@luisvandre No problem, you are welcome. Just remember that this was not a full res image, there is a part where I had to upres the image a bit to fill hte frame, due to the weird aspect ratio of the hdmi output. Regards
please, explain me how do you did to capture HDMI signal in a canon T2i, if that camera doesn't have hdmi output. The HDMI in t2i is only for monitoring. When it capture, the output is just 480 p.
@luisvandre Hi Luis, this was just a test using Magic Lantern to disable al on screen markers and recording to the ninja without recording on the camera, just on the ninja. Regards
@orsations the question is not this. The question is: HDMI out in T2i is not full HD. Is just 480p. The atomos ninja record this signal from HDMI out.
@fourth1000 I have the 5D Mark II and it is great, but once you use the FS100 with no time limit, proper audio inputs, proper audio monitoring, etc. I really doubt I will go back to using DSRL's as A cam, I will be using them as a B cam for sure, but my A Cam for the time beeing is going to be the FS100.
toss the the dslr away and pick up the sonynex1000u. or the new panasonic cam. its worth the 220mbs per second supposedly ideal for clear big screen projection says atomos.... or wait for tje 5dmark 3
@fourth1000 I totally agree, the main idea behind this video was to show the weird aspect ratio from the canon DSLR's with Magic Lantern. As for the FS100, currently I dont even see the need to use an external recorder, the image quality straight out of camera is awesome. Regards
do not purchas the ninja for any dslr other than nikon d7000. u get this funky cropped aspect ratio, and other artifacts like a record icon or white box. it does not work. u can bypass the icons by pressing record on tbe ninja and not the camera, but then u cant monitor ur footage supposedly.

its a killer. but who knows what cannon can easily come up with for the md mark 3. all it needs is full frame and clean hdmi out signal and im sold.

how can it be 1080i and 30p? It's either interlaced or progressive. Which is it? Did you de interlace after capturing the footage?
