to be a doctor. Doctors have bills and families too, just like everyone else - plus over $100,000 usually in med school tuition. Lots of doctors do stuff for free, but they can't do it all the time.
The best things in life are still free..And hes not gonna fix what isn't broken..
dr's who do it for the cash, may seem like shady mechanics because they are..maybe they think you need a gallbladder removed, basically to make a buck off you..But your not a fucking car,so its pretty sick to imagine, but it happens..And Sadly most MD's don't know a thing about nutrition..They push pharmaceutical drugs that manage..We should put more into prevention..Great video.
Can you really make $43,945.75 in 30 days with ZERO investment? Here's what I know about it. People will do it with this... Passive Income Advice [dot] com.
This isn't unfair to his family, he is leading by example, he can make a lot of money dealing with the rich or make nothing dealing with the poor. You will pry tell your kids about morals like these but never actually do them. Kids do as I say not as I do. What he is showing his family is more valuable than material things. I'm in med. school now, maybe when I'm done I could be this strong b/c I'm not now, I want nice things too much.
our economic system tells us "work hard, play hard"...this mantra is a duality: it benefits the worker, because of his seemingly social improvement via hard work...but it also improves the owners of production because of the natural course of wealth being funneled upwards and concentrated into the hands of a few (via the hard work of laborers)
if you get your piece, youre happy. its just the way the system is set up.
From a corporation in a monetary based economy this is true. You can add this to your comment, nothing given for money works for long. Nothing given for excessive money works forever. Simply the fact something didn't have a price tag doesn't mean it's worthless. If that's true there wouldn't be any non profit organizations or donations of any kind.
Your interpretation for the need of money is a sad illusion. Without money, society would progress itself into moral perfection. No longer would wars be started for the sake of scacity, crime would dramatically drop, and people would finally be free from the oppression of monopolies. If you rebute these statements as socialist, realise that we are headed that way anyway in a passive way in capitalistic means. No one has jobs because machines and technology are evolving us away from manual labor.
I really liked your video and your channel. If you need any help getting this video or channel exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.

Her reputation is for HER to rebuild. Very sad that you would take this out of the good doctor. He and the staff had nothing to do with her downfall. Don't throw stones.. these accusations are completely unfounded.

Then the world will truly become a better place.
