Wow um... Seriosly gay marriage, you're still freaking out over gay marriage. In a society where 50 percent of straight marriages fail you're worried about gay marriage. Line up 10 gay couples and 10 straight, see which is more successful. They have to fight so hard to be married that It's more special than it is to people who just think, hey if it doesn't work out I'll just get a devorse
THE CATHOLIC CHURCH SHOULD NOT BE PROMOTING HATRED AGAINST ANY GROUP! INCLUDING HOMOSEXUALS!! IT REDUCES THE CHURCH TO THE STATUS OF A CULT OF NAZI-PIGS NOT A VIABLE RELIGION!!
@randywj The church does not like any act that is not for the creation of children, or a sexual union between a husband and wife in other words, its asking you not to be in the least bit perverted, and to have sex to have children. not for the earthly pleasures of this world.
in other words, your looking at this as everyone is going to sin, they are saying everyone is better then this.
I grew up in the Roman Catholic church. I never did then and still do not understand to this day why all the "good" catholics I grew up with will without thought vote for the party of Abortion, the party opposed to Jesus Christ every election. The number of democrat politicians that cling to the catholic church at election time to get elected and then return to DC to destroy the Christian faith is just sickening.
@unc68 Those people who vote for "choice" excommunicate themselves! no longer should you call them catholic knowing this. but bring them back to the Faith.
First the shot at gay marriage...how on earth is that a threat to life? I mean really! Gay couples are able to have children just like hetero couples can!
Next we were not founded by Catholicism, our country was founded by people ESCAPING religious persecution!
If this ad is about preserving life why on earth are you showing a war? Logic would dictate that wars are AGAINST life because they kill people!
This whole ad is ridiculous, are you really going to base your morals on a church with such a checkered past? (the crusades, simony in the middle ages, the forgery of The Donation of Constantine to name a few)
@sadisticXvampyre Yes - our morals based on the Teaching Authority of the Church as has been handed on for 2 millenia. We may not always understand, nor always obey (our propensity to sin) - but its hard to argue against the accumulated wisdom of a 2000 year old institution when it comes to the teaching on Faith and morals. I won't comment on myth's u tout as the church's past. I agree the church is full of sinners - that's why it exists; not 2 celebrate the sin, but grow closer to God.
@sadisticXvampyre These people are so diluted in guilt and ideology, they haven't got a clue to what is morally and ethically right anymore. My only hope is that they become enlightened as to what being human is all about or die off like dinosaurs.
Thanks for the video! I remember taking a stand for pro-life and still am today.
The United States of America must understand that abortion claims over 40 million unborn babies since Roe vs. Wade in 1973, and we have lost the potential from these precious human beings. We don't want other people to commit the same mistake in the next generation.
I am glad that religious conservatives are taking pro-life seriously.
How is it that such a secularly founded nation -- the very basis of it's beginnings caused by the need for emancipation from religious totalitarianism -- could end up so deeply dogmatic and unaware of injustice?
Everyone will say that this country is a Christian one; that it was founded on the principals of monotheism, but not a single one of the founding fathers was a Christian, let alone supported the infusion of church and state.
Have your beliefs, but don't impose them on anyone else.
One person's moral code is not everyone else's law. If you must restrict other's rights as free individuals, then you deserve to have yours restricted.
I am not a Catholic, I do not follow Catholic preachings, I will never follow Catholic preachings, and I have every right to do as I please. So do you.
telling people who they can hire/fire and for what reasons is imposing a moral code also. making us pay for welfare, and the U.N., and the drug war, is also imposing ur values on us.
You obviously have read nothing written by the founding fathers. Even Thomas Payne, a self-professed atheist, stood for moral values that he reached through reason and philosophy - morals nearly identical to Judeo-Christian values. This common knowledge that the framers were not Christian is completely false. Don't rely on your professors or friends to learn truth, you must find it yourself and it is a lot of work.
No one is "imposing." Non-Christians come to their political conclusions from a non-Christian perspective. We Christians come to our political conclusions from a Christian perspective. How is one more legitimate than the other?
"Religious liberty might be supposed to mean that everybody is free to discuss religion. In practice it means that hardly anybody is allowed to mention it." - G.K. Chesterton
As an atheist, I do not impose atheist values on everyone else. There is no such thing as atheist values -- atheism is a blank slate. Your religion by nature wishes to spread itself. Doing that through any means that isn't forceful -- public speaking, handing out flyers, inviting friends to church -- is perfectly fine. But you cannot do it through law. The claims of any holy text are unproven and it is a personal choice to follow them.
(part 3 of my comment) why is it that religions can believe crazy things like virgin births and walking on water. if i told someone that i walked on water the other day they would think i'm crazy, please charliedip explain this to me i'm curious. answer my question don't give a dumb excuse like "you don't have complete sentences so i don't know how to read anymore" like you did with dillpickles89
(part 2 of my comment) sure the lessons religion has to tell are helpful like help your fellow man and stuff like that but they're just stories none of that even happened. religion is what is keeping this planet from moving forward. we have so many wars for what we believe is god. if there is religion then there will be prejudice.
Equality will be complete for everyone when religion is completely removed from our government. Get your religious ideology out of my constitution! What works for you doesn't work for the everyone else!
You pretty much just said "I know you are but what am I". Which when said by a preschooler is acceptable. However it just makes you sound like a tool.
I'm not going anywhere. P.S- the dog wags the tail, not the other way around. This is a Christian nation; no minority group or little youtoober (like you) will ever change that. The only reason I establish a reprisal for your one liners is so you understand peace loving people will not be bullied by atheist who practice a very selfish suppressive naivete form of doctrine.
First off, that doesn't make any sense, and I seriously doubt you know what that idiom really means. Secondly if this is a christian nation we are obviously not peace loving people. Maybe you should read some history and catch up. Your argument to why you are responding is self-contradictory. You can't resist response because your methodology is on the way out. More and more Americans are becoming atheist not christian. This shift in America is making people like you quite desperate.
I've been reading your argument, charliedip seriously, peaceful? we are not a peaceful people. just walk outside at night in New York and you'll find out pretty quick that human beings are selfish at heart. and honestly we have more evidence that there is life on mars than that god exists. actually we have no evidence that god exists. we have evidence that jesus existed but that doesn't mean there gods real. jesus could have made it all up,
Same old athiest mantra. I'm just glad I invoked your conscience from a comment I made a long time ago; must of been pretty good eh?
P.S - There's more evidence that God exists over the assertion that there is no God. The human mind is capable of reason, some day you will find the Truth. But no one is going to convince you of that, especially over youtube or with the state of mind your in.
Legal abortion is wrong, and illegal abortion is wrong. Whether women have illegal abortion does not make it morally right to legalize abortion... You don't "fix" bad living and choices with more bad living and choices.. instead you start living rightly, if your goal is to live well. Money is not required for a beautiful childhood---parental love is required, and that is free. It is as easy as deciding to give love, to learn how to give love (get help if necessary), and then to love.
lets just pretend that I'm a whore and I get pregnant, but i can't get an abortion because people like you don't want women to make their own decisions. Just because you forced me to have the baby doesn't mean that i'm going to want to give it love or change my ways. so basically your just making more babies that grow up into whores or druggies or thieves or murderers because the baby grew up in the wrong background.
honestly iv seen many people in my life suffer b/c they had an abortion OR b/c they didnt! marcospakk has a point, its a persons choice, tho I dont think it is a good one and am personaly opposed to it. But if we make abortion illegal then we should make the death sentence illegal too b/c that is also murder! I do belive God is the only person who has the right to take life away tho
Your ratiocinative prowess is very unbecoming (Dillpickles89). You must explain your opinions unless you want them to be considered baseless assertions. Complete sentences will help you in completing this, although, I presuppose this will be quite an arduous undertaking by someone who ends there comments with the word "idiot".
Well, when one acts like an idiot it is very called for. :)
So, answer my question. Are rape victims that get an abortion whores? I mean gee, they are totally not innocent! They must have been asking for it! Go to hell.
Incomplete sentences, name calling, and digressing with pseudo intelligence is indicative of an adolescent character trait. This in return furthermore, warrants no reply; unless you atleast, want to act as an adult.
I can see that you have no real reply to my question, because you know I am right. Your brain must not be able to comprehend it. Is it hard for you to see someone else's way of thinking? Come on now, think REAL hard!
Why do you presume on my behalf in the thought that you're right concerning your inextricable impertinent question hereto. All the while concerning my alleged incomprehensibility to sufficiently acquire what you've proffered presents an inextricable conundrum on you're behalf in which is ultimately contradictory.
Too bad many Americans have lost their morals and faith. The laziness of society will breed hate and greed until none are left. This nation needs REAL hope and REAL change. Not hope masquerading in the form of a far left liberal dead-set on killing off America's next generation.
My heart now aches for the murdered unborn of the past and into the future. What a bad set of values the American people have. WATCH OUT AMERICA GOD IS NOT HAPPY.
abortion is murder... you are taking a life. So since I can't murder people by choice, is that nazism too? If i want to off my children, do I not have that right?
Jesus must weep at Catholic deception for millions around the world, FALSE doctrine / tradtion and NOT Scripture. Paedophile priests who have abused children around the world. Republicans achieved NOTHING in 8 yrs- abortion STILL goes on, billions spent on an ILLEGAL war, world economy in ruins thanks Bush, Cheney, Blair and the other neo Nazi conservatives who should be tried for international war crimes in killing hundreds of thousands of civilians.
dude what the hell? people like you CrazyforJesus12 are what is ruining this world today. you are so ignorant that you think that anything non-christian is wrong. think about this have you ever noticed that a lot of the stuff you believe in would be considered bullshit and crazy if it weren't religious. I mean honestly you belief that a snake can talk? also a virgin birth, that's impossible!
Actually, those arguments like Virgin Birth are not only Religious but are scientific. St Thomas Aquinas clearly states that Theology IS a science. Impossible you say? That's not true. In fact, nothing is impossible about a supreme Creator and actually is very possible. If indeed He did Create everything out of nothing then a virgin birth seems that difficult to believe? I don't mean this in a condescending way: think outside the box and use reason as your friend on this journey.
Its not about whether or not you believe in everything in the bible. It's as simple as right and wrong. if anything religion has given us a code of morality, and in the history of man no moral code has ever found abortion to be acceptable other than the Socialist Party currently in controll of the United States and Europe. You may not believe in a virgin birth, but you there is a point at which you must destiguish between what is religous and what is simply moral.
wow, one of the top most ignorant comments i've ever seen, thanks for your not so wise words safrane95
exactly what are our false scriptures and doctrines? is it wrong to have REAL and TRUE traditions? we did achieve somethings in the past 8 years. i like how you call catholics nazis when you are the one upholding nazi beliefs. oh and i'm sorry that you don't have enough convictions to get you through life, poor soul
I find it interesting how they imply you should vote against Obama (who is well known to be pro-choice) by continually repeating the theme of family (and its need for consistency - not allowing gay marriage) and 'life'.
And then, in the lastest clip, they use his story as motivation for women not to chose abortion. Very interesting reversal indeed.
You make me sick, were in an economic melt down as a result of poor moral values: greed, selfishness and bad judgment. I'm going to ask you a straight forward question do you think the economy is in ruins because Americans aren't working hard enough?, hell no, its because of greed and major corporation malpractice. So abortion is important because if you choose to ignore your moral obligations in respect to life then you might as well get out of the way because your only making matters worse.
You make me sick, were in an economic melt down as a result of poor moral values: greed, selfishness and bad judgment. Well, I've decided to take a step back from this quibble of yours which led me upon an interesting revelation. You're concentration of interest's has deviated away from the primordial allegation regarding my usage of the pres. elects name in its entirety. I really do not blame you for this though, being you hold very little capital in this predisposed pretext from hereinbefore. So, if you want to stray from the subject matter and look for possible, syntactical irregularities,- (Cont. below)
(Resumed from above) -I myself could find just as much substantial divulgence within your own methodical compositions. Although such a reprisal seems charming it is only destructive to the ultimate reprised subject matter. After we finish this I would really like to progress towards your almost comical assertion of democrats being the lesser evil, you also have not explained how I twisted Obamas name around; I suppose in due time we might get there.
Funny that you accuse me of straying from the subject. I wrote "If there is any other reason to call Barack Hussein Obama "Obama Hussein" than to make a reference to a certain ex-dictator or Muslim people in general then please enlighten me." And you are just avoiding to do that. And my interesting revelation is that your basic Englisch gets worse the more you try to sound sophisticated. It must read "your concentration of interests" not "you're concentration of interest's" as you wrote...
Here we are back at the beginning,I was afraid of that.'Barack Hussein Obama' is a axiom, there is no explanation due.If you referred to his predecessor as'George Walker Bush'I,or no one else would ever suggest that you were insinuating an insult.People with good ratiocinative properties understand it is only for 'proper' clarification. As of now your only dog in this fight is relying on my self to make simple grammatical errors to divulge in them and assist you in your well known filibustering.

You should read your own postings, Charlieboy. You didn't use Obama's given name "Barack Hussein Obama", you changed the order into "OBAMA HUSSEIN" - and it makes no sense at all to switch around middle and last name. Therefore I asked for an explanation. Yes, I can imagine that you probably did this in the poor effort to make it sound like 'Saddam Hussein' but I gave you the benefit of the doubt. And what do I get? The accusation of filibustering by Captain Filibuster himself. Makes me smile.

Since it's so much fun to correct someone who likes to sound like he has lots of ratiocinative properties (love that one) at his disposal: It is "an axiom", not "a axiom". Also wrong is "relying on my self", not just because "myself" is only one word but it's wrong in the grammatical context. You can use "myself" only if the sentence's subject refers to you as speaker/writer. "My only dog...is relying on myself to..." would work fine. Here it should be "Your only dog...is relying on ME to...".
That and knowing that you are fascinated by my vocabulary and able to learn from it is quite a treat. P.S.) Parsing my writings by use of your arbitrary intellect does not make me look bad. It only clarifies your mean spirited intentions especially when you make these intentions known. (Part3)
Ouch! Calling my intentions "mean spritited" because I am pointing to your grammatical and ortographical errors to put your stilted choice of words into perspective and have a little harmless fun is kind of overshooting the issue (and hurting my gentle soul). And be honest: You did even profit from it since it seems that you paid more attention to your writing in your latest posts. Getting corrected by a non-native speaker is just the best stimulation to work on one's grammar. :-)
I also posted the following and you passed over it again:"Sorry, Charlie, but you didn't answer my question even one time. But since you claim that you did so it shouldn't be a problem to do so one more time in a clear and unambiguous way. Just be a good, non-lying Catholic (which I assume you are) and explain the true and honest reason you called your next president "Obama Hussein". No deviations, no counterquestions. Just that." However, if you can't or won't do, that's answer enough, I guess.
Just because your hero happens to have a very suspicious name, it is no reason for you to imply that others may be thinking within those same indicative terms. Sure the thought passes through the minds of many but this in no way contributes directly towards our object in his intrinsicalness; unless that is, of course, the perceiver finds within them an undeniable cause by the objects actions a cause for suspicion in comparison to a former ex dictator.
You know, even though defying truth may help you sleep tonight. In the long run it will unfortunately greatly disturb your mind and soul. I'm not going to recapitulate this discourse for further evaluation so please re-read my rebuttal from many instances before; they were unequivocally clear and as plain as the nose on your face.
Smart as you are, you probably know about your role as "sender" in this kind of over-simplified communication schema of yours. And the question is, what the sender's intentions were when formulating the message. But as I suspected: You won't reveal these intentions because then you would admit your hypocrisy. All you've done since the beginning of this discussion is trying to steer it away from your person and your true intentions. Concealing the truth comes close to lying, don't you think?
In order to postulate and hold me fast to such an inextricable conundrum would require the ability to perceive my innermost being, which you are unable to do unless I reveal it willingly; of course. I will say it is good to hear my writings make you smile, that alone makes it all worth while. (Part 2)
Lol. Well, I'm going to be as gentle and succinct as possible. For starters I have already answered your question multiple times; it's just not the answer you wanted to hear. Sure, I wrote "Obama Hussein" but how does this structuring render a reference thereto 'Saddam Hussein'? Such an undertaking as yours, with unwarrantable boldness, by such an inane accusation, primarily reveals a being with totalitarian values. (Part 1)
Sorry, Charlie, but you didn't answer my question even one time. But since you claim that you did so it shouldn't be a problem to do so one more time in a clear and unambiguous way. Just be a good, non-lying Catholic (which I assume you are) and explain the true and honest reason you called your next president "Obama Hussein". No deviations, no counterquestions. Just that.
And no, my little corrections aren't filibustering, since I asked my question some while ago (again: Was there any other reason for you to switch around Obama's middle and last name to "OBAMA HUSSEIN" than to make a reference to a certain ex-dictator or Muslim people in general?) and I am still waiting for a clear and honest answer from you. Correcting errors in your posts is just my way of killing time until then - and it makes you look bad of course. ;-)
So, if you know his first, middle and last name in the right order, why are you messing with it, calling him "Obama Hussein"? Do you refer to his predecessor as "Bush Walker"? Is there maybe the sligthest chance, you want to make a very lame connection to a certain Ex-Dictator from Iraq? Serves prejudices well... which gets us back to hate mongering...
All you're doing here is attempting to obviate a presupposed attack on Obama from the undeniable axiom which is his name.
If you juxtaposition the entailed hate mongering against the president and the elect you'll have to thwart realized attacks on Bush just as the presupposed on Obama for your pseudo-hate mongering to carry any validity.
In other words you cannot isolable one attack (especially one of perplexiveness as yours) then not bring the viable attack's on Bush to light.
You are entertaining, Charlie, playing the big words card to hide the emptiness of your arguments. Your verbal attack on Obama isn't presupposed, because you twisted his name around with the only and obvious purpose to use it against him. Why are you too gutless to admit it now? And I think it is pretty much acceptable to attack Pres. Bush for all the evils and stupidities he has done. Obama on the other hand deserves a chance without being insulted by prejudiced and crestfallen Republicans.
I'm sorry, but I refuse to talk to someone as if they are five years old just so they will not assume empty thoughts from my self. Now, speaking of emptiness, your argument is empty unless you can explain these two recent assertions made by YOU. 1) "You twisted his (Obama) name around with the only and obvious purpose to use it against him." 2)"Pres. Bush for all the evils and stupidities he has done." Until you can bring these to clarity your entire intention here is useless; simple enough?
Using phrases even a linguistic professor on drugs wouldn't use in a casual discussion has nothing to do with adult talk. It's rather silly. And about my "assertions": 1) If there is any other reason to call Barack Hussein Obama "Obama Hussein" than to make a reference to a certain ex-dictator or Muslim people in general then please enlighten me. 2) Just watch/read some media not owned by Rupert Murdoch. Geez, do I really have to explain the damage Bush & Co. did to the world and your country?
Also, I don't argue by party line's, I argue by principle's; you might want to try it sometime.
Now about this supposed error of mine in the use of the word 'isolable', hmmm. I'm not going to correct my enemies so they can do more harm but you may want to stick to your native language.
Since I am not even US citizen I don't care much about American party lines. In the end many politicians in both of the big parties are corrupt and driven by big business interests. But the Democrats are the lesser evil. And the Merriam-Webster Dictionary reads: "isolable, Function: adjective, capable of being isolated." And adjectives don't go well together with a modal auxiliary verb like "can". The verb "isolate" in conjunction with "can" would make more sense in you sentence.
I'm Roman Catholic and couldn't be happier about Obama/Biden winning this election. The Republican Party demonstrated over and over again that their politics are mostly guided by greed, lies, war and fear mongering, double moral standards, destroying the nature for profit and preferring big business over the people. Some of that will hopefully change. And don't kid yourselves: Abortions and homosexual engagements would also take place under a Republican Government...
If your cognition would have been working when Sarah Palin gave her speeches you would not make such an erroneous assertion as "abortions and homosexual engagements would take place under a republican government". Your comment in its entirety is geared to the lowest common denominator and is (unfortunately for you) perceived by an upright intellect to be a baseless attack by arbitrary discretion.
The specious good manner and equivocal speeches by Obama Hussein are indubitably clear.
God wants us to do it, he gives people free will, he gives the sinners the ability to sin.. yet those who sin against god will feel his wrath at there judgement.
That's quite an arduous paradox if it was true for the general populous. Although, this sort of cafeteria mentality concerning adoption is only viable within the realms of certain social groups. Most couples prefer children of their own race.
Don't forget that God is in control and there are reasons for everything; even if they are unknown to our finite cognition.
I will also note that you have quite a vicious manner in trying to make friends; being genuinely nice always seems to work.
THIS IS WHO YOU ARE: A FEARFUL PATHETIC HELPLESS UGLY BIGOT
hypocrite, devoted to your opinions and prejudices; one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance
;
I KNOW YOU ARE THE BIGGEST CLOSETED CASE ALSO;
WE HAVE TO DEPORT YOU TO IRAN IRAQ AND TO TALIBAN.
MAYBE THEN YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT FREEDOM MEANS.
I will tell you who WE are CORRECTLY. "Fearful" yes..of Murder in any aspect. "Pathetic and Helpless"...NEVER. As long as we have prayer. "Ugly Bigot". Well..yes I am intolerant of babies who are burned and tortured in the womb and anyone who wants to continue this barbaric act. Freedom does not mean free to KILL!! Look at your 10 commandments. GOD gave us rules to live by.
Thank you. I respect this. Because I do belive that you're a good person. And many Catholics are. I have them as my dear friends and we have very different views.
I know you are a Kind person. And that
qualifies you to be my firend. You stay well. And I wish you the same.

If a girl is raped by her father/brother, why should she have a baby that she never chose to have? That she never would have had if a family member didn't take advantage of her.
and stem cell research: if the embryos are already dead, WHY DOES IT MATTER?!
One human life is not decidement upon the sympathies (or lacking thereof) or preferences of another to live or die. How do you suppose those stem cells died? Do you think they were always dead?
Also you must not be familiar with the abortion rate alone in the U.S or the 'Freedom of choice act' which Obama vowed he would sign first thing once president. The blood of millions of babies will be on his hands if he follows through; quite literally.
if you are catholic and voted for obama, you completely denounced your faith. while it is easier to vote with your wallet than your heart, you must understand that abortion is non-negotiable in the catholic church. if you voted for obama, you have made a huge mistake.
67 million of us just let a man who supports abortion enter the white house.
Why can't people who don't want abortions, not have them? And at the same time, people who want them can get them? Pro choice leaves the decision up to the individual. Religious beliefs can't be pressed on people, it's wrong. Remember seperation of church and state?
If you think the right to life is purely a religious aspect then you should fall to your knees and pray that it will not one day be taken away from you.
I read a bumper sticker the other day that stated pithily "Your Mom was Pro Life" ; )
Yeah, I've seen those bumper stickers too. Look, I'm not saying " hey let's all have abortions!" I just want people to be able to make their own decisions when it comes to this matter. YOU CAN NOT TELL SOMEONE WHAT TO DO BASED ON YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEF. Seperation of Church and State anyone???
You read my last sentence (with listless dispositional response) yet seemed to skip the prior. The fundamental of the Pro Life cause concerns the axiom in being life distinguished from herein conception to natural death.
Your proposition of wanting a 'choice' to kill is not only Christianly denounced, it also is against the law/constitution. By you're inclination to choose death for another by arbitrary will you gratuitously infringe upon the victims 'right to life'.
And you missed my point, you CAN't press your own religious beliefs on others. If the Catholic church is endorsing a pro-life political decision, then it is violating the Seperation of Church and State. I agree that abortion is taking away a life, but it isn't your decision to make for someone.
No you are ill informed. If a non profit organization instructs you to vote for a particular candidate then there is the possibility that the I.R.S will investigate their non profit credibility.
The video never said who to vote for,it only asked you to keep in mind upright morals while voting.
Separation of church and state is not in play here. Also, like I stated before;one individuals choice to kill another infringes the right to life of the other by the individual.
haven't you forgotten that it's Catholic priests and bishops who have been exposed as abuses of young boys (and girls)?!?!?
As for me, I follow the teaching of Jesus to avoid titles of honor, beginning with "Father", and instead of abusing children, I have adopted 5, three of whom are severely handicapped, 1 so badly that she died at age 5.
Catholics aren't the ones to talk about the sanctity of life --when John McCain supports WAR, he isn't a man of god by any standard he promotes DEATH and destruction
"I do not respect Obama anymore than I do satan, and it is not unchristian... If we all prayed at the same time for advice from God, thunder would be heard as the skies opened up and a million stars spelled out "McCain is the one."
lukatmee now says, "I'm not a christian nor am I conservative. Been a democrat all of my life."
I say "register as anything but a Dem ASAP. And thank God you're not posing as a Christian! Are you here because you are a Catholic?
I am afraid, as a Christian clergyman, that the viciousness and stupidity of misquired "conservative Christians" like "lukatmee" is going to cause many intelligent people to reject Jesus Christ's teaching altogether.
But I am here to say that Jesus was one of the greatest LIBERAL teachers of all time, and I invite intelligent people everywhere to Google "LiberalslikeChrist" and see for themselves that following Jesus is anything but being uninformed and/or vicious!
I agree with everything you said. (I'm supporting McCain/Palin) We still as Christians need to respect and love the lost and pray unceasingly for them.
People have been dividing this country in many ways for a long time; Mr. Obama's ideas and views are nothing new, just more concentrated in one candidate for America's highest post. As for what will happen if Obama wins, God tells us throughout His Word what happens when His people "reject" His guidance...but He is in control never-the-less.
Because the Catholic hierarchy - as opposed to the majority of lay Catholics who know better - is so obsessed with THEIR OWN VIEW of abortion, they support the most corrupt of politicians just because they are the "pro-life" alternative. That was one of the reasons they supported one of their own, Roman Catholic Adolf Hitler, who was "pro-life", so long as it wasn't Jewish life (and anti-homosexual as well). If you don't believe me, just Google the one word "Hitlersfaith" and study the top site.
I didn't mean to post "I'm the product of 24 years of Catholic education, culminating in ordination to the priesthood." without the following:
I grew up under the shadow of Pope Pius. When I joined the Dominicans, I was given his name. But the higher to progressed in the hierarchy the more corruption I discovered. Explore the site I recommended in my post above and see for yourself what a pro-life conservative Catholic Adolf Hitler really was and how cooperative the Catholic hierarchy was.
Those mistakes in history are not a reflection of MCCAIN, however that mistake will repeat if OBAMA is elected. He has a history of radical friends, Farakaan has been referred to as Black Hitler, and others like Ayers, Rashid Khalidi, Malcolm X, who want to wipe whites, and jews off the face of the earth. Obama also supports infanticide. search illuminatitv for a movie called I Invented the Internet (Ep. 4: Kill and Destroy). The black liberation theology is a hitler mindset. Think, please.
Rayosun<-----"Roman Catholic Adolf Hitler, who was "pro-life", so long as it wasn't Jewish life (and anti-homosexual as well). If you don't believe me, just Google the one word "Hitlersfaith" and study the top site."
You just defined the definition of
'pro-choice' with your words quoted above.
Any upright individual understands evil is always a 'choice'.
Just remember that Liberty is a gift and power that extends even to the determination of our eternal and self-chosen destiny.
Faithful Catholics should vote for Alan Keyes! The only pro life (for real)and faithful Catholic running. Haven't heard about it? He's on the Independant ticket. Don't choose the "lesser of two evils"! McCain is no tru pro life candidate! Obamination is wicked. Vote Alan Keyes!
Mr. Obama is a human being just like we are. Yes, he is very misguided as are many others in this world are, but everyone deserves respect. Views differ, but we're all God's creation. The best thing we can do for Mr. Obama is pray that he'll know the truth.
documents prove that in 2003, Barack Obama, as chairman of an Illinois state Senate committee, voted down a bill to protect live-born survivors of abortion
National Right to Life strongly endorses McCain for President

IT REDUCES THE CHURCH TO THE STATUS OF A CULT OF NAZI-PIGS NOT A VIABLE RELIGION!!
randywj 1 year ago

Logic would dictate that wars are AGAINST life because they kill people!
sadisticXvampyre 1 year ago
This whole ad is ridiculous, are you really going to base your morals on a church with such a checkered past? (the crusades, simony in the middle ages, the forgery of The Donation of Constantine to name a few)
sadisticXvampyre 1 year ago

The United States of America must understand that abortion claims over 40 million unborn babies since Roe vs. Wade in 1973, and we have lost the potential from these precious human beings. We don't want other people to commit the same mistake in the next generation.
I am glad that religious conservatives are taking pro-life seriously.
TheCrystalyorkSenshi 2 years ago 3
How is it that such a secularly founded nation -- the very basis of it's beginnings caused by the need for emancipation from religious totalitarianism -- could end up so deeply dogmatic and unaware of injustice?
Everyone will say that this country is a Christian one; that it was founded on the principals of monotheism, but not a single one of the founding fathers was a Christian, let alone supported the infusion of church and state.
Have your beliefs, but don't impose them on anyone else.
poweredxbyxhope 2 years ago
One person's moral code is not everyone else's law. If you must restrict other's rights as free individuals, then you deserve to have yours restricted.
I am not a Catholic, I do not follow Catholic preachings, I will never follow Catholic preachings, and I have every right to do as I please. So do you.
Welcome to the real America.

telling people who they can hire/fire and for what reasons is imposing a moral code also. making us pay for welfare, and the U.N., and the drug war, is also imposing ur values on us.
lsucowboys99 2 years ago
You obviously have read nothing written by the founding fathers. Even Thomas Payne, a self-professed atheist, stood for moral values that he reached through reason and philosophy - morals nearly identical to Judeo-Christian values. This common knowledge that the framers were not Christian is completely false. Don't rely on your professors or friends to learn truth, you must find it yourself and it is a lot of work.

king george was not a religious totalitarian. the phrase was 'no taxation w/out representation'.
lsucowboys99 2 years ago
No one is "imposing." Non-Christians come to their political conclusions from a non-Christian perspective. We Christians come to our political conclusions from a Christian perspective. How is one more legitimate than the other?
"Religious liberty might be supposed to mean that everybody is free to discuss religion. In practice it means that hardly anybody is allowed to mention it." - G.K. Chesterton
Roboboogey1990 2 years ago
As an atheist, I do not impose atheist values on everyone else. There is no such thing as atheist values -- atheism is a blank slate. Your religion by nature wishes to spread itself. Doing that through any means that isn't forceful -- public speaking, handing out flyers, inviting friends to church -- is perfectly fine. But you cannot do it through law. The claims of any holy text are unproven and it is a personal choice to follow them.
Unlike your religion, this is not a Theocracy.

It is as easy as deciding to give love, to learn how to give love (get help if necessary), and then to love.
blooches 3 years ago
lets just pretend that I'm a whore and I get pregnant, but i can't get an abortion because people like you don't want women to make their own decisions. Just because you forced me to have the baby doesn't mean that i'm going to want to give it love or change my ways. so basically your just making more babies that grow up into whores or druggies or thieves or murderers because the baby grew up in the wrong background.
tje125 2 years ago
honestly iv seen many people in my life suffer b/c they had an abortion OR b/c they didnt! marcospakk has a point, its a persons choice, tho I dont think it is a good one and am personaly opposed to it. Legal abortion has saved women from the risk of illegal abortion.
Vatican never say this. But this is the true reason for the legal abortion: is a civil right.
The catholics can say "Woman, i ask you: don't abort!" But cannot say "All the woman has to do what I think that's right, with a law".
Is the difference between freedom and nazism.
marcospakk 3 years ago
abortion is murder... you are taking a life. So since I can't murder people by choice, is that nazism too? If i want to off my children, do I not have that right?
aayo3 3 years ago 2
If you don't allow choice to a woman, you constraint the woman to abort illegally. Hundred of women are died before legal abortion.
Then, you have two consequences: million of women in prison and hundred women DIED.

tje125 2 years ago

So, if you want to stray from the subject matter and look for possible, syntactical irregularities,- (Cont. below)
charliedip 3 years ago
(Resumed from above) -I myself could find just as much substantial divulgence within your own methodical compositions. Although such a reprisal seems charming it is only destructive to the ultimate reprised subject matter. After we finish this I would really like to progress towards your almost comical assertion of democrats being the lesser evil, you also have not explained how I twisted Obamas name around; I suppose in due time we might get there.
charliedip 3 years ago
Funny that you accuse me of straying from the subject. I wrote "If there is any other reason to call Barack Hussein Obama "Obama Hussein" than to make a reference to a certain ex-dictator or Muslim people in general then please enlighten me." And you are just avoiding to do that. And my interesting revelation is that your basic Englisch gets worse the more you try to sound sophisticated. It must read "your concentration of interests" not "you're concentration of interest's" as you wrote...
lukenorg 3 years ago

Here it should be "Your only dog...is relying on ME to...".
lukenorg 3 years ago
That and knowing that you are fascinated by my vocabulary and able to learn from it is quite a treat. P.S.) Parsing my writings by use of your arbitrary intellect does not make me look bad. It only clarifies your mean spirited intentions especially when you make these intentions known. (Part3)

Ouch! Calling my intentions "mean spritited" because I am pointing to your grammatical and ortographical errors to put your stilted choice of words into perspective and have a little harmless fun is kind of overshooting the issue (and hurting my gentle soul). Pt. 1)
Just because your hero happens to have a very suspicious name, it is no reason for you to imply that others may be thinking within those same indicative terms. Sure the thought passes through the minds of many but this in no way contributes directly towards our object in his intrinsicalness; unless that is, of course, the perceiver finds within them an undeniable cause by the objects actions a cause for suspicion in comparison to a former ex dictator.
charliedip 3 years ago
Pt.1 of 2 Correction-(The other is part 2)
You know, even though defying truth may help you sleep tonight. In the long run it will unfortunately greatly disturb your mind and soul. I'm not going to recapitulate this discourse for further evaluation so please re-read my rebuttal from many instances before; they were unequivocally clear and as plain as the nose on your face.
charliedip 3 years ago
Smart as you are, you probably know about your role as "sender" in this kind of over-simplified communication schema of yours. And the question is, what the sender's intentions were when formulating the message. But as I suspected: You won't reveal these intentions because then you would admit your hypocrisy. All you've done since the beginning of this discussion is trying to steer it away from your person and your true intentions. Concealing the truth comes close to lying, don't you think?
lukenorg 3 years ago
In order to postulate and hold me fast to such an inextricable conundrum would require the ability to perceive my innermost being, which you are unable to do unless I reveal it willingly; of course. I will say it is good to hear my writings make you smile, that alone makes it all worth while. (Part 2)
charliedip 3 years ago
(Part 1)
charliedip 3 years ago
Sorry, Charlie, but you didn't answer my question even one time. But since you claim that you did so it shouldn't be a problem to do so one more time in a clear and unambiguous way. Just be a good, non-lying Catholic (which I assume you are) and explain the true and honest reason you called your next president "Obama Hussein". No deviations, no counterquestions. Just that.
lukenorg 3 years ago
And no, my little corrections aren't filibustering, since I asked my question some while ago (again: Was there any other reason for you to switch around Obama's middle and last name to "OBAMA HUSSEIN" than to make a reference to a certain ex-dictator or Muslim people in general?) and I am still waiting for a clear and honest answer from you. Correcting errors in your posts is just my way of killing time until then - and it makes you look bad of course. ;-)
lukenorg 3 years ago
Calling your next President "Obama Hussein" says it all...hate mongering, name calling, lies...this has nothing to do with being a Christian.
lukenorg 3 years ago
"Hate mongering, name calling, lies"?
BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA is our president elects name! WISE UP; although you did give me a good laugh : )
charliedip 3 years ago
So, if you know his first, middle and last name in the right order, why are you messing with it, calling him "Obama Hussein"? Do you refer to his predecessor as "Bush Walker"? Is there maybe the sligthest chance, you want to make a very lame connection to a certain Ex-Dictator from Iraq? Serves prejudices well... which gets us back to hate mongering...
lukenorg 3 years ago
All you're doing here is attempting to obviate a presupposed attack on Obama from the undeniable axiom which is his name.
If you juxtaposition the entailed hate mongering against the president and the elect you'll have to thwart realized attacks on Bush just as the presupposed on Obama for your pseudo-hate mongering to carry any validity.
In other words you cannot isolable one attack (especially one of perplexiveness as yours) then not bring the viable attack's on Bush to light.
charliedip 3 years ago
You are entertaining, Charlie, playing the big words card to hide the emptiness of your arguments. Your verbal attack on Obama isn't presupposed, because you twisted his name around with the only and obvious purpose to use it against him. Why are you too gutless to admit it now? And I think it is pretty much acceptable to attack Pres. Bush for all the evils and stupidities he has done. Obama on the other hand deserves a chance without being insulted by prejudiced and crestfallen Republicans.
lukenorg 3 years ago
I'm sorry, but I refuse to talk to someone as if they are five years old just so they will not assume empty thoughts from my self. Now, speaking of emptiness, your argument is empty unless you can explain these two recent assertions made by YOU. 1) "You twisted his (Obama) name around with the only and obvious purpose to use it against him." 2)"Pres. Bush for all the evils and stupidities he has done." Until you can bring these to clarity your entire intention here is useless; simple enough?
charliedip 3 years ago

I'm not going to correct my enemies so they can do more harm but you may want to stick to your native language.
charliedip 3 years ago
Since I am not even US citizen I don't care much about American party lines. In the end many politicians in both of the big parties are corrupt and driven by big business interests. But the Democrats are the lesser evil. And the Merriam-Webster Dictionary reads: "isolable, Function: adjective, capable of being isolated." And adjectives don't go well together with a modal auxiliary verb like "can". The verb "isolate" in conjunction with "can" would make more sense in you sentence.

Serves prejudices well... which gets us back to hate mongering...
lukenorg 3 years ago 2
I'm Roman Catholic and couldn't be happier about Obama/Biden winning this election. The Republican Party demonstrated over and over again that their politics are mostly guided by greed, lies, war and fear mongering, double moral standards, destroying the nature for profit and preferring big business over the people. Some of that will hopefully change. And don't kid yourselves: Abortions and homosexual engagements would also take place under a Republican Government...
lukenorg 3 years ago
If your cognition would have been working when Sarah Palin gave her speeches you would not make such an erroneous assertion as "abortions and homosexual engagements would take place under a republican government". Your comment in its entirety is geared to the lowest common denominator and is (unfortunately for you) perceived by an upright intellect to be a baseless attack by arbitrary discretion.
The specious good manner and equivocal speeches by Obama Hussein are indubitably clear.

Are you aware of how many couples want children who naturally in themselves cannot procreate yet there is a lacking thereof by adoption.
Please go vent you're unwarranted, unrestrained rage elsewhere.

i agree. but they cave to be white or asians, right? another mess; so please tell your god to fix it; it can't. god doesn't like bigots

God wants us to do it, he gives people free will, he gives the sinners the ability to sin.. yet those who sin against god will feel his wrath at there judgement.
RockyBalboa211 3 years ago
That's quite an arduous paradox if it was true for the general populous. Although, this sort of cafeteria mentality concerning adoption is only viable within the realms of certain social groups. Most couples prefer children of their own race.
Don't forget that God is in control and there are reasons for everything; even if they are unknown to our finite cognition.
I will also note that you have quite a vicious manner in trying to make friends; being genuinely nice always seems to work.

If a girl is raped by her father/brother, why should she have a baby that she never chose to have? That she never would have had if a family member didn't take advantage of her.
and stem cell research: if the embryos are already dead, WHY DOES IT MATTER?!
topgirl999 3 years ago
One human life is not decidement upon the sympathies (or lacking thereof) or preferences of another to live or die. How do you suppose those stem cells died? Do you think they were always dead?
Also you must not be familiar with the abortion rate alone in the U.S or the 'Freedom of choice act' which Obama vowed he would sign first thing once president. The blood of millions of babies will be on his hands if he follows through; quite literally.
charliedip 3 years ago
if you are catholic and voted for obama, you completely denounced your faith. while it is easier to vote with your wallet than your heart, you must understand that abortion is non-negotiable in the catholic church. if you voted for obama, you have made a huge mistake.
67 million of us just let a man who supports abortion enter the white house.
think about that.
LamboK28992 3 years ago 4
Why can't people who don't want abortions, not have them? And at the same time, people who want them can get them? Pro choice leaves the decision up to the individual. Religious beliefs can't be pressed on people, it's wrong. Remember seperation of church and state?
Hondamxr13 3 years ago
If you think the right to life is purely a religious aspect then you should fall to your knees and pray that it will not one day be taken away from you.
I read a bumper sticker the other day that stated pithily "Your Mom was Pro Life" ; )
charliedip 3 years ago
Yeah, I've seen those bumper stickers too. Look, I'm not saying " hey let's all have abortions!" I just want people to be able to make their own decisions when it comes to this matter. YOU CAN NOT TELL SOMEONE WHAT TO DO BASED ON YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEF. Seperation of Church and State anyone???
Hondamxr13 3 years ago
You read my last sentence (with listless dispositional response) yet seemed to skip the prior. The fundamental of the Pro Life cause concerns the axiom in being life distinguished from herein conception to natural death.
Your proposition of wanting a 'choice' to kill is not only Christianly denounced, it also is against the law/constitution. By you're inclination to choose death for another by arbitrary will you gratuitously infringe upon the victims 'right to life'.
charliedip 3 years ago
And you missed my point, you CAN't press your own religious beliefs on others. If the Catholic church is endorsing a pro-life political decision, then it is violating the Seperation of Church and State. I agree that abortion is taking away a life, but it isn't your decision to make for someone.
Hondamxr13 3 years ago
No you are ill informed. If a non profit organization instructs you to vote for a particular candidate then there is the possibility that the I.R.S will investigate their non profit credibility.
The video never said who to vote for,it only asked you to keep in mind upright morals while voting.
Separation of church and state is not in play here. Also, like I stated before;one individuals choice to kill another infringes the right to life of the other by the individual.

lukatmee,
When you say to me on this "Catholic" forum:
"Father Ray, stop abusing those young boys."
haven't you forgotten that it's Catholic priests and bishops who have been exposed as abuses of young boys (and girls)?!?!?
As for me, I follow the teaching of Jesus to avoid titles of honor, beginning with "Father", and instead of abusing children, I have adopted 5, three of whom are severely handicapped, 1 so badly that she died at age 5.

Rayosun 3 years ago
I am afraid, as a Christian clergyman, that the viciousness and stupidity of misquired "conservative Christians" like "lukatmee" is going to cause many intelligent people to reject Jesus Christ's teaching altogether.
But I am here to say that Jesus was one of the greatest LIBERAL teachers of all time, and I invite intelligent people everywhere to Google "LiberalslikeChrist" and see for themselves that following Jesus is anything but being uninformed and/or vicious!
Rayosun 3 years ago

Rayosun 3 years ago
just because he is pro-choice doesn't mean he's going to kill millions of babies, for the love of God, people.
topgirl999 3 years ago
Those mistakes in history are not a reflection of MCCAIN, however that mistake will repeat if OBAMA is elected. He has a history of radical friends, Farakaan has been referred to as Black Hitler, and others like Ayers, Rashid Khalidi, Malcolm X, who want to wipe whites, and jews off the face of the earth. Obama also supports infanticide. search illuminatitv for a movie called I Invented the Internet (Ep. 4: Kill and Destroy). The black liberation theology is a hitler mindset. Think, please.

You just defined the definition of
'pro-choice' with your words quoted above.
Any upright individual understands evil is always a 'choice'.
Just remember that Liberty is a gift and power that extends even to the determination of our eternal and self-chosen destiny.

Mr. Obama is a human being just like we are. Yes, he is very misguided as are many others in this world are, but everyone deserves respect. Views differ, but we're all God's creation. The best thing we can do for Mr. Obama is pray that he'll know the truth.

Life - the primary issue for Catholic voters.
Life - the first inherent right of humans documented by the founders of our great nation.
Life - who is more likely to, as President, follow the teachings of the Church on this most important subject.
