our Red Burmese loves having his claws clipped...and sits just like this.amazing cats....would definitely have 2-3 of them the next time i get a kitten.one cat on its own is so sad...depending on its personality of course.

You're very good at clipping those nails. My cat Petunia lets me do it, but growls and meows at me as I clip them (she's very gentle). I'll try the "one for each paw" trick next time!

@hoshirinji oh, she growls at me when I do it, but she *never* acts out on it. She's all meow and growl but no scratch! But I now do almost exactly what you're doing above when I give snip her nails- although I haven't sung "Peel me a grape" yet!

What a beautiful lazy cat =o) I just clipped my siamese cat's nails for the first time, he too seems to really like it. I watched like 10 videos before doing this!!

Ohh i love your cat! He's so cooperative and not fussy at all! My cat's pretty fussy so i have to cut them when he's asleep, or at least half-asleep. He's a lot better then =)

I was lucky they were already semi-trained by their breeder before I got them, and then she showed me what to do and they've been used to it since they were only 3 months old. They're just really calm and happy cats in general too.

He's a "lilac" Burmese. I think in the USA he'd be called Champagne Burmese. He's a really pretty cat. And very funny!
