Jazz,reggae,ska,soul,rock,all styles, sometimes in the same song all done spontaneous with different phrasings of her lyrics. @anthill927 Right below this quote I said the very same thing. This has got to be her greatest vocal performance. The phrasing, the vocal acrobatics...everything is just completely on point in this song. Given that it is only backed by a guitar allows her voice to rule the song. She uses it like an instrument. The different times she signs "we both know" she colors it differently each and every time.

I love Amy I think more than anyone. I have Frank, Back to Black and the deluxe version of Back to Black and I can honestly say that she is THE best singer out there. Come on, she writes her own music , does her own background vocals, and she sometimes plays the guitar in her songs!! There is no young artist out there who does that. She sells records with her voice, these other girls sell records with their azz!!!
