such a great artist by herself! i had talked to her when she was in Nepal. In fact i was one of the three lucky winners to win her CD album (Obituary)... with her autograph in it... but my bad, it got stolen from my room... i know who did it, but he won't just give it back... this was almost 7 or 8 years ago... she is simply great n i loved all the songs from the album..... please upload more songs of her!

You met her? How lucky! I discovered her a week after she toured my area, then she gave up performing permanently before she returned so I missed the chance forever. I think the album you meant is "Orbiter" and it's available at Corysippermusic as well as Amazon. It's awesome!

@LadyGalaxy26 She remains my very favorite entertainer/songwriter of all time. That beauty in her soul just flows through everything she ever wrote. I have always wondered what an experience it would be like to just spend an hour in the same room with her. I imagine one would never be quite the same.

Thank you, I think Cory, although relatively unknown, is one of the best songwriters who ever lived, and her trading careers for Yoga (while probably great for Yoga) was a huge loss to the music community.

Well, as a big Lindsey Buckinghamfan, I rate his remake of this song as his best song ever. I must say that I adore this version too. It's vulnerable and dark, sweet and melancholic. Excellent.

Lindsey Buckingham used the chorus of this song and wrote new verses for his version aptly called "Shut Us Down". I dearly love this song in all its incarnations.

Cory is all by herself as far as I am concerned. I love every song she has ever done on all of her albums. I left a message to that effect on her MySpace page, and she personally has visited my page THREE TIMES now leaving a message each time, once about that and twice about her new website.

I have some stuff in the wings you'll like and you've never probably heard of...kidney thieves, collide, hungry lucy, few others :) They have a bit of an edge. Last time I used Collide on a vid people emailed me and told me I needed to go see a doctor, and they were dead serious.
