  • fuck you wenger

  • no one can call liverpool or arsenal rubbish, totally out of order. and tackles like this, how does wenger not go mad or fergie no manager needs this! tony pulis cannot defend that tackle it was stupid, and i wish the fa wold fucking get off their arses and do someit. they get paid millions to do fuckall, so they best start now!!

  • I'm surprised Shawcross wasn't in Black Ops

  • arsnal have no good luck :(

  • BBC IPLAYER, lOl

  • lol Arsenal are so shit!

  • arsenal the best!!! keeep it up!

  • Arsenal suck, what does that make the 18 teams below us in the table LOL. Your just annoyed that you grew up around a Dad who was passionate and dedicated to a shit team so you followed him and now your just jealous.

  • you try justifying that tackle

  • It was a horrible tackle but Shawcross is one of a few Stoke players who is not a dirty player and a good talent just like Ramsey thankfully still is , It happens in football unfortunately , Im glad ramsey is back , I love watching Arsenal play , So attractive to watch but Mr.Wenger , Over the years under your management you have had some propper dirty players yourself so dont make out that its just you that gets it , Understand he was upset , But think before you blink !!!!

  • Arsene Wenger really is a cunt.

  • @reasonstobemiserable on what basis?

  • @reasonstobemiserable have you just looked up all Arsene Wenger videos and decided to write this?? a bit troll like isn't it?

  • @warpfield98 shhhh...... don't spoil it. Nah seriously though, I strongly believe it.

  • СУКА

  • Nw I know where that Shawcross dude went, Wenger murdered him!

  • if u watch it u can see aaron ramseys leg wobbling around - :S

  • Oh wait, Fabregas made a horror tackle last week and Wilshere got sent off for a similar one. FUCK OFF PINNOCHIO!

  • @DannyMintal

Did they brake someones leg though you thick idiot.

  • @HazZzaMerKz Hows that the point you fucking spaz? Its about intent.

  • @DannyMintal ooooooooohhh..really clever

  • @DannyMintal But he didn't break a guys fuckin leg.

  • @unSHAKENProductions A player could break his own leg. Fabregas and Wilshere went to try break a leg. Whos commited most fouls in the league this year? Arsenal. Dirtiest team in the league.

  • @DannyMintal go suck ur mom.........

  • @DannyMintal

You know what you absolute idiot, theres fouls and then theres leg breaks. If every foul got judge on a point system, then we would not be near the top. no team has ever gone on to win the league and not be top of the fair play league. and we have been placing pretty well over recent years. SO BEFORE YOU START POINTING YOUR FINGER, learn some facts you stupid idiotic person. A team could break 3 players legs in a season, and still come top of the fair play league, so stfu wasteman.

  • what made me laugh shawcross goes and does what he done and then goes and get called up by england and then have that big ear buffon rooney defend him and like he not a dirty player

  • Arsene Wenger, the greatest manager of a football club since Bill Shankley. Suck that Pulis, you cap-thug

  • wenger is right, why the fuk is shawcross steaming in like that???

  • @giggzi it was a 50/50 challange it shouldnt of even been given as a foul never mind a red card it is a shame he broke his leg

  • it wasnt all shawcross fault...of course he has no reason to go in like that but ramsey went in hard too

  • Stoke shoulda been relegated to championship. They can't play Premiership football.

  • @franchescapears haha Stoke should of been relegated don't make me laugh mate...Yeah and thats why there still in the Premiership because they carn't play Premiership football Lmfao Stoke City FC all the way mate. bye bye

  • @franchescapears so you saying wolves bolton and blackburn should also be relegated for playing the same type of football????

  • @jobburn123 are you fucked in the head champ?

how is it a 50/50 tackle if dumbfuck shawcross gets there late?

    you got problems mate.

  • @Ekmek007 who you calling champ motherfucker speaking to me like im 10 of course it was 50/50 seems like every one else thinks so apart from arsenal fans who always act like there hard done by crying because it happened to Eduardo and now ramsey stop and stfu

  • @jobburn123 If i was a 50/50 they'd have both reached the ball at the same time

  • from a arsenal fan. nobody can say arsenal suck if you say arsenal suck then your a retard and you no nothing about football. on the other hand. you cannot say liverpool suck either. two great teams. one has been ruined by their manager but now that they have roy hodgson they will be back to their best again no doubt. GET WELL SOON RAMSEY!

  • @bigtool45 u'll be even better once you get Martin O'Neill!!!

  • @bigtool45

I know it's easy to say this after it has already happened, but man, you were wrong about Hodgson.

  • @bigtool45 their fans are also class cos even with no trophies they watch and enjoy them play. its football, trophies are just a prize, playing the game is about enjoying it and scoring goals. not fucking commericalism.

  • @bigtool45 8 months on, lets take a look at that comment. . . lol roy hodgson didnt really do much eh!?

  • @Liverpool1857, your manager sucked, your owners suck, and arsenal might not have won, but they still don't have to spend to qualify. and don't blame your season on injuries, you'd be piping to the wrong crowd that know it all too well. i respect liverpool fans and liverpool football, don't get caught on a page where there'll obviously be arsenal fans.

  • oh dear oh dear!!! Dint even qualiy for champions league eh? Well well...now even benitez is gone!! good luck to be relegated.....haha

  • I'll repeat my comment that its all very well qualifying for the champions league... but arsenal have never won it... and never will.

So keep qualifying, keep saying next year your team will be older and better and keep failing, same old arsenal.

  • @Liverpool1857 Well at least they give themselves a chance to win it. Its not as if theyre playing Europa League or anything, right? Have fun next season.

  • @Liverpool1857 i fucked your mom

    ashole

  • @gunnerbrian Oh thats mature, im guessing you're 12 and have learned a new word today?

  • @Liverpool1857 man liverpools so good

  • @gunnerbrian

    i already fucked his mom

  • haha, sure - perhaps us not being there will give arsenal a better chance to win the champions league.... for the first time, you have never won it and never will,

so perhaps regarding european competitions, Arsenal fans should keep themselves quiet - you are quiet enough at the emirates usually, dont pipe-up now.

  • @Liverpool1857

im sorry mate where did liverpool finish looks like thursday night football for them hahaha

  • @Liverpool1857 just before you go back to your damp council flat to rape your daughter/sister up her saggy arsehole you ignorant scouser, ok the tackle was an accident...what does this prove, nobody is saying he meant to ruin his career. it was a shaite tackle from a shaite player who has history of breaking peoples legs, of course you probably believe all the shit the press spouts about wenger having to apologise.

THURSDAY NIGHT. CHANNEL FIVE. THURSDAY NIGHT. CHANNEL FIVE.

    FEEED THE SCOUSERS

  • @donnymcbonny Who said im from Liverpool? and the first part of your comment may be your idea of a good saturday evening, but trust me, it is not most people's.

  • @Liverpool1857 well your name implies you support liverpool/ are from liverpool, if you are not, simple change 'scouser' to an expletive of your choice, and oh so witty you are! i really didnt see that coming!! fact of the matter is im right youre wrong.

  • @donnymcbonny - You are not "right" and i am not "right" or wrong. My opinion is what i have stated, you like to resort to name calling and childish aggression, thats your choice... for the purposes of this, ok you win your argument on youtube against someone you dont know. Well done, how do you feel? better i hope.

Now stop wasting my time and go comfort that waste of space Walcott, good to see that Arsenal, an english club are contributing to England's world cup squad....

  • @Liverpool1857 yes i am right thank you. frankly i couldn't care less about the england team, a disgrace to this country, especially that so called inspirational captain gerrard.

  • @donnymcbonny No you arent right dumb@ss, i think you keep missing the point, maybe on purpose or maybe because you are generally thick.

Im sure youll be cheering for england and enjoying it if they do well in the euro's, pathetic fair weather supporter.

If you knew anything about football, it is popular consensus that the "golden generation" should be forgotten APART from Gerrard and we focus on younger players, good to see Arsenal havent named an englishman in their 25 man squad. Pathetic.

  • @Liverpool1857 look. i am right, although you say it sarcastically, i still am. i am right. you are wrong. get over it.

yeah, i probably will be cheering for england in the euro's, that doesn't mean i am a 'fair weather' supporter, it means it is my nationality. i still couldnt care less about some stupid fucking international qualifiers against some crappy eastern europeans though. interrupting the epl

yeah because gerrard has always turned it on for england hasnt he, face it. hes been shit.

  • @Liverpool1857 also, you keep talking about the lack of english players, guess why cos they're overpriced and most lack the technical ability to play for a good team numnuts. how much did you pay for johnson again?? and how inept is he at defending??

you put too much emphasis on the 25 man squad while we've had two consistent english players this season, and dont start saying how someone doesnt know anything about football and how much you know about football...it makes you look so sad.

  • @donnymcbonny Johnson is a fairly poor right back in terms of defending yes, but you seem to forget he is probably the 2nd best attacking right back in the world, behind sergio ramos. I'd rather have Johnson, an Englishman than some french or african kid that your paedo manager brings in.

Its the english premier league - it used to be mostly english players.

And: Who are your 2 *CONSISTENT* englishmen?

I dont look sad, your responses make you look like the numnut - whatever that is

  • @Liverpool1857 fact of the matter, he is no where near worth what you paid for him. Right so now we have established you are xenophobic. 'I'd rather have Johnson, an Englishman than some french or african kid that your paedo manager brings in.' Here you admit you would prefer a right back you just called 'poor' rather than another simply because of their nationality. i would rather a technically gifted, better foreign player than some middle of the road, technically poor englishman

  • @Liverpool1857 great, the premier league used to be english players...and boring with shaite quality football, now its the best league in the world with exciting action week in week out. workout which one you'd prefer.

2 consistent englishmen so far this season: Wilshere and Walcott.

  • @donnymcbonny this season? lol perhaps your definiton of consistent has changed.

I'd like to see some exciting englishmen, the next Gerrard, Lampard, Michael Owen, Rooney, Terry... not a bunch of slovakian, romanian, czech mercenaries.

And if this is the best league in the world, how do you define that?... apart from what YOU believe.

  • @Liverpool1857 ...ok...consistent...both of them playing in every match so far this season. and wow, you don't call wilshere exciting??

as for us having 'mercenaries', that is just untrue. man city and Chelsea have mercenaries. arsenal have a complex wage structure so that our most senior players get paid the most, with an average wage of around 70grand a week, mercenaries would move on for greater riches, i.e adebiwhore. we have no romanian, no slovakian players.

  • @donnymcbonny No, but plenty of Africans and French, same thing as long as theyre foreign... foreign is foreign dumbass.

Everyone has foreign players, just arsenal more than most, which is a shame.

Wilshere is not the most exciting player in the league, not by a long way.

  • @Liverpool1857 yeah sure im the dumbass because i can distinguish between different nationalities.

i really don't see why it is a 'shame' that we have a lot of technically gifted foreign players, once again i would much rather them than some shit player like johnson.

No, but Wilshere is the most exciting young english talent, and you said 'i would like to see some exciting englishmen, the next Gerrard, Lampard, Michael Owen, Rooney'...

  • @donnymcbonny You really are the dumbass if you cant see that constant foreign players being brought in ruins the chances of young englishmen trying to get into teams.

Its a "shame" because these players are taking places which could be taken by englishmen, who could then play for england and perhaps we'd have a chance at tournaments with good new players.

And the most exciting young english player right now is not Wilshere, it is Adam Johnson by a long way...

  • @Liverpool1857 look, stop being a hypocrite by calling me a dumbass you silly little boy.

    a. my allegiance is with arsenal, not england

    b. if the players are good enough they will come through, as Wenger said, if you want players to come through and improve, you have to put them with other good technically gifted foreign players like wilshyboi, if you lump all the kick and rush rtards like shawcross together they will reach a certain level and stop

improve de coaching to make it more technical

  • @donnymcbonny Sounds like the sort of crap Wenger comes out with each year as an excuse for achieving nothing.

I dont care where your "allegiance" is, im sure you would have celebrated if England had won the world cup, i'd have thought that winning a cup would be a sight for sore eyes of an arsenal fan.

technically gifted - get over the phrase it means nothing...

and i see you dont respond to wilshit not being the best young player. Probably because you know he actually isnt.

  • @Liverpool1857 'wilshit'...you really are an immature little boy aren't you, i mean seriously how old are you?

Johnson is 23, Wilshere is 18...in 5 years i guarantee you wilshere will have overtaken Johnson in standing and skill, he is already far better at the same age. 23 really isn't very 'young' these days, that is just a few years from the average players prime. That is why Wilshere is a more exciting prospect than Johnson.

once again, of course i would have celebrated if england had won.

  • @donnymcbonny wilshyboi yeah thats cool as well... how old are you if you find that cool? 10, 11 at best...

23 is young, and i dont want your "guarantees", youll be wrong.

ahaha! nicely phrased: "exciting prospect"... he'll probably not improve and just be as shit as Walcott is right now.

Same old arsenal - give it a few more years, few more few more. keep on telling yourself that, Wenger will die waiting.

You sound like a fair weather fan... shame on you.

  • @Liverpool1857 yeah thats great, repeat my insult that really stings...

23 isn't as young as 18 retard, there is a five year difference and wilshere will be better in 5 years than johnson is now. 'he'll probably not improve'...seriously mate,

walcott is not shit, 4 goals in 3 games at the start of the season not to mention good recent england performances.

yeah cos you really have a good chance to win the champions league dont you!!!

we have a better chance than you hahahaha

  • @donnymcbonny a better chance to win 5 champions leagues in one year, thats too much bullshit, even from an Arsenal fan.

Yes i can see there is a 5 year age difference, well done on that one... its easy for liverpool fans to count to 5 you know.

They are both young, johnson is young and walcott is young also... you really are a bit argumentative... perhaps insecurities about the discussion itself?

Walcott scored 3 against blackpool, lets see him score against decent oppo then judge.

  • @Live... no shit, obviously i meant the c.l this year Einstein, so that just completely devalues your point.

now i know you're very proud you can count to five, but i wasnt comparing walcott and johnson, just saying to say walcott is 'shit' is just simplistic, a hatrick is a hatrick and he can only play who is infront of him, anyone who gets a hatrick in the premier league and who has performed well in the other games of the season simply cannot be classified as 'shit'

    again, living in the past

  • @donnymcbonny I think recognising past achievements is better than living in the future, hoping for silverware.

As for your season ticket, i doubt that exists, you've probably never been to the library or highbury.

Well if you are comparing Johnson and Wilshere then you have less chance of winning that argument than Walcott.

Not to mention Wilshere's imminent criminal record... assaulting 2 people was it... well he cant develop if he's in the nick for the next 3 years for something else...

  • @Liverpool1857 the past is gone mayte, liverpool really are the definition of shit. Northampton... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...dont get me wrong, liverpool have a good history. you are just a dollop of putrid stinking horse shit now and the best time is now, now is what matters.

'Not to mention Wilshere's imminent criminal record.', yet another display of your ignorance, he acted as a peacemaker if you actually read into anything about that...fool.

i went to whl tuesday, wilshere, 18 ran the show.

  • @donnymcbonny West brom are decent too HAHAHAHAHAHA.... carling cup defeat vs a league defeat, i know which i'd rather have, FA cup and higher are important, carling, no thanks.

I'm sure he can afford very good lawyers, and yes he definately acted as a peacemaker, not sure how breaking someones arm helps calm a fight down, i'd have thought that it intesifies and worsens the situation.

Yeah tottenham reserves were on song, really a good performance by tottenham. NOT.

  • @Liverpool1857 better than Northampton...well seeing as you care so much about the league, why are you, as things currently stand, in the relegation zone, and yes you have a game in hand, but fucks sake you are shit.

...that is just not true at all, so stop your lying as you're making yourself sound more and more stupid by the second, if you wanna talk criminals stevie g should be locked up right now for actual assault, not breaking up a fight.

...well the arsenal reserves put on a good show

  • @Liverpool1857 Blackpool HAHAHAHAHAHA...nob.

  • @Liverpool1857 how on earth is that an excuse for not winning anything?

'technically gifted - get over the phrase it means nothing...'...do you watch football?

and about your jibe about the lack of trophies, liverpool really arent in a position to talk...you are so shit, you rely so much on your only two good, albeit diving cunts, players. you are in the europa league...your finances are a mess etc. etc.

    THURSDAY NIGHT CHANNEL FIVE

are you a fully fledged retard or something?

  • @donnymcbonny You seriously think Arsenal can compete with Liverpool for trophies won?

Ill let you go right ahead and watch you start that argument, i wonder if you will be stupid enough to... Arsenal cannot compete with Liverpool for trophies, not now, not ever. Come back and argue when you have won 1 champions league trophy

ok, you enjoy your group stage of the Champions league, you wont win it, wont even get close... so well done on in being involved and not winning thats good fun

  • @Liverpool1857 ...no i dont you retard, arsenal ARE better than liverpool atm, even you cant deny that, where did you come last season? have you just sold one of your best players? where are you currently in the table? you arent even a champions league team so stop living in the past you twat.

'fairweather'...i have a season tick and regularly attend away matches, im going to Sunderland next week, maybe you are overcompensating for being a 'fairweather' yourself. idk.

  • accident, i wish the stupid whining arsenal fans would give it a break.

and wenger can shut his sour little mouth. Creep

  • @Liverpool1857 Have fun in the uefa cup

  • @Harritanman lol

  • he´s great coach

  • @eddy4544

    back to their best eh?

  • @SAMC1991 Shut up mate it was a dreadful challenge.

  • Comment removed

  • poor arsenal they the only team to have players injured by some one cunts . by the way hope ramsey comes back strong

  • @27Tom90 shawcross isnt a cunt he had a 50/50 chance of getting the ball and the ball happened to be moved just before he kicked it.

also he was crying because of what he had done and he went to go and see it ramsey was ok so if you ask me shawcross is far from being a cunt

  • @manutd233 shaw cross is an ex manure cunt... hes an asshole specifically taught by the fungusface....

  • @nirmit009 Why is he i mean in all fairness what did he do wrong he went to kick the ball and was beaten to it and unfortunately he got ramsey.

i bet if ramsey watches the incident even he will see that it was an accident

  • @manutd233

he could of pulled out. He was caught out of position and wanted him to feel the tackle. Poor challenge

  • its amazing how many people say that it wasnt a bad tackle, if someone gets their leg broken its a bad tackle end of story

  • @masterjosh127 yeah i agree, but, it was a fair challenge, but i think it was more clumsey than malicious from shawcross, I hope ramsey comes back strong and i hope he becomes a greatly sucsesful player :'D

  • @masterjosh127 people can break their legs by just running and getting their studs caught in the grass so of course someone can break their leg and it not be a bad challenge

  • yeah when was the last time you saw someone putting in a good hefty challenge on him. and if he is such a danger man why is no one tracking his predictable runs into the box. and why is it when he is standing in the box that he dosnt have to jump to win a header with a defender or 2 over 6ft standing beside him. look at every header he has scored this season and tell me if im wrong. defenders constantly back off him and inviite him to shoot its a joke. he should be getting nailed outside thebox

  • ferriera didnt break rooneys foot it was a metatarsal injury which he has a history of. and he didnt miss the world cup he played in it remember he got sent off against portugal for losing his girly temper and stamping on carvalho. he definately wont get injured this season , cant remember the last time anyone has put a decent tackle in on him. why do you think he is scoring so many goals.

  • so wait wayne rooney is scoring goals because players arent putting in proper tackles on him?

is that seriously what you are saying?

  • Aaron goodluck to you)))

  • Wenger doesn't show any class here, just bitterness.

It was simply what is known as a "hospital ball" and on the plus side, a savage break like this, football is one of the best supporting for a recovery, think of the average person having the same injury.

Pulis handled the situation much better, this is co-incidence for Wenger, yet he has to find some malice behind it.

  • firstly i am an arsenal fan, but i agree that was a hospital ball. in a 50-50 like that you have to commit, anyone who has played knows that. ramsey has tried to nick the ball away and as a result shawcross' block challenge has hit his shin. you cant blame shawcross for this injury really, its just one of those things. however i would disagree that wenger doesnt show any class here, he's just upset that one of his young lads has suffered a career threatening injury. Get well soon Aaron!

  • I feel for ramsey but it was a 50-50 chalenge and Shawcross did not mean it. Wenger was wrong to come out and say that about Shawcross who has one of the best disciplinary records in the premiership for a deffender. football is a contact sport and these terible injuries can happen.

  • I, as an Arsenal fan, wouldn't be anywhere near as angry about the challenge if it had just broken one bone in Ramsey's leg, however when you go in late, for a 50/50, making it more like a 30/70 against you, with enough force to smash through someone's tibia and fibula, then you've crossed a line.

  • Still wondering why you retard english never won a world cup? You can't play football, look at all those brainless explaining that it's part of the game. You're a bunch of animals.

  • What a gigantic myopic Vulcan cunt.

  • no matther what you all people say that it's ramsey fault...the referee knows better than you all

  • Poor Arsene appears to have been crying. Bless.

  • anyone who makes comments such as "it was a 50/50 challenge, get over it" are either talking complete nonsense or have never played a game of football in their life.

  • wow. peoples comments always amaze me in terms of their ridiculous nature. obviously only a reckless and dangerous tackle can cause an injury like that. it's the fact thats its studs up, late and not getting any part of the ball thats the problem. any challenge of that nature should receive red and suspension. those tackles are dangerous and need to be outlawed from the game.

  • wenger whinging again , of course i'm sorry for ramsey , but shawcross is not a dirty player and he went for the ball , the ref was only giving a free kick until he realised how bad the injury was and sol cambell doing his impresssion platoon , wenger's comments help no one the lad is still injured, teams play rough against aresnal and they are entittled to as long as they play within the rules , so wenger will just have to axcept these things and stop talking nonsense

  • Wenger is a French onion twat and always thinks players are out to injure his players, it was a fair challenge and one guy was unfortunate to break his leg, Shit happens its a football game and ppl get ingured.

  • arsenal are good but there not the best. everyone knows there not going to make it into the top 2 let alone winning the premier league. they always cruse past teams like stoke but never utd or chelsea, so there 4 why dosn't chelsea or utd get these injery as comern as arsenal. no ones out to get them it was a 50 50 ball and it was bad luck.

  • Wenger never said that teams go out to injure his players. What he said was that Teams tend to be more rough on Arsenal than they are with other teams and that is a proven fact. Whats more Wenger hasnt said anything wrong in this interview, he hasnt accused Shawcross of trying to injure Ramsey so i dont know why people are chatting shit about how "Wenger is whining".

  • One more thing, how can you be so sure that Arsenal wont win the league? Chelsea (who are top of the league) are only 3 points ahead and they still have to play Aston Villa and go to Old Trafford and Anfield which are places they lost last season. Manchester United still have to play at Eastlands (Manchester City) who lets face it, were robbed out of a draw at Old Trafford and showed that they have what it takes to beat united and they have to play Liverpool who beat united earlier in the season

  • dont think the tackle was a bad 1 both players have gone in for the ball and every1 knows that when you go in for a tackle bad things can happen hope ramsey gets well soon

  • Yea!!! and people are forgetting.....he NEVER won the ball...he went straight through the man!!! Errr thats why he got a RED CARD!! FFS!!

  • Ridiculous of you all to pass such unworthy statements! Wenger is merely putting a point forward: 3 serious, career threatening injuries in 5 years!! What would you call it? Coincidence? Bad luck? Come on people... let's get real. Other clubs take on Arsenal in an extreme manner always trying to physically outplay them. This uni-dimensional approach has yielded in a talented 19 year old's foot being broken. Malice or not... Ramsey suffers the brunt of the overt physical response of other teams.

  • i totally agree with you. i am sick and tired of stupid comments like some of the ones below who dont really listen to what Wenger has actually said in this interview. at no point in the interview did Wenger say that the tackle was a deliberate attempt to injure Ramsey. what he basically said was that inferior teams like stoke set out to rough Arsenal up a bit and its true.

  • Come on give me a break. Tackling is a part of football, and Stoke play like that against every team because that's how they've had success. Its hardly "extreme" to expect to be allowed to challenge for the ball. Arsenal need to grow some balls and Wenger needs to stop being such a whinging French bastard and accept that accidents happen.

  • You don't need to challenge with so much force that you can break both bones in someone's leg. That's not football, it's a fucking disgrace.

  • with coments like that wenger its no wonder everyone hates you. you have always been a little moening french bitch. arsenal play great football the best in the world sometimes but i dont think players or any other person wants to see your legs broken. come down from your high horse and have a day off. wish ramsy a speedy recovery and hopefully he will be back next year.

  • HAHA soon British football will be like american football they should all wear helmets and pads

  • has he broke his leg ? It as a hard tackle but I don`t think that shawcross was out of order .

  • i think you'll find the bbc got this right (for a change) pure accidental. Wenger is totally out of order to blame the england defender but what do you expect from the french they couldn't defend their own country PAH

  • Comment removed

  • Wenger never blamed Shawcross, or claimed that it was intentional. He just said it was unacceptable.

  • who gives a fuck if it was an accident?! he was stupid and wreckless and cue the sob stories from stoke, hes not that kind of lad...Bullshit, francis jeffers and adebayor would say different but lets all feel sorry for shawcross who will go and play for england now while ramsey is out for 12months

  • im beginning to really hate wenger. any person with a brain cell could tell that tackle was an accident apart from him. i hope they fuck up the title challenge now, i felt sorry for em losin another player till he started talkin shit. what goes around comes around. rememberin the days when they were untouchable from refs wen they dived cheated crowded refs dirty tackles and got away with it n went unbeaten. the porto result was karma

  • Wenger didnt say that Shawcross meant to break ramsey's leg. what he said was that it was a bad tackle and he is right. He also said that inferior teams are a bit more rough on Arsenal than they are with other teams and that again is true

  • its a mans game tackles like tht happen all the time. ramsey had his studs in the ground before the tackle.

  • if shawcross had tackled ramsay the way he should then ramseys would never of broke his leg. the fact is shawcross foot was about 10 inches of the ground when infact his foot should of been on the ground like ramsey's was.

  • oh so patrick vieira never did tackles like tht. bullshit arsenal are well known for bein dirty.

  • Dont get me wrong Veira use to make a few silly tackles but that was so long ago. I dont know why you bringing up a player who left a]Arsenal about 4-5 years ago. Plus if you look at Arsenal right now they are not as physical as the old Arsenal and you are wrong, Arsenal are not known for being a dirty team, that was the old Arsenal where as this Arsenal is know for playing good fluent football and are arguably the best team to watch in Europe

  • gallas nearly took mark davises foot off the other week. i didnt hear arsenal fans complaining then

  • yah, but pundits and the media were tearing gallas apart. in contrast to the english shawcross, the "nice guy."

  • Wenger came out and admitted that it was a badly miss timed tackle. I can tell you didnt read the comments on skysports about that because there was alot of Arsenal fans who admitted that Gallas was lucky not to be sent off.

  • Actually as soon as I (and presumably many other gooners) saw that challenge I said that he should've had a red card.

Also note that whilst Gallas' challenge was clumsy and dangerous, he didn't go in with so much force that it broke two bones in the opposition players leg.

The tackle was much lower, and whilst still being a bad challenge, much more controlled than Shawcross' rediculous out-of-control swipe!

  • man the old arsenal were never dirty physical yes, but not dirty and never heard of them breaking legs or severely injuring anyone. it was the useless media as usual branding them dirty it is fact that a very high percentage of the media either support man utd or liverpool and it is obvious as fuck and is reflected in their biased columes.

  • man you can not compare viera to this clown. viera was never a dirty player and did he ever break any other players legs or injure them badly. it was the english media that branded him dirty along with petit because both of these guys where over powering the weaker english players. english football has always prided itself as one of the most physical in europe. and the fact that 2 french players where showing them up didnt go down well so the media showed its bias to foreign players again.

  • ur an arsenal fan. its a shockin tackle to all u lot but to the rest of the world its an accident. not shawcrosses fault ramsey snapped like a little twig ive seen tackles with way more force n no injuries n nothin said. get over it arsenal fairys its a mans game tackles go in all the time. its twats liek wenger makin stupid comments turnin this game into a non contact sport. fuck him

  • it is very hard to say if it is a bad tackle or not you cannot say 100% that it is an accident and likewise i cannot say that it is a bad tackle. its very hard to tell from all the vids and the stills all look different. but one thing we can agree on is the biased media trying to say shacross is an angel that is total shite. and we know exactly what the media would be saying if a foreign player ever did this do golden boy wayne rooney and especially this being world cup yr

  • well paulo ferriera did break rooneys foot b4 a world cup and nothin was made of tht so what ur sayin is shit.

  • you are actually right about that. i stand corrected

  • i dont know but i think february hates arsenal

eduardo and ramsey get injured in february

  • yea, =( Ramsey's injury was 2 years and 4 days ago eduardo's injury =( very sadly

  • Fair 50 50 tackle, the ball was inbetween the two players, they both went for it as they should, ramsey came of worst, it could have gone the other way, i dont see it even as a yellow card, its just a 50 50 tackle.

  • you are a fucking idiot...

  • Dont be a wanker and insult people behind the safety of your pc asshole, everyone is entitled to an opinion, its not my problem that you know NOTHING at all about football, go and do something usefull like collect and bin the dogshit of your lawn , if you have one.

  • Yea, If u were in ramsey's situation would you say.

"aaah you know it was a 50 50 challenge, I don't think he deserved to get the red card... Sure I broke my leg, I don't think thats a yellow card either actually... Yea sure I was way to fast for him and still he goes in with full power even though anyone ANYONE could see that I was to fast for him."

God fucking dammit searh for his name and you will see more challenges like that of him. Shawcross is a fucking idiot, and you to!

  • There are lots of players who are real dirty all the time, a lot worse than shawcross, what i saw was a 50 50m tackle, if you look on you tube most people think the same, so my friend i am not an idiot, obviously you are an arsenal fan , are you german too ?? the way you write you are not english, find others ways to express your opinion, not by insulting others !!

  • ramsey was just quicker than shawcross and shawcross had no chance of pulling out in that split second, it was an accident if he hadnt of broke his leg he may have only got a yellow at most

  • I agree. spot on mate.

  • 50/50 challenge my arse.

LOOK AGAIN. Ramsey's leg is planted on the ground at the moment of impact with Shawcross' leg which is swinging like a baseball bat. Shawcross was committed and couldn't pull out even if he wanted to. And I seriously doubt he wanted to.

Shawcross made a deliberate tackle. He could not POSSIBLY have known whether he would meet the ball or the player as he did so.

Reckless. So he's upset. He should be. Maybe he'll learn how not to break players legs in future.

  • its terrible what happend to ramseys leg but its wasnt a bad tackle. 50/50 tackle.

He shouldnt have been sent off and was clearly devastated

  • its bullshit, there goes our next fabregas, he wont be nothing on what he's supposed to be now. if he ever plays again and whether shawcross intended to get the ball or the player no premiership footballer should be that fucking clumsy to snap a 19 year olds leg and ankle. nob!

  • No player would delibarately break anothers leg, you could see as he walked off how much it affected Shawcross. Yes it sucks that Ramsey will be out for so long but no blame should be directed at anyone.

  • it was a 50/50 challenge any chance of arsene wenger opening his eyes

  • Did nt think the tackle was that bad.

just ashame that his legged was planted

when the stoke player came in

  • I feel bad for him but the tackle didn't look like it was meant to hurt anyone; just very bad luck. Wenger's being his typical whiny self not acknowledging this. It's obviously not a conspiracy just a side-effect of playing teams with less combined muscles than Rooney's forearm.

  • let me guess united fan. you cant say nothing about whinging with ferguson.
