Craig Murray - Against Islamophobia

I'm not as impressed by this as others here seem to be. I'm surprised to hear Craig Murray using the term Islamophobia. I can only assume that he's talking out against prejudices of different ethnic groups, an important issue. I think that it's important to distinguish between this and the stifling term Islamophobia, which attempts to redefine criticism of a religious creed as racism or intolerance.

Maryam Namazie from the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain has done some good work on it.

Buddy, listen to me, democracy is where the demos (citizen) elect their leader, so theocracy would be a system where Theos (God) elects the leader? Lol, I will explain how theocracy and democracy can live together. Theocracy means that the laws are being given by God, so, a theo-democracy will be the system where the leader will be elected by the people but the laws will always remain the ones of the religion. That is what Islam is all about, no?

Why would Imams block Mr. Murray stop him from talking to the people gathered in their mosques? Was it because Labour party had bribed/coerced them into doing so ? If so, the patrons of those mosques have been denied democracy and some good speech from Mr. Murray.

Craig Murray is the former Ambassador. Got the boot after he complained about UK government using "inteligence" obtained by torture, from a regime that boils it's opponents alive.
