I agree with your point. Games like Halo may have great graphics and gameplay, but you just can't ignore the classics like this. They're the foundation of videogaming (not to mention being stellar and memorable titles in their own right), and deserve respect and attention.

Halo..bah! My little brother is like that unfortunately. Has no respect for classic,retro games that set the standard for todays. Tried to get him to play Zelda & Zelda II a while back and saids they're boring. I spent a least 10 years trying to perfect those and they never once got boring...well not to me. <_< Oh..well. I would have 2 say my fav game of all time is the original Command and Conquer b/c of nostalgia for one and also if u played it u will always remember the original battle between GDI and NOD.

My favorite game of all time will always be Starwing on the SNES I loved MGS3 but like you said I would never say it was my favorite "of all time" nothing can ever beat Starwing for me.
