  • Also, an original german made gold floyd, gold hardware.

  • How did they attach the neck to the body? If it's glue in, I'll see if I can get a neck thru or a bolt in.

  • I have a lotus and I love it! It's perfect for a beginner like me and with such a quality instrument, I just want to keep on rocking my ass off!

  • What song is that playing?

  • i've always thought that these guitars were just made for the design, never knew there was so much science behind it!

  • I saw the Motorhead "Live at Berlin" show on Paladium, and the tone of this guitar was amazingly what I want!!! Payday is friday...

  • dude i remember the first time i saw the inferno in a magazine i couldn't beleive my eyes

  • Wouldn't that broken mirror thing get in the way of certain tonal qualities?

  • the narrator could make a slice of cheese sound interesting geez...lol

  • 1:46 epic soldier fail. epic.

  • I have #17.

  • The minarik inferno is a lovely guitar, is quite light and has a nice crunchy tone! Phil Campbell from motörhead plays this on stage and it looks and sounds great. Check out the song just coz you got the power.

  • What a joke!

  • how do you not break bits off at every gig?

  • Different strokes for different folks. I happen to love the crunch and vibrance of the mirrortop inferno and it really does turn a lot of heads. Love it or hate it, you'll never forget it. Minarik's clean tone is absolutely incredible for jazz, however the shapes are a little much for a jazz stage. The crunch is unbelievable. My '65 SG sits in the closet in favor of the Inferno and Medusas. Even the Lotus (their tamest shape) is a sonic delight. Don't judge these books by their cover.

  • god why is it that there so great but so ugly the medusa is the only one that looks appealing and sounds amazing wile all of minariks other guitar look fugly but sound god like

  • Dean is complete shit compaired to a real guitar like Minarik. If that's all u aspire to play then you don't need to play guitar. They sound and look like shit. Go out and play a Minarik before you make yourself look like an ass and say dean is better than one.

  • i wish i ould play a minarik but theres no minarik dealers in vegas

  • lightweight my ass!! it breaks my shoulder in half after 10 minutes of standing up!!!

  • the medusa is my top pick of the minariks, but that's just my opinion. hate it or love it, it will stay the same.

  • damn this guitar is kinda ugly...

  • Dean still RoCkS!

  • @jerwinrocks deans are rocks!

  • Down right ugly. Low end/high end freq response? Its an electric for crying out loud. Gotta give it credit for one thing. Its probably one of the most hideous looking guitars in the world.

  • i like the other minarik guitars better

  • "then why is it Gibson, PRS, Fender etc are all still the leading companies with the best sound and range by far? Electric guitar shape has no effect on sound, it's all to do with the density of the wood and the pick-ups. Only acoustic instruments are effected by shape."

Lol, wrong. Chambering involves density, and the flames on this particular model affect resonance. Unfortunately, they're underrated and cost way more than normal people can afford. That's why those are popular, not the best.

  • I love how people who want to seem intelligent about guitars want to say this guitar is crap. I'm not enough of a guitarist to say for myself, but those I've spoken to who know and have played them say that Minarik are top quality in every way, and the Inferno is a top performer among Minariks.

  • I like the cracked mirror version.

  • you think i can customly order a lefty minarik?

  • yeah totally

  • wow...wow

    i love flames!!

is this guitar frot the Hell?

  • how much difference is there between the inferno and a Lespaul?......are th necks of the same thickness?

  • whats the name of the song at the end?

  • These guitars are so under-rated

  • simple is beauty

  • i can hardly stand the this guy's voice...just shut up!!!

  • i like how it looks like a torn flag.

  • Funstuf I read your post,I had a similiar experience, I was playing a Minarik Goddess at a music store, and the employee told me to compare it to some other brands, so I grabbed a PRS, Gibson lp,Fender strat and a esp eclipse(i think) the sustain was way better on the goddess than any of the others brands..I am not an engineer, but whatever minarik does to its guitars works.

    -Damageplan9

  • I played an inferno at a guitar store, I compared it to every gibson, esp, dean, prs and fender. guess what? the minarik sustained longer than any of them....by far. had a deeper richer tone too. It just sounded better. Anyway, just thought I would post this to let you know what I found. rock on!

  • @funnstuff4u how much does it cost ? =o

  • @666Satsana666. About $900

  • Hey meaning1, your one sad, angry, loser. I think minariks rock. I have even been lucky enough to play a few, and guess what? They really do sound killer. YOU! on the other hand, sound like your meds ran out. Either that or your from a competing guitar company...hmmmmm?

  • I didnt say they are SHIT I said they are not BETTER! they make out these guitars whacky shapes actually are designed for specific sound....only idiots will believe that, and i want there to be a 2nd opinion on these videos so as to potentially save someone alot of money. Sure they are ok, but their gimmicks do not fool me.

P.S I dont work for a guitar company.

  • dude just try one out. they are not gimmicks. have you ever played one or listened to it?

  • I have played several, heard all their models and know guitar luthiers. They are not amazing guitars at all. Seriousky, just use common sense, if these guitar "chambers" made such a big difference, then why is it Gibson, PRS, Fender etc are all still the leading companies with the best sound and range by far? Electric guitar shape has no effect on sound, it's all to do with the density of the wood and the pick-ups. Only acoustic instruments are effected by shape. Please just think about it.

  • I know the guy who makes the guitars, there is defiantly something different about them, and if you know so much about guitars then why aren't you making guitars? Basically what he says is you need more wood on the left side of the body to accentuate the low end frequencies, that logically makes sense, because the low frequencies resonate through the extra amount of wood on the left side and it amplifies the low end, much like pointing a sub at a wall, it amplifies the low end.

  • Okay, look, I can't argue with you as it's pointless. I'm just saying that those chambers don't make the guitar any better. It is a load of shit. I know alot of luthiers both electric and acoustic/classical and those chambers do not make them any better. Fender guitars actually have the widest tonal ranges or "rainbows" as he puts it in the video. And to reply to what you said before, the reason I'm not a luthier is simply because I don't want to be.

  • having good quality wood, pickups, etc makes the difference. look at the guitar a little more carefully, the strings dont go through the body individually. they all mount to the same piece of metal. this piece of metal will not break up the vibrations for them to be distributed to more or less dense parts of the body. its doesnt make sense. knowing the guy doesnt make his or your theories work any better lol

  • That is one ugly guitar, I'm a fan of the Medusa, but that is hideous. I'm sure it sounds great, but wow.

  • I played that in a guitiar shop - amazing!

  • oh crap. I want one.

    that guitar is amazing!
