He plays cleanly, expressively, with a great sense of time and with the purpose of bringing out her musical graces, front and center, and he does that successfully. His vocal harmonies too: they're clean and they're simple and they're emotional, delivered with a purpose, and again, adding not only depth and texture, but identity, to her singing and to her playing and to the song as a whole.
