My dad owns an '07 tundra 5.7, and my neighbor has the 5.6 titan both crew cabs... we raced 4 times, all four times the tundra came out on top. I will admit that one of the runs was very close, i think it was the third run... but the other 3, the tundra had it beat by at least 2 car lengths

This is what I found out from my insurance agent. Nissan actually lowers the HP and Torque numbers. Why you ask? Keeps insurance cost down. The lower the horsepower the less risk it is to insure. Dont believe me? My 07 Titan window sticker said it was rated at 317HP, I added chip, CAI, and exhaust. Their is no way these mods take it even close to Tundras 400HP, but I still smoke them.

This was my 5.7 RCSB tundra. 100% real video. It was one of my first times at the track, and warp was just a better driver. Although stock for stock, Tundras are faster, Titans have a grip or torque. He killed me at the tree and the rest was me playing catch up. Ive since gotten my 1/8th mile down to a 9.0 at this track. You tundra guys shouldnt be too cocky. A few bolt ons and titans are right there with us, if not faster.

likiz01, I know your a fellow tundra owner, but i really hope your packing the 5.7 under your hood because there is no way in hell mod for mod or stock for stock a 4.7 tundra can even touch a 5.6 Titan. They are a 7 year old truck that can still more than keep up with te competition.

@likiz01 uhh what the hell? my 04 titan was rated at 305 hp compared to the tundras like 380 or whatever and look what just happened. if anything the tundra is overated.

@xxxpingzing18xxx One bad race and the tundra is over rated? I've have beat so many cars out of my league at this track due to driver error. One bad launch, miss a gear, or fall asleep at the light in an 1/8th mile race and the other guys can get punished.

This was my 5.7 RCSB tundra. 100% real video. It was one of my first times at the track, and warp was just a better driver. Although stock for stock, Tundras are faster, Titans have a grip or torque. He killed me at the tree and the rest was me playing catch up. Ive since gotten my 1/8th mile down to a 9.0 at this track. You tundra guys shouldnt be too cocky. A few bolt ons and titans are right there with us, if not faster.

if you watch close...the titan was moving forward before green hit. i understand the truck can move in position, but it cannot move forward until that green hits and it definitely was moving forward before green. it won becuz it false started...the video doesnt lie, and the tundra was catching it quickly

No red light, so how could I have moved? If I would've passed the beam before the green, I would've tripped a red light. It's called a reaction time.

Yup, it was a 5.7. He usually beats me, but I got a lucky break this time. He has since ran a 9.0.
