  • Random and chance , not so much.. God rains his wrath on the just and the unjust. if some righteous are hurt it is by his design!

  • the majority of Gays I've asked don't like this it's intrusive to them too. Gay friends in the past who went to church, left their worship between themselves and God. These friends, now dead, most from aids, lived quietly and shared most the same values as rest of us. Children and teens were strictly off limits. They were not interested. Their sexuality was their business and they made it a point not to make it mine. They had a class rarely seen these days.

Hate the sin love the sinner.

  • God will not be mocked you say, HMMM. The Tornado hit after the vote. Funny just the church and its grounds were hit. I don't give a shit about the Tornado its all the kids that will be exposed to homosexual predators. I can hear them now. The church says its okay, it'll feel good, I won't tell anyone. Having had a gay predator try to have me as a teen, I see a bad outcome here. Gays violated the unspoken live and let live agreement and are forcefully intruding into the staight world. Bad idea

  • @speakoutbrad "Having had a gay predator try to have me as a teen, I see a bad outcome here."

I'm sorry that this happened to you, but to suggest that all gays are pedophiles is ridiculous.

  • @speakoutbrad .. Most of the pedophile abusers R heterosexual men. Ask any social worker. Consult research data. That should leads us to the conclusion that we should ban heterosexuality and criminalize it. Dont you think??? The unspoken live & let live agreement? WTF? It was not an agreement; it was imposed by the extorsions, demonizations, blackmailings, criminalizations, superstitions, ignorance & death-threats from Christianity, influencing politics. I pity your gay friends & family members.

  • God is gracious and merciful...and is not wanting any to perish...that is why He sent a warning instead of desolation...God wants people to come back to Him...there will be a time of judgement

  • A few people tried VERY hard to say Job sinned too. Nice to know some things haven't changed.

    "Yes, this was a satire."

  • I don't really care about this video, i just wanna say that accident or not, act of God or not, homosexuality is a sin according to the bible, so insane for me is, that this bible believing people dont care about the bible anymore and do whatever they want just to accommodate to the world as it is today... thats not true christianity

  • Hey, thanks alot for this video... it lead me to watch the original christian video which i was just blown away with... amazing how God acted on that lutheran church, love how he works in analogies to show signs and then lets people go their own way. ... Now as for you sir... you sound a bit bitter and angry, just relax, anyone can create a sarcastic video creating a sarcrastic view on a certain worldview but that doesn't make your attempt vaild cause you sound funny and loud, thanks.

  • How bout' saying "Evanglical Lutherans" cause there is also the Missouri Synod Lutherans who do NOT allow this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • poor little man that doesn´t have anything to do just to say ......... things.

  • Clever....love it!!!!!

  • This is fantastic! I'm totally with you on this excellent satire.

  • Thanks jumponit125

  • Repent turn back to God, obey the ten commandments of God at EX 20, the gods of this world will be judge soon, the only God will probe He is the only one God and that He will santify his name, sin must be called sin, we all need to repent and He will forgive and save and heal

  • this is gods time of grace and we as cristians would not like you to loose your soul to the devil. Repent ,read the bible there you will find the truth. the worst is that the devil is using you for his own plan. Then i think that if this video made somebody decide that the word of god is fake than thats worst than being gay. so think about it, pray and let the holly spirit guide you to the truth. Satire it wasnt even funny at all. May god help you.

  • "But in order to come to that conclusion, you'd just have to ignore all of the evidence that god was demonstrating his anger against these people!"

    hahaha. Lulz.

  • One by one, the leadership of churches and denominations in US have been infiltrated by atheists and satanists, who in the first place, have no business being in the churches and seminaries of God, except to subvert and destroy the teachings of the bible. If the voting event is true, then the Lutheran Church of America is already lost spiritually. Woe to their congregation that are being led by a spirirtually lost leadership.

  • I wouldn't expect you to understand. You are a believer.

    So go believe.

  • No. What his video is showing is the extreme stupidity most believers show when they take a random event in a tornado prone area and use it to support their insane beliefs.

  • LOL!! yeah.. so what about the Episcopal church? and yeah just becoz God didnt send tornado at Vatican City doesnt mean He approves the hiding of the Pedophile priests. what about the Jehovah Witnesses who deny the Divinity of Jesus? why didnt God send that tornado and hit Joseph Smith temples? LOL! God bless in Jesus name...

  • everithing made sense it was great

  • You may not support the endorsement of homosexuals, but you do not need to show disapproval. God can if he wishes, but you are not God. So stop pretending to be.

  • lvd909,

    The video was a satire.

  • @lvd909 If a man sees a fire, and does not warn, that watchman who failed to warn- Is he guilty of the fire deaths?

If a man knows that unrepentant sin brings God's wrath (like tornadoes and earthquakes), and says nothing, is he guilty for saying nothing?

  • @lvd909 dont forget that cursed is the man that lies with man, and cursed is the woman that lies with women, if you do not know where it is then look at the book of Leviticus in the Bible as well as its confirmed in the book of Romans.... if you are one of them well thou art cursed as well...

  • I just don't get why people have to make these stupid videos. Who cares what you think? If God is angry with someone, so be it. But I don't think he sent you the memo to start hating on homosexuals. If, and I say If; God sent these tornadoes, then why is it your business. If he is angry, then let him be. It doesn't affect your status with him, and you posting these videos does not do anything.

  • So why does it even bother you? Lets say I am a "fag". Why would you even give a damn about my sexual preference? Tell me. Do you feel threatened by it, does in make you scared. I have yet to see why it has anything to do with you. Tell me, who is your wife. Why did you marry her? If I told you to divorce her because I saw your marriage as immoral, would you? I doubt it, so why should the gays listen to you and the rest of the anti-homo community?

  • Face it, if God really wanted to make his message clear, he would have done so. You mentioned that he could have ripped peoples bodies apart and spelled it out. Well why didn't he?

  • Yet only one house out of those millions of people is hit by a tornado. One house is damaged and you say the reason for this is God's anger? Even if the tornado, not God, damaged a random house, any conclusion could be drawn. If the tornado hit some random house, you would probably say that the owner's cousin's sister's niece was a lesbian. Something that was completely irrelevant but you would desperately attempt to patch up the holes by filling in the holes with crap.

  • I think that everything your saying is a load of crap. So what if they were watching Brokeback Mountain? Just because they were watching the movie does not mean that they supported the content. So yes, I will agree that it is hard to ignore the fact that this house in particular was hit. But out of the millions of people who have seen that movie, how come none of their houses were blown away? That movie has been seen across televisions in cities all over America.

  • The jerk known as logosapologia (the one who put up the video known as "Lutherans endorse homosexuaity, God sends tornado")is incapable of the characteristic known as integrity. She will block you when you manage to show her that her opposition to homosexuality is based on prejudice and bigotry instead of the Bible.

  • CPill2 I´m not suggesting that homsex. is condemned in the Bible, Paul says CLEARLY in Rom 1:26-27 that homsex. is condenable. He concludes in Rom 1:33 that those who practice such things deserve death (of course spiritually). Homosex.was not the cause of the destruction of the city but the depraved state of the inhabitants (notice the incestuous behavior of the daughters of lot in 19:30-35). This depraved state included the practice of homsex.. Gen 19:6 Lot says: do not commit such wickedness

  • Somebody say the Bible does not condemn the homosexuality. They are wrong. The Bible condemns homosexuality Romans 1:26 condemns 1:27 to lesbians and gay men who carried shameful actions to each other. Also the story of men of Sodoma who wanted to rape Lot's guests and Lot offered his virgin daughters to them and they not wanted them (they wanted to guests). (Genesis 19:1-12). God's punishment too. So if the Bible condemns homosexuality and those who practice or approve

    .

  • MeditadorChristiano,

I don't believe the bible is as clear about homosexuality as you suggest. Please view my 2-part series "Are there gay christians" (watch?v=Od8qFNycJ24).

Additionally, are suggesting that Sodom was destroyed because of homosexuality? If so, I recommend you read your own bible, as you are mistaken.

  • I think what impressed me the most about the contentions of the original video was that God cares about what us Lutherans say WHEN NO ONE ELSE ON THE PLANET DOES! ^_^

  • This is one of my favorite videos. It is brilliant. Pointing out the flaws of the argument by analogy in a truly hilarious way. I also love that it is tagged "hermeneutic".

  • Thanks NSquarticsurface, I appreciate your support.

  • excellent

  • Do you think he will come after me next? Just between us, I have a number of friends that are gay / lesbian. Got to run. Someone's knocking at the...

  • MAR4168,

I'm not taking any chances...stay the fuck away from me :-)

  • Too funny! Thankfully, it wasn't HIM at the door! After watching your video, I will be hiring a personal meteorologist. You can never be too prepared! His wrath IS limited to weather-related manifestations, right? :)

  • Funny how the midwest has geographic topology perfect for violent weather patterns. Hot, dry air from the southwest meeting cool moist air from Canada, over a flat plain. I mean, the most obvious thing to happen is thundercells. But, no, it must have been God's wrath...

  • Comment removed

  • this is the stupidest video i have EVER seen, what the hell is wrong with you people!

  • God works in mysterious ways and so does weather patterns.

  • whoa!! tornadoes!?

i am a proud norwegian-lutheran. however, i am more used to getting shit because we are the protestant denomination that drinks a lot of vodka, has pre-marital sex, and dances at social functions.

my home church in williston, north dakota has had a gay pastor for the past 10 years and not once have we had a tornado reach city limits. there was one last june but it took out an oil-field service shop and never even came close to our church. haha!

    thanks for posting.

  • jonasbjarki,

You just shattered my theory :-)

  • I am sad for you that your Christian Community has fallen into sin and corruption. It is all the fault of those who thought taking a foolish gay sinner as your preacher would be acceptable. Stone the bastard gay at the city limits like the Bible says and your people will be restored in God's eyes.

  • If the purpose of this video is to be an emotional argument against another video -- preaching to the choir so to speak... it works.

If it is to make a logical argument for the objectively minded, it is a bit weak and boring.

If it is intended to speak to people who are the audience for the original video, it fails utterly. It does not speak the same language.

  • Do you accept ppssimmons' argument DURound?

  • I assume ppssimmons is the one who did the original video.

I neither accept nor reject it.

I accept that the Tornado could be divine intervention. I accept the idea that it could be chance. I reject the idea that it was CERTAINLY NOT retribution by God. I also reject the idea that it was CERTAINLY NOT chance.

I have no problem with the idea that God would object to a Church authorizing homosexual relationships. But I doubt that God cares uniquely about the Lutheran Church.

  • But you don't see that those who follow astrology are irrational either, right?

  • Some might be irrational.

    Others might not be.

  • Astrology is Satanism though isn't it ? I mean, it directly contradicts the doctrine of free will to suggest that the stars predict human affairs. God would never allow that so it must be Satan's handiwork if it works, and a satanic lie if it doesn't.

  • xxxFamilyValuesxxx,

I think that all those who follow astrology are irrational, but DURound does not.

  • Oh well, another soul to Satan.

  • Don't be so hard on yourself. There is still time for you to repent and avoind the clutches of the evil one.

  • And you too brother landsdown44 :D

  • Thanks. I'll take a look at that.

  • I am a Christian and I believe the Bible is quite clear that homosexual behavior is wrong, just like envy, lust, greed, selfishness and many other sins I am guilty of. If Christians are to hate homosexuals then they must hate all sinners, including themselves. But God is in the business of redeeming sinners. The worst sin is self-righteousness because it refuses to let God cover you with His righteousness which He gives in exchange for your sin. And heterosexuals can sin as much as anyone.

  • Thanks for your response amega3.

I don't believe that the bible is quite as clear that homosexuality is wrong as you indicate. Please see my 2-part video series "Are there gay christians."

  • The fact that someone belongs to your political party, graduated from your school, lives in your neighborhood, attends your church doesn't mean you believe the same. I cringe when someone says God spared me. God does not play favorites. I knew it was sarcasm and liked it. Some Christians are constantly negative and judgmental. Sadly, many of the comments seem to paint all Christians with the same brush. Sounds a little self-righteousness, judgmental, fault finding, and presumptuous doesn't it?

  • It does indeed jedd20.

  • Okay, crazypills2, let's not go *2* far in the direction of Westboro Baptist Church, eh? Scripture does not STATE that the Lord drowned INFANTS during the great flood, and historically I don't think we know with CERTAINTY whether or not there were infants on Earth at that exact time in history. (just saying) What blows my mind is how not only nature, but Scripture, gets so heavily twisted by heterosexists (I know honest folks who fit THAT definition, but NOT that of the word "homophobe.")

  • ...it was pretty good up until about half way through when it became very (even the tone changed) which showed the sarcasm of this video....sarcasm is great in moderation but this did go a little too far. I do applaud the effort but when the tone even to an atheist, or christian, or just video passer by sees that.....meh, trying too hard to prove a point, then the aforementioned good beginning becomes forgotten.

good points but seemed a bit too obvious to be taken seriously...more a comedy

  • destin325,

    Thanks for the comment.

    Take care,

    Steve

  • the "real men and women who hate gays" are certainly not following Jesus of Nazareth.

  • You can say that, but that doesn't magically make it true. Real men and women MUST hate gays. God is very specific about the evils of homosexual behavior and anyone who refuses to accept this FACT is the one denying Jesus.

  • No where is there a commandment to hate gays. And didn't someone once say to pray for your enemies and love your enemies? Gee, I wonder who that was? How does hating gays fit with that?

  • Actually that whole love your enemies thing is a mistranslation. In Hebrew and Aramaic, they use the same word for love, know, and rape. Hence love your enemies becomes know your enemies... or rape your enemies. Of course I'm not gonna rape any gays, then I'd become gay and get their horrible diseases.

  • Actually, the 'Love your enemies" thing is a statement from Jesus in the New Testament", which means two things you really ought to know.

    1. The origional language of the text was greek, not Hebrew or Aramic.

    2. The word for love in that text is "agape", meaning self sacrificing giving, even when it is not your turn. You know, the kind of love Jesus had for humankind when he died for us all.

I can't believe, from your posts, that you have ever bothered to read the words of Jesus.

  • Aramaic is the language of Jesus, Greek is the language of Constantine the Great Falsifier of Documents. The translation of "love" is simply incorrect. Everyone knows the saying "know thine enemy". That is Jesus, this later nonsense is Romans trying to create a propaganda weapon to pacify the Arian Barbarians. Jesus also said "If a man hath nothing but a shirt on his back he should trade it for a sword". Does that sound peaceful to you ?

  • Jesus spoke aramic, but the New Testament was origionally written in Greek a very long time before Constantine. There is no propaganda here, just significant ignorance on your part.

It isn't even debatable. The evidence is far beyond doubt.

  • So what you're saying is that when Jesus said "Love/Know/Rape" in Aramaic, that his disciples, or their translators thought he meant love, not rape or know... Based on what ? Consider the crap about the camel going through the eye of a needle, it isn't a camel the same word is used for hawser, being a very large rope used for mooring ships. Which makes more sense ?

  • Consider this: unless you have a recording of Jesus' words, all anyone has is what his followers wrote. They wrote it in greek. That was the international language of the 1st Century, even in Israel. Since the text says "Love (agape)" then clearly Jesus used an aramaic word corresponding to that. Scholarship doesn't even consider what you claim as a possibility.

As for camel, that would be that animal with two humps, just like the writer claimed.

  • Well that's ignorant, Middle Eastern dromedary camels have 1 hump dummy. Jesus would never have seen a Bactrian Camel. As to what Jesus said, he would have said it in Aramaic and his Apostles, who weren't the writers of the Gospels btw, may have used the word correctly but the translators into Greek had to take their best guess from 3 meanings. This happened a lot.

  • I don't give a shit if those camels have 1 hump or 5. I hope you understood the point.

You might want to stop calling me a dummy. You really set yourself up for that very accusation.

I'll try once more: The only way we know what Jesus said is by what was written in the Gospels. They were NEVER written origionally in any language but Greek. Scholarship's conclusion is that Matthew and John were Apostles and Mark and Luke were not, but ALL 4 were contemporaries and were disciples of Jesus.

  • I pointed out your retarded mistake about the camels because it really illustrates how you don't know anything about what you're saying. You just seem to type words, and you don't really think about the situation in play in the times you are discussing. Next you'll be telling me that Matthew, Mark, Luke & John were all Greek. They spoke Aramaic, someone came and translated the Aramaic into Greek and got it wrong. That's it, that's all. Left you agape didn't it ?

  • What I have told you is fact, everything! You don't know how a translation comes to be. While they spoke aramaic, they WROTE IN GREEK! That means the first time that text appeared it was in GREEK. That means what was spoken in aramaic had the same meaning it has in written form. Otherwise you are claiming Luke just made up stuff when he wrote this in the first century. If he did that, then it doesn't matter what Jesus said in the first place.

  • Sorry, you're just dead wrong. The apostles Matthew Mark Luke and John didn't write their own gospels, they were illiterate. They certainly didn't write them in Greek. A later person came and transcribed the oral tradition from the Aramaic language into Greek, and things got lost in translation. KNOW thine enemy. God is LOVE. Bring him out that we may KNOW/RAPE him. All the same word, mistranslated in the Greek.

  • You might be interested to know that scholarship and ancient historians completely disagree with you. The way you say the gospels came to be written - scholarship laughs at that. Luke, for your information, was a physician. John's gospel is written in the most simple language as he was probably the most uneducated of the four.

So, if you ever bother to get an education you will discover to your dismay that on every single point, you have it completely wrong. Case closed!

  • I have studied Theology at the Dallas Baptist University. We take the Bible VERY seriously. Luke wasn't a disciple who directly heard the teachings of Jesus, he was a disciple of Saul the Roman Agent who split the early Christian movement by incorporating blasphemy into the teaching. Also the earliest Gospel of Luke is dated to 200AD, which is a long time after Jesus and Luke were both dead. Case open !

  • Luke wasn't an apostle. He WAS a disciple as in so am I a disciple of Jesus. If you were taught Luke inserted blasphempy into Christian teaching, there is only one way to say this, - you were taught an outright lie. Scholarship absolutely does NOT agree with your belief. Also, while the earliest extant gospel of Luke could be as late as 200 a.d., the scholarship is fairly conclusive that the Gospel of Luke was probably written between 59 and 63 a.d.

  • Saul faked his conversion and then divided the early Christians into two hostile camps. Those who thought that Jesus was a prophet, and those who thought Jesus was the same person as God. This nearly destroyed the early church. Given that Saul was employed to persecute Christianity, I think he did a brilliant job as an agent provocateur in infiltrating and damaging the movement.

  • Gee, too bad for you there is zero scholarship to back up that BS you are spewing. Paul's conversion is not disputed by any scholarly evidence, none at all!

Once again, nice try. You continue to make up crap to support your bigotry.

You really should investigate those ignorant claims you make. They have zero credibility, ZERO!

  • Are you saying that Saul wasn't a Roman Agent ?

Are you saying Saul DIDN'T introduce doctrines which split the early church ?

If so you are factually wrong. I am merely joining the dots and showing you what happened.

  • Gee, what does it look like I'm saying.

Of course, Saul (Paul) was NOT a roman agent.

Of course, Saul (Paul) did NOT introduce doctrines which split the Church. Those teachings were introduced by Jesus. Following the Rabbi Jesus will always piss people off.

I can see that your beliefs are not remotely similiar to the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. You, sir, are a bigot. the very thing Jesus opposed.

There is ZERO evidence to support your view!

  • So you are saying that Saul was never a Roman agent ? Interesting that you make light of a know truth. A spy is never turned so easily as Saul was. He fell down on a road and twitched like an epileptic. When he rose he said he had a vision and was now a Christian. Very convenient. Then he set about turning everyone against each other by bringing in Gentile ways, Gentiles, and spread his poisons into every ear. Read the story again more critically.

  • Comment removed

  • Absolutely NOTHING you have said is supported by any evidence whatsoever! I hate to say this but you are a fool, looking for support in the Bible for beliefs the Bible finds repugnant.

Where is your support for the claim that Paul was anything but what the Christian Scriptures say he was? I know there isn't any and that's why your postings are nothing but foolish.

  • Yeah, my position has zero evidence... except for the FACTS landsdown44.

  • If your position has facts it is surprising that so far you have yet to post even one. You haven't got squat except for your fantasy and your bigotry. Your interpretation of early Church history is made up out of thin air.

  • FACT 1. Saul was a Roman Agent.

FACT 2. Saul's preaching split the Christian movement between the Gentiles and the Jews rapidly and the rift was so deep and scarring that it never healed leading to centuries of persecution.

I conjecture that Saul remained in Rome's employ and his efforts were deliberate.

  • Are you completely without the service of a workable brain?

You have NO FACTS, just claims that are totally ignorant.

You could just as well claim that you have flying dwarfs in your back yard. There is no more proof for your claims than that!

  • Paul was a tax agent for the Romans, that meant he was involved in house searches. He was a persecutor of the Christians which formed the next step in his career with the Romans. Next he became an infiltrator, we know this because he split the Christian movement.

  • You just continue to make claims that have ZERO historical support behind them.

There is NO evidence Paul was tax agent, none whatsoever.

His history of persecution of Christians was at the hands of Jewish leaders. He never had a relationship with the Romans and he was eventually executed by the Romans.

You STILL have NOTHING to support your totally silly and ignorant beliefs which you use to prop up your bigotry.

Please get an education before making more ignorant claims.

  • Okay, so what WAS Saul's job ? The man had to make a living, what did he do ? You have all the answers, what was Saul's job ?

  • You clearly have none of the answers, just made up crap with zero support. You have not provided anything to support even one claim. I'm not the one making ridiculous claims. That would be you.

Paul did claim, in one of his letters, to be a tent maker.

  • Saul was a Jewish pharisee -- essentially a rabbi -- before his conversion.

  • So, go your merry way, inserting your beliefs and rewording the ancient gospels to fit your bigotry. You certainly aren't the first and won't be the last.

  • Your petty bigotry just is not suported by the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth,

  • Jesus knew his message of comassion for the disenfranchised (and today that would include homosexuals) would produce violent resistance on the part of those who want power and control. Gee, that anti-Cristian power seeking group sounds like you, doesn't it.

  • that should read "message of compassion"

  • good work

  • Thanks cosmicjackpot.

  • I enjoyed the sarcasm greatly.

  • Thanks ticobassie.

  • Keanu Reeves? That's so '90's

  • Keanu Reeves? - 2xsf

You'll have to talk to Prof about that one :-)

  • Oh, that's really one of his? haha, oops, didn't mean to step on someone else's crush ;-)

  • Yes, I'd say you're on Prof's shit list :-)

  • NO, NO, NO, it was not random! Don't you know you heretic that god knows each hair of your head and no a leaf of tree will fall without god's consent? NOW, I have blasphemed BIG against the Lord, and so, if you don't hear from me, it means that the Lord has sent a tornado and I have been taken up in it to heaven or hell. Coincidence? Not a chance.

  • "...if you don't hear from me, it means that the Lord has sent a tornado and I have been taken up in it to heaven or hell." - torresut

You're probably dead by now, but just in case you're not, thanks.

  • you so funny imo humor is the best way to show somone how stupid religon is and can be without hurting there fealings theres no easy way to tell somone thay have wasted so much time and money

  • Cireyar,

I definitely have some of those feelings about my past. I feel that I wasted many years of my life.

    Take care.

  • I told them it was the stupidest video on YT, and the stupidest claim I have ever heard.

Their zealotry is disturbing, and is harmful to society.

  • God loves you all, people, but you need to WORSHIP Him and believe in Him. Otherwise you will end up in HELL for eternity.

    God bless you.

  • Too bad god wasn't angry enough to destroy the whole church. Hey why stop there? Too bad it didn't wipe out the whole town.

Wait, y'know what? He should have destroyed the whole world. Why not? That's what you religious dupes want deep down because you can't handle the fact that youve been lied to since you were born, and never had it in you to question what you were told.

    Idiots.

  • you got somebody peaking behind you there buddy.. When is God going to drop a bolt of lighting on the homophobes....??? Dill weed didn't mention that the statement on Wednesday was typical Lutheran ambiguity but the real deal came on Friday because it lead to more debate and they voted for congregations, if they willed it, to bless same sex couples and allowing monogamous gay clergy.. I wasn't there but maybe there was rainbow?? thanks for the groovy video.. :-)

  • wow... clearly a very theologically sound response. "Let's completely ignore God's word and mock those who try to uphold it." Coincidence or not, there was no tornado or destruction needed for me to know that this is wrong and not adhering to God's will. Thanks Crazypills and your numerous followers who clearly do not understand God's grace and love for mocking the faith of others. May God still bless you

  • cjrhockey,

Thanks for stopping by. If you want to believe that homosexuality is wrong, that is your choice. However, to present an argument that god sent a tornado because he was angry about homosexuality is moronic. Wouldn't you agree?

  • I always hated it when you would see the news story about some tornado and you would see one family that gets a five second spot to say something about their destroyed home and they say, "I thank the lord we survived." This pisses me off because you often hear, "And there were some not so fortunate people who died." So god was willing to spare these people but killed the others? So insulting to the families and the people who died to say, "I thank god I am alive."

  • Excellent point Relativisticism. Using god as a way to explain anything leads to problems and inconsistencies.

  • Good thing you told us this was satire at the end. Had me going ther for a while.

  • shlarg,

I added the slide at the end because a lot of people think I'm serious about my videos. That's kind of sad, isn't it?

  • I hug my dad every time I see him. Does that mean that I suddenly thing it's cool to shove penises up other dudes' butts?

    This guy is sick.

  • Look out Prof!

  • lol at the kid peaking his head in at the beginning. I hope one of the higher ups see this video and favorite so this channel can get some deserved subscribers.

  • snuom,

Yes, my oldest son was apparently interested in what daddy was doing :-)

I've actually made a couple of videos with him..he wants to be called LittleCrazyPills

  • Ah... that's so cute <3

  • Is that his Dakota (Sioux) name?

  • Apparently God wasn't very upset with the ELCA, given the wrist-slap level of damage he dealt out. He REALLY hates schools though. But that grease fire threat - man I'm gonna be watching my back every time I go to a restaurant now.

  • "But that grease fire threat - man I'm gonna be watching my back every time I go to a restaurant now. " - ozmoroid

    :-)

  • Since god was so pissed, I guess the Lutherans are the true christians...

  • Good point! God only seems to fuck with those he really likes. Job, Moses, Jesus! Hardship and misery is a sign you're doing the right thing! Lest, that's what I was taught.

  • churchs are against god

  • God isn't the terrorist it used to be.

  • He has seemed to be a little off of his game lately, hasn't he n3rdm4n?

  • Yep. He used to be all like 'Prototype'. Now he's more kinda like 'The Sims'.

  • LOL I had to put this in my Humor Favorites playlist.

  • Have we noticed -- God reserves His Vengeance mostly for believers, in Bible. Unbeliever gets to rock on doing his thang; at the end he's smooshed.

We believers are (imo rightly) blamed for everything, see Leviticus 26. Notice how David was punished, & Moses, Paul -- & especially, Jesus the Christ.

So maybe at the ELCA meeting, God was instead mad at religiosity: Zech 7:5, Mal 3:5-10 (v.10 is on income tax), Matt. 23:13ff, 23, 25, 27, 29; Lk. 11:44 and all 'hypocrites' verses. :)

  • Oh: and for their Bad Bible Scholarship. Lutherans believe in transubstantiation, which 1Corinthians 11:25-30 contradicts. Notice the death penalty may apply.

  • Thanks brainouty...I'm glad I can make someone laugh.

  • LOL@brokeback mountain

  • these people who believe that god sent that tornado after the voting, are batshit crazy.

lol watching Brokeback Mountain, that's so fucking funny. great job\

  • Thanks freethinker3161.

  • Brilliant CP! If the God of Christianity were real, Christians would have his protection: they'd be rich and happy. True Xians would have perfect families, no divorces, no broken homes, no smart-mouthed kids. A tornado might hit a town and spare the church, homes and businesses of God's people!

  • That does present a problem for Christians RadarKat73080.

  • Clearly someone has no understanding of what it means to be Christian.

  • Hmm! Self-righteousness, judgmental, fault finding, presumous. I think I have a pretty good bead on what being a Christian means!

  • fantastic work.

  • I appreciate your support adamdabester.

  • very good video :D

  • Thank you MaikUniversum.

  • I'm still convinced the tornado was primarily due to the *continued* wearing of those linen/wool mingles. But I concede that god may have been multi-tasking ....

    Great video Crazy!

  • "But I concede that god may have been multi-tasking ...." - TheraminTrees

    LOL...he is omnipotent you know...

  • @TheraminTrees LOL - the whole idea of "two birds with one stone" in this context is hilarious.

  • Funny! Frakkng funny!

    Thanks!

  • Thanks ILYIAB.

  • CrazyPills, I love the final segment of your video, which clearly illustrates that for a Christian to prove that some catastrophe came from God, he has to be able to distinguish it from a random event, and like most calamities of nature, a tornado doesn't discriminate on the basis of religious belief. Nothing would be more convincing to an unbeliever or a person who doesn't follow the Bible literally, than for literal minded Christians NEVER to experience tragedy, while the rest of us do

  • Oh that poor steeple.

Look inside.... see all the people!

  • (continued from previous post) When cancer or a tornado hits them or their fellow Christians, God is merely calling them home to be with him, but when it hits a nonbeliever, or one who deviates from orthodoxy, then it is his anger being expressed. How convenient! I wonder if they would buy the argument that Jerry Falwell died of a heart attack because Lord Vishnu, of the Hindu faith, was pissed that he was a Christian.

  • I couldn't have said this better alphacause.

  • CrazyPills, this is a great video because it illustrates how patently absurd the leaps of logic many fundamentalist Christians use to prove the existence of their God and his wrath. I always find it funny how when the same tragedies befall their fellow Christians, or even them, they don't ever fathom whether they have violated God's will (continued).

  • You've become quite the satirist, planning to give Edward Current a run for the money?

  • Thanks hal2017. The only things that separate Ed and me are 45,000 subscribers and a sense of humor :-)

  • Keep up the good work, that gap will narrow quickly.

  • @crazypills2 You won me over. I subscribed.
