Wait, you think Itachi was never evil just because he left his brother alive? He still murdered everyone, despite it being an order. Just because he loves his brother doesn't negate the fact that he eradicated an entire group of people. He's not even a lesser of two evils now, he's just as bad as the people who gave him the order. Don't misunderstand me though, Itachi is still my favorite character after 3 years, but I adore him because he loves his brother and because he's morally ambiguous.
