I love this song so much, i miss my daughter so much. Life has taken her away from me and everyday i think that i failed. A father's job is to take care of his family. I failed. This song keeps me thinking and hoping i have a chance to make it right. I miss my baby!!! :(

This song is the exact story of my life i loved my dad so much he died when i was 13 and i cried and once or twice i thought of killing myself but i heard his voice telling me everything would be ok and i would see him again when my time comes

I just can't understand when my friends say they don't like country, aside from Taylor Swift, when songs like this exist. You can really tell he put his heart and soul into this. And it illustrates a relevant, beautiful, and heart-wrenching story. I actually shed tears.

This song reminds me of my gramps too. He passed away on april 7th... I was the one who found him. It was very hard to handle because everyone kept telling me that it was okay. Noone really knows how devastating something like that is though. The worst part is that my grandie was in Florida so she never even got to say goodbye. i miss you Grandpa. love ya SIVVY

i was adopted when i was 13 and my biological dad was never a dad. but this song reminds me of my adoptive dad who i see and always will see as my dad. he is always there for my sisters and i and i know that the tings he does is out of love and not because he has to. my husband and i are about to have our first son (im 20 he is 22) and i know he will be the father that my dad is and that our son will dream of.

I love this song for 2 reasons, through all the hell I put MY dad through he loves me still and always will, he is 78 and I cherish the time we get now, my son attempted suicide 11/11//09... Very good song, I remember it from when I was a child. I personally didn't have a father in my life, my mother played both roles and she was great at it. I personally have used the fact that my dad was not around to as a way of motivation to be the best dad I can be everyday, I love my 2 boys more than life itself and they have both made me so proud.

I cry each time I hear this song. My father was a man, and a Dad that was looked up to by many and left many positive impressions on those he left behind.
This song reminds me of the time when I needed to make a change in my life and he was there for support and courage I didnt have at the time. I wouldnt be where I am at today without him.

I was blessed to have a father that loved country music, his favorite being a man named Herold Jenkins.I'm not a country fan as much as a music fan, I love Rod Stewart, Air Supply, and Pink Floyd as well as Conway. Conway Twitty is right there, amoungst the giants. My father died the same year as Conway - 1993. We have an obligation to keep Conway's music alive. Radio and the country video stations have forsaken him. I love Conway, I will do my best to make sure he is never forgotten! Will you?
