@TheMagmagoblin I couldn't believe this was from 1960! And look at those little kids in the picture - they must have been spooky little prodigies. BTW, check "Rosetta West - Low," for a later-era slice of spooky psych.
@CEETEEEFF13 Actually the other way around. This was recorded in about 1960. The Ventures took this and renamed it on their "Ventures In Space" album from '63. I had a promotional copy of this record when I was about 10 years old.
@70moparbaby Only once did he ever tell me about his band.It was at a school record dance and I was in charge of the music and I played a song called Fogcutter and he came right over to the "record player".He told me that was his band.I was really impressed!
@70moparbaby It was probably 1965.Sad thing was the high school jock qtrback came over and jerked the record off the player and scratched the record and wanted to know who put that on.Promptly put something else on.Iwas embarassed for him. Sad for Ron.That is him with guitar and knee up. I went on to play music in different bands for 20 years.
So Cool...

I'm working a Washington-Oregon article and I'm putting this down as maybe the first psychedelic record.

The one person who disliked this song is afraid of the dark and sleeps with a nightlight on.

This picture was taken before Werewolf was recorded. I think Ron Peterson, guitar, and Chuck Schonig, accordian, were only 15 0r 116 in this picture.

LOL! I noticed there was no accordion in this song!
