The torched has passed once again with this video as it was when that speech was first given. I hope people are deciding what their role will be in passing it onto to the next generation. We have to make sure that we don't make the same mistakes that were made in the past especially since there will always be some type of challenge. Challenges shape our characters but we have control over how they shape us and what they shape us into.

"I say Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, and segregation forever" believe it or not...This man was one of the BEST governors this country has EVER seen. As awful as segregation was he did not hate blacks and was in the forefront of social programs for the under privileged both black and white.
I hope there are more kids like me who can appreciate this kind of music. This country's history has been so rich, and if more teenagers can learn this stuff, including me, then I think our generation can get so much farther in our lives.

So much happened, so much that changed the world as we know it. I guess a lot can happen from 2011 to 2100. We can only imagine what people will look back at from the 21st century. Perhaps the first contact from an alien species? Or world war 3? Its exciting to think about.
