If you believe a gun law will work you should put your money were your mouth is at. If it gets some one hurt because of the gun laws, the persons that voted to pass the law they (personally) get pay to make the person whole. There should be laws to prevent people from selling their legitimately owned guns to anybody without any prior check. If you have to do it with new guns at a gun store, it's only reasonable to expect the same safety measures in the 2nd hand market.
