  • This is what I listen to when I want to feel gangster. Seriously. Not kidding at all.

  • smoke weed everyday

  • this is one of the most epic tune's I know...GOOSEBUMPS!!!!!!

  • Gta4 and a good taste in music brought me here.

  • I only like the guitar

  • straight james bond pimpin

  • nice song

  • dre brought me here

  • Dr. Dre stole the melody in the beginning.

  • @thelittlesagg2 he didnt steal it he sampled it its part of musician ship

  • @davidh3536 'musician ship' eh?

  • @DanJCunningham well maybe my choice of words arent apropriate (excuse my spelling ) but its not stealing its sampling

  • @davidh3536 Where can you book tickets to this musician ship? Is it expensive? I could do with a break, could get rich too if I shamelessly stole somebody else's song. Sounds like fun. Where does it travel too? I'm not too keen on hot weather you see, So if im gonna be ripping of songs I'd like to do it somewhere comfortable. What are the services like? Good staff and friendly atmosphere? Is it one person per song or is it like an all you can steal? Did you sit at the Captains table?

  • @MegaMagicExpert pmsl you my freind are what we call in scotland a wideO and its not "stealing" its sampling ;)

  • The fanfic Broadcaste System brought me here.

  • till the next episode

  • Dr.Dre sampled this! I am also a fan of Axelrod!

  • @floopehobaloobie If you like Axelrod then you know what good music is floop!

  • Long live ROCKSTAR GAMES for continually bringing classic hits to the younger generations in all of their GTA games starting with Vice City, which is by far the best sound track ever made for anything!!!

  • I keybound like 50 parts of this track to a garageband custom instrument and have the best time shredding this.

  • a vast majority of real rap songs are sampled from oldies.. and some more recent stuff but sampling makes all these songs better. than a computer beat

  • Fuck Dre. He couldn't write anything this good if he spent the rest of his life trying.

  • my name is alex sobokinolof and im a faggot aka call me sketch

  • why do i think of snoop n dre

  • at the end, what dre does is sample those old songs, fail !!!

  • I'd like to listen to this song for days... So awesome... I wonder why teens dont listen to this... Im a teen and All i can say is.. screw pop music!

  • Comment removed

  • @1Malgus Exactly.. Music was waaay better back in the day

  • im 13 and gta 4 brought me here xD i love 80s and 70s music <3

  • masta ace no regrets... great song, both

  • I wish this was like 20 min long.

  • David MacCallum? David Axelrod is the artist right?

  • Every time I hear the intro im like fuck yeah this tune kicks ass!

But then pretty much every time it turns out to be Dr. Dre & im like shit! thats gay!

Kinda like when you see the back of hot girl & your checking her out & she turns around & shes turns out to be a long haired guy & im like SHIT! Thats proper gay!

Not that, that happens me all the time...

  • Hoolld Up! Heeeyeeey

  • My buddy Wes brought me here.

  • good old fashioned sensible taste in music brought me here.

  • @Achatno1 true, but it's also possible to love both when you're young.

  • wanna see my resume?

  • why the heck are you arguing which one is better??? HIPHOP makes young people pay attention to these oldies, when they would be dying altogether with the older generation otherwise. HipHop is culture preservation and servation in a new form.

And YES in the end, when we grow up ;) - we will love BOTH versions!!!!

  • @Achatno1

    >HIPHOP makes young people pay attention to these oldies

Then how come practically everyone who listens to hiphop doesn't know music before 1990 even exists?

  • @CylusFox04 thats not true, only the people who listen to the shitty rap on the radio don't know about music like this, but real hip hop heads listen to classic music because pretty much every old school and underground hip hop song uses old samples

  • @Achatno1 So true. Had it not been for hip hop, many people wouldn't have heard these originals.

  • where are the chicken nuggets when you need them

  • yeah the next episode dr dre

  • David McCallum brought me here, and sorry folks but.... just because Dr. Dre's version was more popular doesnt mean that it was better, the original is... and Dre's version wouldnt of sounded as good on GTA4 either :)

  • This is some fuckin LA shit right here

  • dr. dre brought me here

  • I bought myself here.

  • Masta Ace - No Regrets :P

  • i want my peanut butter jelly time back richt now!

  • badadadada

  • Dr. Dre brought me here.

  • Thumbs up if ZIT brought you here

  • @BoomBamGoal You got me!

  • @BoomBamGoal lol'd

  • @BoomBamGoal

    Hattie Cursey brought me here

  • @BoomBamGoal

    Shwa brought me here :D

  • Like if fuckin dr dre brought you hear, an you were ashamed when you found out he didn't produce it by himself

  • @saad214 it seems a lot of Dre's beats are remixes/have samples of other tunes. Eminiem's 'my name is', which Dre produced the beat for, was a copy from Libi Saffre's "I got the", and also the main melody from eminem's 'guilty conscience" is straight from Ronald Stein's "Go home pigs". But part of the skill is having the imagination to know which songs are worth sampling.

  • @Sm3llyG Look up Electro Funk music and you can probably find every song he sampled eventually. Except for this one of course.

  • @Sm3llyG

man, hip hop is all about sampling ! almost ALL songs are samples from others. only a few are not !

  • @Sm3llyG Yea that's true I just looked some stuff up it was disspointing not gonna lie but it does take skill your right...I looked up enough artists and producers and it's amazing how many hits are actually samples

  • Masta Ace... No Regrets!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I Hate When People Mention Video Games In Music, It's Annoyingg. -.-

  • Niptuck brought me here

  • DJ HERO BROUGHT ME HERE

  • CLASSIC

  • :creepygusta:

  • I smoke weeed erryday

  • Yessssssssssssss

This would have made an excellent old school James Bond Theme/ Tune

  • one of the greatest nip/tuck scenes in the entire series uses this song, fucking perfect

  • WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SCREAM " SNOOP DOG" ..OR EVEN MASTA ACE..TRUE HIP HOP HEAD HERE.

  • @lightersnatcher

yeah i was waitin for the "dadadadada" too

  • @lightersnatcher You sound like an idiot though.

  • Nigra?

  • Nip/Tuck brought me here.

  • haha. so a long time ago in gta 4 i stole a bus from times square (the triangle) and was going on this freeway in algonquin destroying other cars and this song was playing and i was like WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!?

  • ducky brought me here

  • dr. dre brought me here

  • Kangaroo Jack brought me here

  • la di da di da

  • anyone getting a taxi driver vibe?

  • Comment removed

  • everybody who says dre sampled this song is wrong, dre never samples stuff he prefers either to recreate it himself or to bring the original artists into the studio to recreate their pieces themselves

  • @SuperQuention no he usually samples lol, you're so dumb. he's sampled p-funk many times.

  • The Rain is the name of the instrumental, which was produced by Dilla!!

  • But what's the name of Dillas song that he used this sample for.. anybody?? It goes something like "rain rain rain on my pane" insert sample beat here from 39sec-1:23. Ugh i's gonna drive me nuts!!!

  • Dr Dre sample right here

  • Weird, i cant like it nor can i favourite it. But i can with all the other videos...`?

  • Christian Troy's ace of clubs brought me here.

  • Thumbs up for Nip/Tuck!

  • dre didnt really sample this he just took the whole intro same with most of his stuff

  • @ALfaDuB101 same damn difference

  • @wesruleswow whatever, they rapped over a 15 second intro used 3 time in one track. woop de woop

  • @ALfaDuB101 oh yeah, woop de woop, it's just one of the most popular songs/greatest in hip hop history. nbd right?

  • Comment removed

  • NIP/TUCK !

  • sorry, but this just goes to show how lame dr dre is at sampling in comparisson to Dilla. pure lame

  • @tylerstone1980 next episode is a classic song & one of the most memorable beats in hiphop. you dont hear anybody talk about how classic dillas beat is so stfu.

  • @tylerstone1980 wait Dilla sampled this song too? Whats the name of the song?

  • @AlphaQSilly sorry, i suppose i was just finding some samples and came across this one. dr dre did absolutely NOTHING to flip this song. when i find songs dilla sampled, i realize that it would take a genius to do the things he did. then i come here and dre just took the first thing he heard and looped it. it's just shameful how he is considered among the GOAT's when technically, he's about as gifted as anyone who gets their hands on Serato. even then...i wouldn't give him that much cred

  • @tylerstone1980 actually this is just one of the few he barely did anything to....but keep checking his catalog he has some very impressive samples.

  • @tylerstone1980 and also the stuff Dre sampled i wouldn't because there are some better things going on in this song lol

  • @tylerstone1980 does it really matter HOW he used the sample? ask yourself this- which song out of the 2 were better? Dre's obviously, it's one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time. also, would YOU have even used the sample Dre used, and in the way he did? probably not, stop hating the dre hate is getting ridiculous. Dilla's not a genius either, he's great but way way way overrated.

  • @AlphaQSilly as well, dilla did not sample this song. i wish he did, but he certainly did not. dilla did not use such obvious samples.

  • This song is tooooo doope! Needs to be longer.

  • "This hook might be a good beat to rap to..." = The Next Episode

  • damn groovy this song

  • Comment removed

  • When I hear this song I think of red dead redemption some bad ass cowboy gunfights stickin up trains and shit

  • IT'S THE MOTHERFUCKING DAVID MCCALLUUUUM!

  • Dr. Dre with the loop again! lol.

  • Dre's all well and good, but is he a blond killer in a turtleneck? Fair play McCallum.

  • Yes

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Reminds me of Liberty City.

  • The next Episode.

  • I heard it in GTA4 and realized it was from next episode and had to hear this awesome song again, Dr Dre is the man for turing this into one of the dopest tracks ever.

  • i think of new york when i hear this.u guys gotta agree

  • next episode was good but no regrets sounds better in any type of way (lyrics, use of the sample, general feeling...) ...

  • Dr.dre- next epizode LOL

  • This should have been made longer.

  • master ace got the better part

  • @freewaylaugh I fucked yo mom today..... it was horrible

  • Grand theft auto brought me here

  • @cleveland23jones Snoop Dogg brought me here really but I found out who it was when I was playing GTA.

  • @cleveland23jones fuck yes i guess this is where snoop & dre got it

  • dr dre is a genius

  • da da da da da

  • 0:28 also sampled a lot! masta ace no regrets for example

  • Sounds like a musical score to a Kung Fu flick from the 70's.

  • How the fuck do you find this? Dre is a man who was dedicated himself to his craft, a real master, he undoubtedly goes throughs hundreds of records a week to find just what he needs, analyzing everything he hears, finding the music and the right vibe in anything he gets

  • @ThreeCrowns Dre wasn't the first to sample this, Missin' Linx did a sample called M.I.A

  • @manonfire918 huh wow i didn't know that, much respect, dre is still an amazing producer in his own right though

  • @ThreeCrowns true dre is sick just thought i'd let people know about it as its also a good tune

  • Dr. Dre is a genius

Dr Dre - The Next Episode

  • GTA 4 ^^

  • @jjhhaarrddyy Fusion FM

    BABY!!!!!!

    HAHAAAAAA

    YEahh!!!!

  • @vanbeek16 Yeah ;D

  • @vanbeek16 Grand Theft Auto :D (Y)

  • David McCallum is a genius for making this song and Dr Dre is smart for sampling it

  • No regrets - masta ace

  • the next episode - dr.dre

  • dr dre is a fucking music god

  • Da da da da da

  • I just love Nip/Tuck :)

  • Wow. Ducky from NCIS. I never knew he was THIS gangsta

  • this... song... is... KING!

  • GTA IV GOOD SONG

  • reminds me of taxi driver

  • I love how epic this sounds.

  • this was also sampled by kevin federline

  • ...he's quite a guy, they said that it didn't take too long before they didn't need the M.E. consultant on NCIS as much as before-the shows consultant freely admits that McCallum knows just about all precedures and criteria of a real medical examiner... this guys something -musician, actor...and now practically an M.E.

..considering not many know his talents I'd say add "humble" to the list.

  • I don't know why the hell this reminds me of the nostalgic, good old GTA III days...

  • sounds like theres elements of enter the dragon in this tune too

  • ITS THE MOTHER FUCKIN DAVID MCALLUM!

  • TIGHT!!!!!

  • LOOOL its ashame not alort of people know where the ideas of making samples really come from, some people dont even know it was a sample
