@EmperorofCartoons Yes, I have a music CD, Good & Evil and 6 instructional video CDs for sale on ebay by searching: Keni Lee Thank you for your interest, comment, and question. Feel free to write if I can be of further assistance. Enjoy.
@Hiroshimaslim Thank you for your comment. This was a real fun gig. The gentleman who hired me, I met while performing on the subway platform. Apparently, his wife (a surprise birthday party for her) is a big fan of slide guitar and he wanted me to entertain his guests before they went to have dinner at Tavern on the Green. Enjoy.
Started to listen blues just recently, and I think that this is Blues with big B. Hope to find something as good as this performance. Keep up the good work!
KeniLee,,,dude, I pop in to see what you have been up to on a fairly regular basis.. not once have I been disappointed. And if I have been, its only been because I haven't seen "your name in lights" at our local Hard Rock Cafe...because thats for certain a show I would pay to see!
@Tailgun69 Thank you for your kind words. Right know I am content to play on the subway platforms, streets or at local festivals. I also spend a lot of time teaching therapeutic exercise (Tai Chi and Qi Gong). Maybe someday I will take my act on the road for real. Happy Holidays. Enjoy.
the amount of respect i have for you just got a lot higher when i noticed that you take the time out of your life to thank everyone for their comments. great guitar. great playing. great singing. keep playing the blues man you got talent.
@skaternick91 Thank you for your kind and supportive words. I appreciate the opportunity to present my work here on this venue, and that people take the time to watch, listen, and comment. Happy Holidays. Enjoy.
@Heahmount Thank you for your kind and encouraging comments. Maybe someday I will move into the Limelight, but for now, I am content to busk on the streets and teach guitar. Enjoy.
@PlayerDeltaBlues Thank you for your comment. Yes, good choice. Republic Guitars offer great quality and excellent tone for a very reasonable price. Enjoy your practice.
@smalltimecrooks070 Thank you for your interest and comment. I teach, You Got to Move on my instructional video CD 1. Please visit ebay and search: keni lee
@weiner71 Thank you for your comment and question. I told the owner of Republic guitars, Frank how I wanted it set up. He did the work and shipped it out to me. Enjoy.
@wishhunter Thank you for your question. Yes, you can play a resonator in standard tuning but just like banjos, they seem to play better in open tunings. Open D (DADf#ad), Open G (DGDgbd), and Open C (CGCGce) are the most common. If you are interested in learning this style, please check out my instructional video CDs on ebay by searching: keni lee
yo, im gettin a new resonator, and im askin you for advice as to what guitar i should get. the one you're playin in this has particularly caught my eye, and im lookin at republic resonators more specifically (national is a little too expensive for me lol) so uhh, whats the best republic axe youve had the pleasure of shredding on? lol
@JazzBill Just good old style Kung Fu! LOL That was my set list blowing away. I learned this trick on the subway platform when someone threw a dollar into my can and accidently missed. The last thing you want is your money to blow down into the tracks. Enjoy.
@nmdx001 Thank you. The signature is from John E. Dopera Jr. He is the son of the inventor of the National Resonator guitar. I was frotunate to have the opportunity to interview him during the filming of an upoming documentary about my adventures with resonator guitars called Busking the Blues. The film is done, but will first appear in film festivals before it is available for sale. Enjoy.
@jamesraymondsmith I appologize for any inconvenience. I did not mean to offend you. I send information to all my guest who leave comments on my page. Thank you for visiting.
@gregks08 LOL Thank you for your comment. Yes, Yes...I'm gotta put on my shirt and my t...i...e...Actually it clips on around back. LOL I want to get a real tie on one because I found a youtube video showing how to tie it. Unfortunately, they are a little more common down South. Eventually I will make my way to the Western store and pick one up. Enjoy.
@66FTP Thank you for your comment. Hopefully someday I will get the chance to travel across the pond to visit England, the land of my ancestors. I sell many of my instructional CDs to my friends in the United Kingdom. Enjoy.
@kirbySfan Thank you for your comment and suggestion. All of these song are in Vestapol tuning (aka Open D). Although I only teach one song out of this performance (You Got to Move) on CD 1, I am quite sure by practicing the lessons you will be able to figure out most of what I am doing on the other songs. My CDs are designed mainly to teach you how to figure out and arrange song yourself. Enjoy.
DUDE! Do you have any CDs or anything? This is some good stuff.
