Sounds like 615 Music might have done the music in this promo... the instrumentation sounds a lot like the NewsOne and In-Sink music packages.

In the Mile High City in 1994: the year before NBC peacock packed its stuff, and it moved from KCNC Channel 4 to KUSA Channel 9
It was the last year for KCNC to be an affiliate owned by the network itself, right before NBC sold Channel 4 to CBS.
Also, it was the last year before rival KUSA Channel 9 welcomed the peacock into its headquarters at 500 Speer Blvd.
