@Dutchfilly1 - um, he's latin not a redneck and the horse is now calm and an easy ride. apparently I'm going to have to arrange for a follow up video! btw, i looked at your recent activity and it seems you only signed up to complain about peoples videos. i'm so glad you had something to vent about here or i think you may have burst into flames. keep complaining, i'm sure it's your most appealing quality.

All the comments seem to be objecting to the way the rider is working the horse. he is really doing well. To wish him harm shows what kind of person you are. He took this horse and turned him around. You will notice hoe gentile he is with him. Very soft hands. No pressure. The horse over time responded and became a very good riding horse.
people are referring to the sheer fear and confusion the horse is exhibiting throughout the video. Yes, he was gentle with the horse, which is super. However, the horse was petrified and did not have a shot at being a solid citizen because of the situation he was put in. The ground work was not done prior to riding, hence the rearing and panicking.
Savage was sold to Roberto's boss for his wife about a year ago. She loves the horse and the horse loves her. He has a beautiful home and receives lots of attention. She does not show the horse, but does ride him. Since she is not an expert rider he must have turned out pretty well.
that's not me, my horse or my house... I just took video to share here. btw, not where horse was trained, they just brought him out to show how well he was doing...there was a mare in heat, so he went a little nutty. I can't tell the whole story with one video.
the previous owner was going to put this horse down as he was deemed crazy. the fact that this kid took him in and made him rideable is amazing. say what you want, but he saved that horses life & it now has a happy home.
I am totally surprised the horse didn't blindly bolt and run into the fences, trees cars etc. or start full out bucking. what he is doing shold be done in a safe enclose area where if the horse gets running, there are little hazards to run into or trip or flip over.
beautiful horse by the way. he sure was stepping. nervous too. there are safer ways to break a horse, unless you like the adrenalin rush or something.
well, in truth the reason the horse went a little nutty was that there was a mare in the back paddock who was in heat. they did not know this when they brought him out.
A well trained stallion wouldn't go up because of a mare, and if he was not well trained enough not to go up he was not well trained enough to be ridden.
I was lucky to have a horse in training with Cese Figuaroa when he began working Promitedo...I will never forget the thrill of watching him win at the Nationals..I wish you great luck with his son...
Haven't you paso trainers heard about ground work and preparing a horse before you get on him>. No wonder there are so many "fino rejects" being sold and whyPFHA registrations are down. Give the horse some training before getting on him. There are better ways then what this videos shows!

What a beautiful training facility! Training on the road, around junk in the yard and all is the only way to train a horse.
