Of all the background music in the game, I lobe this one the most! On my most recent playthrough, this song played as I entered the tunnel under the ruins. I don't know why but somehow the song suits the place well... probably as it echoes the sadness of the poor girl sacrificed 2000 years ago, but retains some creepiness as she becomes the Ice Lady. A MIDI for this would be great.

you gotta feel bad for the ice lady (banshee was it?) she was thrown into an ice realm for 2000 years (not to mention mentally alive through the whole thing) and all she wanted was to get her revenge on the 4 people, i know revenge is bad and all, but if you were trapped for 2000 years, would you not want revenge after having a chance to get out?

i also loved how they present the updates / files of the game through a book which first page gives background story from previous MCF title. and then updates the pages in the current game as the player progresses.

Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove was my first game from the MCF series. very fun gameplay.,mysterious background stories. the graphics were great :P challenge was alright in my oppinion. although i finished the game, going to play it again during the winter. Finally the soundtrack we're memorable especially this theme. very calm & emotional. Look forward to try out the other games especially 13th skull and the ravenhearst series.

this is just the kind of music that goes through my head when I see an abandoned place like in the game covered with snow. It just seems like the snow itself is speaking to me, showing me the loneliness it must go through during the colder days of the year, when no one wants to come and listen to the snow. And it's only when you will stop and see what nature has to offer that you see the beauty lying beneath the cold unwanted exterior...
